What bothers me about the casino is when you cash in your ticket at the end of your casino play. The redemption machines only pay out whole dollars so if you have any change left on your voucher you have to walk to the entire opposite end of the casino to the cashier to redeem your change. The 1st issue I had was the experience of someone smoking pot on a non smoking floor that filled my room with smoke. At first the front desk just gave me a humidifier to "help" with the smell. Then I complained again and threatened to call the police. That's when they actually did something about the source and moved my room. Then the 2nd issue is I was woken up by the sound of could be described as a jackhammer above my room. The front desk had nothing they could do for me. There was no notification that the noise would be louder on some floors than others. This should have been told to the guest upon checkin. Five stars for the casino and especially the blackjack dealers and most of the pit bosses. One star or less for every restaurant I’ve ever been to there thus far. I showed up about midnight on a Friday night, it was very busy. I walked around for 1 hour getting aquainted with the restaurants and the casino tables. I parked in the Lucky St garage. I don’t recommend it. You basically have to walk through a construction site to get into the casino. Leaving at 11 pm made me feel uneasy. Gotta do better than that Hard Rock. I know you are trying to make improvements but having your customers walk through a construction site is not a good judgement call Read Less

We went to see DWTS . Let me start by saying if you can get there early the lines on the street to get into the entrance is ridiculous only because due to the construction they have only one lane to get in , so you get traffic from every side trying to merge to one lane. Once you park and get to an elevator you pretty much see nothing but construction or what looked more like destruction. Nothing fencing off like that orange tape stuff which at the very least could of put by ...the pathways to walk to the venue. Once there a totally unorganized security check being herded like cattle. The show was ok.. the stage was small so it made it hard to see and the two tv screen’s were st the side s of the stage and you couldn’t see the one’s on your side because of the upper level hanging down so then why now put them for the side seats straight Infront so we could actually look and see better. Once the show was done they blocked the exit so that you could only exit right which was meant so you had no choice but to walk through the casino.. ( ok , I get that) but when we got to the second floor parking garage she asked if we were high rollers and we said no and she said we had to go all the way back to were we came from the show and make a left ! It was not fun walking In heels so far first of all, let alone single file all the way to the side of a wall or otherwise be trampled by the herd coming at you all one way. So , yes I would say that they need to see for themselves through our perspective verses theirs and make some very much needed basic improvements. First time at this spa, and I will be returning. I arrived thirty minutes early - as indicated in their etiquette instructions on the website, and used this time to check out the spa amenities (showers, wait area, sauna and steam room). The water area was under construction, so I indulged in a little eucalyptus steam room.  Ingrid performed my lemon verbena spa treatment which included a mild body scrub, wrapped in heated blankets while it worked it's magic, a scalp massage with aromatherapy oils, and finished with a nice back massage. I booked the sole massage. Which is a foot and hand massage. I was taken to room that must have been right next to the construction , the whole time I was there I heard loud banging noises. I couldn’t relax at all! Plus I was only given a foot massage and not the hands! And even that was only the quality of a pedicure. Don’t waste your time or money Read Less

My guest received only half the treatment that She signed up for. She was supposed to have my feet and hands massaged. And only received a mediocre foot massage. Much like a pedicure Plus the room She was in so noisy. She couldn't relax because of the banging from construction. Very disappointing.   My service was just average . Read Less

I scheduled  a 1 o'clock appointment earlier in the week for a massage on Sunday 10/8/2017 which  I decided on the 50 min Swedish Massage, once there the receptionist showed me upstairs to the ladies lounge area to get ready for my massage she showed me where everything was : showers, lockers, restrooms, and waiting area, upon getting ready for my massage she waited while I picked a locker out which had the robes to put on and i was able to lock up my personal belongings and get changed for my massage, upon waiting I meet Tanya she introduced herself stated she would be the one doing my massage she was very friendly and personable and we had great conversation while walking back to the massage room plus she gives great advice(Thank you Tanya). everything was great in the massage room, massage  table was nice and warm, and the smell of lavender filled the room which I find to be very soothing and calming,  she at first had me smell some of the lavender she advised to give the calming effect (it worked) she began one of the best massages I'd ever had, and also targeted my shoulders which is where I mostly carry my stress, the full body massage was great and relaxing and I highly recommend, I'll be going back every two weeks. I have to give very special recognition to Melanie, a manager at Rock Spa.  The BF and I each had two appointments scheduled for Saturday, we called and switched them to Friday.  After enjoying our massages we waited and waited to be called for our second appointments.  Turns out, the manager who rescheduled us booked only the first appointment for each and not the second - big miss.  Obviously, I was not happy about coming back the following day for a :25 treatment and asked to speak with a manager - when Melanie came up she apologized and offered compensation that was exceptionally fair.  I was very pleased with her professionalism and responsiveness - Melanie and Rock Spa did right by us, thank you. The best by far!! Alex who did the massage was just amazing and released alot of pain that I had which I suffered from it for a while. He was very professional and really helped me. Also Jenny the women who did my facial was amazing . I saw a change on my face and was thrilled . Will for sure come back to this Spa. I've been coming here for more than 12 years (located inside the Seminole Hard Rock hotel) & using hairdresser extraordinaire Alon, the whole time (I'm a fan, haha!) {my cousin gifted me a birthday gift certificate years ago & I could tell from the way he artfully cut & colored my hair the first time, this was a true artiste!  My hair was so soft, fluffy and shiny that I was hooked (moreover, I've continuously received compliments on my cuts and color over the years)!  Additionally, I've seen many people with their finished hairstyles and/or color leave the chair before me and can attest that he is  talented, I haven't used anyone since (except for on occasion when he was on vacation).He and the talented team at the Rock spa have such great energy and provide such friendly service!  (Alon in particular has a charming smiley personality as well!),  Basically one just wants to bask in this salon/spa's delightful-ness as an experience continuously!  I always feel like I'm in heaven every time I'm here with the beautiful decor and nice selection of teas, coffees, snacks and mimosas.  (I just left & since I started writing reviews recently on Yelp, figured I'd write one for here too!).The ambiance of the spa is special as well (they used to have trompe l'oeil murals which were  just my taste, but they redecorated a few years back and now it's a drop more contemporary, but they achieved a nice balance upstairs & downstairs in terms of decor.  It is relaxing with elements of cherry wood, white stone marble, dim starry ceilings in the special tub treatment room upstairs with some metallic accessories mingled in.  They've got a superb array of treatments to choose from as well!  Additionally, I've had manicure & pedicures multiple times as well while waiting for color to set in, and always delight in the service and seats. Not that great of a 75 minute pedicure. Took me forever to write this review cause I hate giving bad reviews.I had a 75 min pedicure booked by my mother in law and everything was paied in advance, we met up there.You can valet your car at the Hard Rock casino and walk passed the Hard Rock Cafe and into the salon.The pedicure section has a selection of salt scrubs to add to your soak.There was the hot water waiting for me. The pedicure lady was working on my mother in law , her friend was getting worked on by another lady. I had my feet in the water for 15 mins and the lady finished up the mom's pedicure, rushing through it, disappeared, then came to work on my feet! I guess there were only two pedicure ladies working.I asked her what the pretty salts are (I'm a Yelper and look around businesses;) ), she immediately asked me which one I preferred, then dumped some salt in my foot soak, which I got to enjoy briefly.This pedicure turns out to be the worst I ever had! Not much heel filling , nor much a massage, and I ended up leaving with heels of sandpaper, way worse than when I walked in (have no idea how that's possible?!).The presentation of products was great, but it didn't matter if you don't have employees who are skilled.There's a beautiful spa , but I didn't get to see it, my time was wasted on my feet.I doubt I will ever be back.
