The only thing good about this shop are the designs that 2 of the girls that work there can do. THAT'S IT! The location is in a dirty plaza that has terrible parking, the nail salon itself is small and needs to be remodeled. The staff is beyond hood. They are cursing, have their kids running around, they are extremely loud and ratchet. If you are unemployed and on government assistance than this is the nail spa for you. If you are a working woman this is the last place you would want to go to. I don't know what's worse, the ratchet clients that walk in there or the ratchet staff. Let start off by saying if you're the kind of person wanting the "spa-experience" then this isn't the place for you. They play rap music on blast, and curse words are thrown around easily. I personally don't mind that at all. Who This place is for are people wanting amazing nail art!. You show the technician a picture from Google or Instagram and they can do it. That is actually how I found out about this place was thru Instagram. @cujosworld did my nails today and did an amazing job. My nails are my way to treat myself and I'm careful about where I go .. My first visit to this establishment. I Want to relax when I go to a nail salon and feel pampered. I walk in and the first lady asks how she can help me, I'm getting a pedicure. She sends me to a person by the name of Eric,   he happens to be very different from your typical nail tech, but none the less I liked that he actually spoke to me and not just tap my foot and point. Reason for 2 stars is 1, He instantly turned music on his phone that was to me more of a distraction, but Ive notice at all the salons the techs are watching something or listening to music, is this the new way of service?  2.  He didn't spend any time massaging my legs and feet. But on a positive note I'd give him and just him a 4 star for being the classiest person that works there.The other staff proceeded to talk garbage about a client that just left, saying she is super picky and doesn't tip well.  Cursing like no one else was in there. Don't get me wrong I curse also but dang these ladies if I'd call them ladies, were ghetto as hell. I had a terrible experience. I had a pedi done and they scraped my skin too much with the rock and I bleed. After all this they still charged me full price for the pedi. They need to be trained and know how to use a rock. If there is no hard skin don't go over it. It's simple. Very disappointed. This is my third time going and probably not going again. I was planning to make this my go to shop because I live near by. But after my last visit I don't think I will be going. On the price board it clearly states That a refill is 15$Gel polish is 15$And pedicure is $25Cut down is $3I usually only spend $58But I was over charged 63$ For basic short pink nails with no design. Then when I asked why I was told its because each person charges differently ..........  This place was recommended to me, but after today I will not be returning. And the person that recommended me as well as a friend who comes with me each visit will not be spending a dime more in here. Sad lost of an extra 250$ monthly! My nails look AMAZING! Mel is very meticulous but works fast. I came to her after I saw my friends rhinestone encrusted birthday manicure. I got a full set with gel color, chrome pigment and crystals. This isn't a relaxing nail spa with New Age music and cucumber water. I recently moved from out of state and have been looking for a nail salon that is relaxed, professional, and -most non negotiable- clean. I have literally 0 critiques or complaints regarding my experience. The place was very hygienic. There was no question if the tools were clean and properly sterilized. Their application was meticulous. The nail techs for mani and pedi were patient with me when I explained what I wanted and were respectful of my particular requests. I'm very picky when it comes to my nails and I tend to pick at them as well. Other nail techs have done a good job but they would always tend to lift or look very bulky. Ever since I started going to Lina my nails look GREAT - not one has lifted and they don't look thick or bulky. If you're in the mood for trendy acrylics this is where you wanna go with Mel or Lina. Amazing amazing nails. They last for weeks. Designs are clean original and creative. I love getting my nails done here. I do have to agree with the previous reviews regarding the other clients who come to this shop and yes it is a "hood spot" but I don't care because I tune them out and my nails are always perfect. LINA is super talented with her work, she always does exactly what I ask her whether is a picture that I show her or something from the top of my head. She works by appointment only so for me wait time is not an issue. I have been there without an appointment as well and have gotten my nails done with the other girls (Sendy and Imilse) and they are really good too, yes I waited but Is worth the wait.. If you go into a busy shop then you know you are getting something good, I don't know about you but I wouldn't go to a Nail Shop that is always empty. The prices are very good and reasonable. Finally a gem in Homestead- in Miami really. Yes the place is a tad bit ghetto.  Yes the staff speaks hood and some dont even speak english. But you will get the best pedicure you have had a in long long time. Lina did my nails.  My eyebrow lady goes there and I have always been inlove with her nails.  Lina is a magician and her sister Cindy from what ive seen amazing.  They arent expensive I paid 50$ for gel mani/ pedi with designs.  Not bad. I been to alot of places here and nothimg compares to their nail art work. I can't stand to be in a place more than an hour with loud ass, ghetto people for afraid of an altercation for getting annoyed by their butts lol. Word of advice, appointment is most definitely necessary if you want Cindy or Lina to do your nails. They are extremely creative with nail designs and quick!  You can take the chance and walk in but there is no guarantee that you will have a short wait. Going at the beginning of the week is good. Not as crowded. I just go for nail designs and do my mani/pedi somewhere else.  So if you're looking to be all cutesy with nail designs they will not disappoint you one bit and if you don't mind sitting in a hood shop with hood ppl then go lol!
