The girl who did my hair was extremely unprofessional (Rebecca) - she was wearing pajamas and slippers and was nonstop on her phone. I asked for a full set of highlights and a short trim. What she gave me was bleach strips through my hair so now it's a brass color and looks awful and unnatural. She couldn't find her 'shears' so she grabbed a random pair of regular scissors and went to cut my hair but I stopped her. Absolutely the worst hair experience in my life. If it wasn't for Katie (who did an absolutely amazing job on my nails) I would have just cancelled and left. Even the owner came in and couldn't make a positive comment on the hair job but didn't do anything to fix it either. Great place! My cousin and I came here to get our hair done and we couldn't be happier. Jenny took the time to consult with us about our hair like the length and the color expectations and such before she even did anything. I have never been to such a dirty salon. The lady doing my nails was really nice but wasn't so good at doing her job... she forgot to file one of my toe nails. When I walked in it smelled like home with old food inside of for a while, the floor was very dirty, the towels and even the equipments that she used to do my nails. I'm sure they are sanitized. Found this place on Yelp, was def excited to find a place nearby with good reviews. First impressions weren't great. The place was kinda run down. It was messy. I was debating whether or not I should walk away. I decided to give the place the benefit of the doubt and stayed. Most of the associates were on their phones and even the tech that was giving me my pedicure was on the phone for about 10 mins into the procedure. I asked for a regular mani/pedi, but was told that a gel was around the same price, so I went for it. The tech gave me a great pedicure even though the seats were uncomfortable and a little awkward. My manicure came out great. Overall, the tech did a great job but she was saying that she was leaving to another salon cause she didn't get paid enough here. Again, a little unprofessional in my opinion. All in all, I received a good mani/pedi and the associates were friendly. I've been coming here every 2 weeks for about 2 years already. The upside: The shop is cute and Kimberly is absolutely the best nail tech ever!! Super sweet, great with designs, takes her time, and the list just goes on and on!! Great prices as well, gel mani with regular pedi for $35! You really can't beat it. After the terrible service I received from a previous salon, I was a tad scared. I walked in, Priscilla was waiting for me, and quickly got to it! Nice pedi and nice convo! When it was time for my mani, Priscilla did a terrific job! She handed me over to Kim for my nail art....which I appreciate the honesty in knowing that's not her specialty. THE GOOD :First off Kimberly rocks 5******. She's the best hands down!  She takes her time and makes you feel comfortable. Her method of doing the Manicures is awesome !! I love her :) I've been going to sweet life  nails and spa for about a now month.THE BAD:My second time visiting the experience was horrible! !!! However Kim saves the day! I recently booked with Kim and received the gel manicure and regular pedicure. My toe messed up, so I went back to get it fixed.  I get there the NEXT DAY and the COLOR IS GONE . I came here for the fist time after finding it on Yelp.  I needed a last minute mani/pedi and saw if you checked in on Yelp the combo was $30 which seemed reasonable to me.I was attended to right away on a Friday afternoon.  The young girl started with a pedi which came out pretty well despite the fact that it was obvious she was new to this job.  The chairs are more like living room chairs which were comfortable but you have to put your foot up in the tech's lap which was awkward and  not relaxing at all. Then we started on the gel mani.  This took so long that by the time we got to the actual polishing part, an older tech had to come over and pretty much take over.  I am completely understanding of training new tech's but it was obvious this girl was not comfortable with clients yet.I left with semi ok nails and was happy with my pedi however.......four days later the gel, which is supposed to last longer than a typical mani, I mean that is why it's more expensive correct?.....on each nail the entire gel polish began coming off one by one.  Ive never had this happen so soon after a gel manicure.Here it is less than a week later and I have to go spend another $30 for them to be redone.I probably will not give this place another try. I really wanted to like this place, but my experience was less than satisfactory.My usual nail salon was booked out for the day, so I wanted to give this place a try, although it was a little out of the way for me. I bought a Groupon for a gel mani/pedi. I made my appointment and even showed up 10 minutes earlier. I arrive to find my assigned technician with another client. (Pretty annoying, but I didn't make a big deal out of it). Another technician, (Giovanna I believe was her name?) took me instead. While she was extremely friendly, she took FOREVER. It literally took her 3 1/2 to complete my service. The pedicure took so long that my feet became pruny. In the 12 years that I've been going nail salons, I've never spent so much time in one - mind you, the place was not very busy at all. I did come to find that it was her first day and she had just graduated beauty school, so I tried to cut her a little slack. Until...this happened:After spending literally half my day in the salon, 2 hours later - three of my nails peeled off. Did I mention these were GEL? I figured since she took her sweet time, I'd have an everlasting manicure - which was certainly NOT the case. Not only did my entire day go to waste, but so did my money.I will not be back. Read Less
