Bought a gift certificate for my girl friend for her birthday. The staff was very friendly and helpful in guiding me on the services I should get for her. When she went in to redeem the gift certificate she had a great experience. Loved the service and the relaxing atmosphere. She was greeted with a mimosa and thoroughly enjoyed her mani pedi then the relaxing facial. Then they came out with a cupcake and balloons and sang happy birthday to her. Started off ok. Language barriers. Mid service The staff ws changed. I had a gentle sweet friendly tech Maria. Alot of ear talking and Another tech was placed at my chair. She was rough! She leaned on my feet alot to grab her tools. She left uneven gel polish lines. The manager fixed it but the tech was visibly mad. I Was asked if I wanted something. Extremely rude !!!! I had set an appointment they even sent me a confirmation text message still didn't have my appointment in the system and the girl told me she couldn't get to me for another 40 minutes . They put me on the phone with the owner and even the owner had an attitude like as if I was the one who messed up...who runs a business like that ??? Great prices in comparison to everywhere else I've tried. And their gel manicures actually last! I go every 2 weeks just because your nails grow out. They last that long! Everywhere else I've gone locally they chip next day or couple days later, after you pay so much. This is a clean and beautiful salon. Employees and owner are friendly and do a great job! Carolina was wonderful! I tried out this nail salon after failed attempts trying to find a home for my nails. In the past I would go to salons and leave with my nails getting cracks in the paint job within a day or two. Now I still have the original manicure with no cracks over two weeks later. What impressed me about this place was the cleanliness, Teamwork between technicians, and the royal vibe given off with the high back pedicure chairs and soft lavender throw blankets. Something that's rarely considered when choosing a spa or nail service but really makes a difference is teamwork! The employees cleaned up after one another and as a result each station was ready for a new patron quickly. No one was catty - which really added to he harmonious vibe set by the light lavender walls, scented candles, and Marilyn Monroe wall art. I made an appointment the same day and was able to come in at noon on a Tuesday. It was just myself and one or two patrons at that time. The staff was friendly and got started immediately. My nail tech was wonderful. She really took her time to give each fingernail and toenail the utmost attention. I got a gel manicure and regular pedicure. The chairs don't offer that uncomfortable mechanic massage, but the white leather is very comfy and quite regal looking. I was surprised to learn that they offer full spa services including massage, full body waxing, hair, makeup, eyelash extensions and body treatments! My experience was saddening. I went in for a mani and pedi and came  out with an unsatisfying mani. I went in for the first time (because of the great reviews) and left 3 hours later with a mani I wasn't satisfied with. The salon is so pretty!! People are nice and they offered me a mimosa! Love that aspect :) My nail tech did not speak English so it was hard to communicate what I wanted. Luckily there is pinterest! I just showed her the color/shape. She was taking her time (which is great and much appreciated) but sighed the whole time like she was bored with her job or me or the process? Not sure but she was not happy and made it obvious. She proceeded with my "coffin" shaped nails, which I loved (at the beginning) then to the dip powder process. Everything was going great up to that point (minus the 1.5 hour I've been there getting the saw mani). Somehow she must have used the wrong file/technique/polish? Not sure what but all my nails had white streaks/swirls/blotches in them.  An English speaking person came over to see what I was talking about and said it was normal. Unmmm... this isn't the first time I've had these done. This is defiantly NOT normal. My nails looked so ugly! At this point of being there so long (2 hours) they didn't know what to do and everyone spoke Spanish so I tried to communicate the best I could. My nail tech ended up placing a gel manicure OVER my dip powder nails to fix the mistakes (not the color I wanted either). If I was gonna get a gel mani I would have done so from the get go.   I was so disappointed and it was approaching the 3 hour mark of being at the salon. I wanted to leave. My nails weren't the color I wanted, there was so much product and chemicals on my nail that they are so THICK and now were squares shape and I never got my pedi. The spa is beautiful and I found it thru groupon, witch as far as I know, do NOT force any store to be part of their business so if you choose to sell thru them you must be happy that you get customers buying your services!! The spa it's pretty far from where I live but sounded like a place that I would enjoy being a regular of so I made the trip:  as soon as I walked in the owner made me feel so uncomfortable that I almost turn around and left the shop. Next, The spa is empty and I am wondering around while they decide who is going to do my nails and when one of them finally shows up, she didn't bother to say hi or ask what service I would like, but at this point if she does a good job at least I won't feel like a complete waste of time and money... Well I have to say that is the worst mani and pedicure I ever had!! I didn't have a yelp account and I decide to open one because places like this need to get a sense of professionalism AND customer service!! I can go on and on about things that were wrong while I was there but I Don't feel that really matters because without this two main points you won't make it anyways. I gave 2 stars because the shop is really a tasteful and beautiful place, even dough the experience was a zero stars, but I rather to keep going to the no so pretty shop around the corner where I know I get the service and treatment a good customer deserves. I absolutely love this place! I went here for the first time today with my mom and it was great. I got a Nexgen manicure and a regular pedicure. They both came out awesome! The only downside is there are only a few Nexgen color options. Besides that the staff are super friendly and nice! Pedicure or polish change ?!?!? At this place you won't know the difference!!!Horrible customer service, poor management, and  horrendous nail job is the summary of my experience at Lavender Nail Spa. Pros: DecorCons: customer service, management, nail color selection, types of service, professionalism, and it's takes them forever to complete your nails! When I walked into the spa I requested a mani and pedi with gel on both. I was asked to go to the back to pick my color which took me forever due to the selection available. Once I finally settled for a color I made my way to start my mani. The mani wasn't too bad, she did a good job cleaning my cuticles but I must say very painful! Less than a day later my gel is peeling !!!!!! Off to the pedi I go or should I say polish change!!!! All she did was change the polish on my feet, wet it, and dry it off. When I asked was she going to soak my feet she replied "oh you wanted that and that's not how things are done". She then proceeded to tell me it was illegal to soak your feet during a pedicure, and that the Chinese people are doing it wrong! It beautiful, girly, and clean. Everyone was so friendly, haven't experienced such great customer service in a while. I had a great experience enjoyed a mimosa while while getting a gel mani and regular pedi. Paid $55 which was great price.. all was great I even told everyone one I know about this adorable little spot.  But two days later and I have chips on three fingers and my thumbnail is horrendous. Today was my 2nd visit to lavender spa, I must say the service is always great. I found them on Groupon and was surprised when I actually received a great mani/pedi and such great service. Normally the service received on a Groupon mani pedi are subpar but not this place they went above and beyond to give great service. Complimentary mimosa or wine with service you can't beat that! The first gel mani pedi lasted me almost 3 weeks, I I was surprised. The First time I did my nails was wth Renne and she was awesome, she took her time and literally did everything perfect. The second time I did my nails with Veronica she was very sweet and did a good job but I felt she rushed through a bit more, I like he way Renne took her time.... Still great though. Next time will definitely make appt with Renne. Honestly all the ladies of lavender spa are sweethearts the energy in this place is very familiar, makes you feel at home. I'm one of those really picky nail salon type of person...well really picky with everything type of person. The person who goes through everything with a fine tooth comb just to make sure it's for them, so with that said here is my opinion on the only been open for 4 months Lavender Spa & Nail Salon:Pros-Elegant, classy, clean cut decor-Complimentary beverages (champs, coffee, tea, spa water etc.)-The owner Barbara has an amazing personality and you can tell the salon is her baby and she will do what is in her power to take it to the next level. I truly enjoyed talking with her about the start up process. Most salon owners are not comfortable with sharing their experience with customers, but I really appreciated that moment of realness. -Wide variety of gel colors with matching colors for toes -Staff is very friendly and willing to help each other Cons-My nail tech took a while to finish my pedi and gel manicure. She didn't wrap my finger nails while I was getting the pedicure done, so that the gel I had on was ready to be removed once she finished with the pedi. One of the other girls noticed and came and wrapped my fingernails, but at that point my pedi was complete, so I still had to wait for the acetone to work.-I was unable to communicate much with my nail tech because she spoke very limited English. I'm not sure about anyone else but part of the process of getting your nails done is talking/chating/gossiping with your nail tech about life to build a bond, so that person gets to know you and you end up wanting to go back due to the relationship you have with the tech (catch my drift?). I missed that part with my tech, but she was still very very nice and she tried to say a few words. I also tried to speak a little spanish. All in all, I had a pretty good experience at Lavender. Am I ready to drop my current salon where I can go in to my regular nail tech and say, "Hey hook me up" ? Not exactly, but I will stop in from time to time and refer others to check it out. I found this deal on Groupon knowing I would need to pay more for my fill and nail fix. This place is very cute inside with the purple walls, crystal chandeliers and large white thrown looking pedicure chairs. I moved to FL from VA almost a year ago and have struggled finding a good nail place. This is it. I had Rene(sp?) she was a perfectionist which I love, making sure every nail was just right. So many places make the nail too thick and very fake looking but she did my nails very thin and natural just like my girl in VA I had been missing. I'll be going back for sure. Read Less

Wow! This salon fulfilled all my expectations. First off, it's so beautiful and clean. Second, the staff is so sweet and friendly, and third: Mimosas!! I went in with my Groupon and was greated by Sandra. She was so sweet and did an AMAZING job on my nails. And when they offered me a mimosa is when I realized this is my new nail place, although they do massages, facials, and hair as well. It does take a little longer than usual but I don't care. Beautiful salon and spa but unorganized. They didn't provide color swatches so therefore I was unable to pick a color I liked, then I was told while doing my powder nails that the clear coat wasn't good so I was offered gel colors instead. Luckily I wasn't charged for that portion. I was there for a total of 3.5 hours. No massage. My friend who I had asked to come try it out with me was very upset as they had to redo her nails twice she hated the color and then on the way out they got messed up. Needless to say she will have to pay full price tomorrow somewhere else to fix them. Not a happy camper. I will not be back. I'd also recommend they put peaceful spa like music on instead of YouTube videos of Spanish Latin gangster videos. The spa was beautifully designed though. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. It amazes me how different some of these Spa and Nail Salon's are.  Every time you think you find the best one and say you are going to go back, well you probably will, but every time a new one pops up, it seems like they are all stepping up "their game". and there are more and more options in Broward County.  I went to Lavender Spa one afternoon to meet my wife there and I it was definitely time for a pedicure. I trust her opinion since she goes to a few over the years, so she recommended we meet here.  First impression when walking into a spa is important and if I feel the atmosphere is total relaxation, it puts a smile on my face and I immediately feel like I am in for a good half hour-hour of relaxation.  Here, as soon as I walked in, yes, it was Lavender, all over, with crystal chandeliers,  but the first thing that caught my eye were the how large and high up those pedicure chairs were.  And roomy, with light leather. It almost looked like King or Queen's chair in a castle.  I could not wait to take my shoes off and climb into one of these babies.  My wife had gotten there first so the girl at the front desk was expecting me. So sweet and such a smile.  She showed the "King" his chair which had an automatic massage with it, and got myself situated.  The smell of the place was even relaxing.  The girl who did my nails was relaxed, not rushed and made me feel very comfortable.  I normally have an issue with "tickleitis" under my feet, but never had that issue with her.They do have a big screen TV on one of the side walls.  They always ask if you want wine, water and coffee, and they served me coffee like I was in a restaurant, in a coffee cup, with on a coffee plate and with a Biscotti.  Pretty classy. What is so great about Lavender, is that they are small, but offer a menu of full spa services and so reasonably priced.  They have 3 nail stations, an area to get your hair washed, cut, colored or treated.  They offer Body Treatment and Eye Enhancements.  They also have a separate room for massages.  Lavender Spa & Nail Salon is a FULL SPA in a small, friendly, relaxing, and MOST OF ALL, clean and bright setting.  It is not far from my home, just west off 441 on Stirling Rd. in a strip mall on the South side.  I will be coming back to Lavender Spa again too. I just left from my first visit. I loved everything about my experience. I had the basic pedicure and eyebrow wax. There was nothing "basic" about the pedicure it was very relaxing with a scrub and hot towel finish. These ladies really take their time to make sure it is done right and you are happy. The all white leather and accent of lavender is very nice! I have never seen a salon like that before. I got a gel manicure and pedicure from Johanna and she did a great job. Her prices are beyond fair! It is like a one stop shop: you can get a massage, facial, nails and eyebrows done all at one place which is nice. The owner thought out every single detail of the salon. She used crystal and rhimestones to accent the white. To be open for such a short period of time it is beautiful. I needed a pedicure and remembered seeing this new spa close to where I was. Wow I have never seen such a beautiful spa other then in a hotel or a free standing building. This beautiful spa is located in a strip mall just west off 411 on Stirling Rd in Hollywood. The decor is white leather with lavender accents and crystal chandlers so pretty. I felt so relaxed!  I came in just as they opened so I didn't have to wait.. Yay, which made me so happy I hate waiting. My husband was meeting me here and he had no wait as well. They offer you coffee, wine or water as you sit down. The coffee comes with a little biscotti nice little touch. The pedicure chairs are so comfortable so you can really enjoy your experience there. My pedicure was wonderful. They have a large selection of polishes. They offer all nail service as well as specialty pedicures. They are a full spa that offer massages, reflexology, body wraps, facials, waxing and threading, eye enhancement, and full hair services.  The prices are very fair you won't be disappointed.  The staff here are all friendly and  professional they wear uniforms   which gives the place a very spa feeling. As I was leaving I decided to get my eye brows threaded, Miche did a fabulous job.
