I work very close to this Venetian Nail studio and because I usually go to the Coral Springs Venetian Nail, I thought it would be fine to visit this location. I scheduled my appointment 8 hours in advance however, when I got there, I waited a half hour. The reason being they only have a few nail techs who can do "dip". I scheduled my appointment 8 hours in advance and I was on time so I'm not sure why I needed to wait. After waiting a half hour, I finally received my pedicure, then I was left to sit another 10 minutes for my nails. I was pleased once the service was done however, after a week and half my nails are chipping and coming off. Typically when I get the dip done my nails will last 4 weeks, that's why I'm willing to pay more for the dip and why I was willing to wait, however now that my nails are already destroyed, I must leave a very disappointing review. $40 for powder is not competitive.  Very overpriced.  $5-10 more than everywhere else. Well, let me let you in on the mystery of what happens to Non-Vietnamese speaking customers. The nail techs at this salon TALK TRASH about their customers!!! Anie was my nail tech on 11/25/17. She has been my regular nail tech for quite a period of time. I have been a good customer tipping her over 20%.... She was unaware that my Sister-In-Law is half-Vietnamese and is fluent. She was visiting for the Thanksgiving holiday. So this was the first time, she came to the salon with me. We were sitting at different tables so Anie and her co-conspirator had no idea I had a family member in the salon. These 2 sat in front of me smiling and laughing while calling me FAT. When my S-I-L confronted them in Vietnamese. One of them ran to the back while Anie looked nervous. When she finished my manicure, she rushed me to the back to work on my polish change on my toes. I asked her what she was talking about. She said, "I told her you were in a very bad car accident (it has been almost 2 years and I have severe neurological issues)." She takes me in the back for an eyebrow wax, and when asked again about what she said. This time, her story changed. She said, "The other lady said you looked like me. Your S-I-L doesn't understand Vietnamese." My SIL spoke to the manager in FLUENT Vietnamese. She explained the entire situation. Yet, the woman manager refused to reprimand these 2 employees. When my SIL demanded the cowards come from the back, Anie was calling my SIL a Liar in Vietnamese. The only one who is a LIAR is Anie. If you want to pay money for services, overly tip employees who smile and laugh @ you while speaking Vietnamese, and INSULT YOU, then go to the Venetian Nail Spa @ Gulfstream. Unprofessional but she isn't my tech so I didn't even bother. Keep reading because this gets juicier.. she THEN goes to my sister in laws table and sits with Anie (the tech) and starts talking to her as she works on my SIL nails. They both start talking in Vietnamese in front of my SIL and then I HEAR because I'm fluent!! One girl says "her face is like yours" while Anie says "no way! Her face is too FAT to be like mine!" While looking at my sister in law!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bruhhhh... I shut them up real quick! I scolded out to them directly "shut up be professional and you have NO right to talk to my sister in law that way!" In Vietnamese. The whole salon hears me. They are now shocked and quiet. The manager runs to them and tells them not to speak in Vietnamese no more because I am fluent. I'm super pissed and shaking from anger (Sorry Tan!) my SIL and husband still has no idea what's going on by the way. The other girl who instigated ran to go hide in the back now like a coward because she KNEW she done messed with the wrong girl! The manager STILL has not come up to me to apologize or anything. (Great customer service! Sike!) Anie whisks my Sister in Law to the pedicure chair and away from me because she knows what's going to happen when I tell her. She proceeds to tell my Sister in law and husband that she didn't say anything about her at all. Also that I don't understand Vietnamese at all because I'm mixed. (Excuse me?!) while waxing my SIL now she changes up her story, (as liars do!) she stated that she was talking to the other girl about my Sister in laws accident which left her with permanent nerve damage (even why I'm more pissed) and continues to say that I misunderstood and I don't understand Vietnamese at all. I maybe born in the states and I am mixed but my Vietnamese is fluent!!!When we were ready to check out Anie avoided me and the manager avoided me. They thought wrong! I told the manager straight up that I was disgusted about how her employees acted disrespectful and unprofessional while showing no remorse in their actions. (-side note, I've been doing nails for about 10 years- my parents and families own salons as well so I know the ins and outs) the managers excuse is that the two girls ALWAYS do this even though she tells them not to. NOT GOOD ENOUGH! I told her it is only fair that my SIL gets her manicure for free because that was when the incident happened. I COULD'VE asked for her whole tab to be FREE but I'm fair and a service is a service. The manager didn't even want that. So this is when I do what is necessary. I LET THE NAIL SALON KNOW! In English, I stated that THIS employee is talking about her customers to their face in Vietnamese! (Because everyone wonders what they're saying when the client gets their nails done, let's be honest) this is when Anie proceeds to tell me (in Vietnamese so the customers can't understand) she called me a liar, said I didn't understand Vietnamese at all, and that I'm super rude. Whelp, this wouldn't have to go down like this if YOU acted professional! When this happens is when the manager FINALLY agreed to my terms. They know they messed up and yet they still try to deny it, they didn't try to make me feel better as a client and they really gave nail salons a bad name. It's embarrassing as a Nail tech that I actually witnessed this in person myself. To stop this from happening again I really encourage this salon to crack down on speaking Vietnamese in front of customers. Fire one of the two girls to set an example and break the chain so nobody can do that again. Nail techs are replaceable but clients and customers will never come back AND word of mouth is like wildfire. Good luck to this business because I hope all the ladies in there that day KNOWS that was not right what they did, as a nail tech AND business. WORTHLESS & DISCRIMINATING place. I called today to make an appointment for a pedicure and was told that today was "walk-in" ONLY policy. So, I went , put my name on the list and waited. 45 minutes later, a woman whose name was right after mine gets an employee to come and escort her to the pedicure chairs. I asked the manager why was that happening. His answer was that this lady "made an appointment".  On a walk in only policy day?  Needless to write, I walked out and will make sure to pass the word on how discriminating this place is. Also: the place has a sign on the door that reads "internet is down, cash only please". Do I trekked back to the ATM to get cash. While I was waiting for my turn that never came, I saw an employee come to the front desk to run a charge with a customer's credit card. The sign should have read " no debit card, credit or cash only". This matter will be addressed with the Better Business Bureau as it reeks of discrimination as well. Read Less

I've been going to the Venetian Nail Spa in Hallandale Beach for the last 6 years. Unfortunately I noticed it's been changing for the worse. Two weeks ago I went for mani and pedi and a young guy helped me as the lady who always did my nails left. I cannot remember his name but he was very rude and seemed to be in a rush to finish. I not only was unhappy with the way he did my nails but the ambiance was terrible. After this experience I won't go back to this place anymore. Waste of time and money. Read Less

I got the Venetian pedicure from Kelly and OMG she is awesome. I had an appointment but they were able to take me earlier. Sat down and pick out my color and Kelly offered me wine. HELLOOOOO WINNING! She did an amazing job and she was really friendly. I don't know how people have wrote such bad reviews about this place because everything I experienced today was awesome. The ambiance was nice def relaxing and not as busy as I would have assumed for a Friday night. All in all it's a lil more pricey than others but they really do a good job. I will be back. Read Less

This is in reply to Alissa W.This salon most certainly does sterilize ALL equipment. You are so wrong to say they do not sterilize pedicure equipment...right down to covering the baths with fresh plastic liners for each client.  ALL of their "tools" are sterilized the best way possible, using a surgical autoclave, just like all medical/dental tools are sterilized.You may be a disgruntled customer for other reasons but to make such a false claim that they do not sterilize is simply 100% wrong!  That is the primary reason I go there...find another place that sterilizes to the lengths they go to & let us all know!Just setting the accurate record straight! I read the reviews before going and I hesitated a bit, but let me tell you I was happy I went with my gut and came here! The reviews don't do this place justice. I came with my mom for Mother's Day and they treated us amazingly. My mom did a mani pedi and got her eyebrows waxed; I just did a pedi. They constantly ask you if your comfortable if the water is ok if the pressure of the massage is good and they offered us water or wine! My mom was super happy and she gets her nails done all the time she told me loved the attention and asked me how much I paid because she will start coming here from now on. Of course I didn't tell her all I said is that it wasn't expensive. I agreed my toes were done great and she looked and felt amazing! Good choice coming here! Read Less

I've gone to Venetian Spa for over 7 years and this location was the worst. I paid $130 for my partner, daughter and myself. To find out my partner received a horrible service. The employee was rude throughout she acted as if she didn't want to be there. She kept asking what color, meidiorce nail job. I called the following day to speak to the manager his response was "I'll speak to her so it doesn't happen again and I'll fire her." I replied how about having someone else redo the what your employee failed to do for my partner and don't fire her train her in customer service and what is to provide exceptional service especially to a customer who's been coming to our business for the past 7 years and spent $130 + tip. Worst place they don't sterilize the pedicure equipment I used Annie and she refused to take the dead skin off my feet. Everything was an extra charge for a $25 pedicure that isn't that cheap for an Asian nail salon. For $37 for your upgrade I could go to a nice hygienic spa. Why would I ever come back to this nasty 1 star place that deserves 1 star in Yelp. Worse they speak about you in Vietnamese !!!! When I asked the lady Amie to please take the dead skin off my feet she started for sure talking about me to the lady working next to her. So unprofessional and btw this place has the worst reviews. It has definitely gone down hill over the past few years.FYI The tackiest thing of it all was a HUGE sign by the nail polish you break it you buy it. Then they had the same sign by the register. **edit: The service here has progressively gotten worse. Tan, Linda and a few of the others have HORRIBLE customer service. The owner or manager or whom ever is rude and very nonchalant. Today (as a matter of fact I'm writing the review in the waiting area) Linda was doing my little cousins nails, while filing she buffed her thumb real rough and she BLED! Instead of telling me (the adult) she goes and tries to cover it up with the clear base polish. WTF?! After I told the manager they brushed me off and said I'll call her back. She gives me a half ass apology then returns with neosporin. Where am I going to put it? Over the nail polish?! 🖕🏾I would not recommend this place at all. It's horrible. Go to Blush Nails in the Oakwood Plaza. Much better and cheaper. Since I've moved down from Sunrise in May 2014 (went to Plantation Venetian) I haven't been any where else. I can't! Moving to a new area requires you to find all new everything. A nail spa is no exception, I tried to find a spot on my own, but after being disappointed with the location I found I had to ask around. My manager has gorgeous nails and I asked her where she usually gets her nails done. She told me Venetian Nails, so I looked them up on yelp of course.I found this location close to my house and made a beeline to the spa. The place was packed but for good reason. I waited maybe 10 minutes and was in a massage chair in no time. I received a mani/pedi with gel polish as will as my eyebrows waxed. Diana was my technician and I will always go back to her! She is super friendly very good at shaping and cleaning my nails. She literally had to fix everything the precious salon did to my toes and she actually thought it had been a long time since my last pedicure. It had only been 3 weeks! My hand and feet are gorgeous, I've received so many compliments and I love staring at my nails as well. I'm very pleased with this nail spa and will always come back to them. Read Less

Don't waste your money! After I called twice asking for an appointment and confirming the price (60$) for nails and toes gel polish.... when I had to pay they charged me 90$ !!!! Johanny hurt one of my toes and "cut" one of my other completally uneven. She said: " it will grow" 😳 Please, I read the reviews and I decided to give them a chance.... you don't need it. Horrible customer service!I had my nails done here two nights ago and the guy did a bad job. Yesterday I had no time to return so I came back today with proof that I was there.Instead of trying to fix my nails they told me I had to give them the name of the guy who did it. When I couldn't they wanted me to look around the store. There were three others but not that guy. In the end they just ignored me while I stood there still waiting for apologies and with nails that could have been fixed within 3 min by somebody else. Read Less
