When I walked in the lady did not even welcome me she just rudely said "sign in" like with attitude. When i got there some teenager just like me was getting her eyebrows done she was like her own race Irab or Indian and she treated her really nice took her time doing her eyebrows and when it was my turn she was really rude, did my eyebrows like in less I'm 3 minutes. That's pretty unprofessional and pretty rude. When it was time to pay since it was my first time there I asked how much and she said 12 rude like with attitude and I give her the money and I say thank you have a nice day and she didn't even reply she threw the card like with the information of the shop. If you have thin eyebrows don't go here. The lady took a small chunk off o the corner of the eyebrow and told me to just color it in and when I was pointing it out she acted like she couldn't notice it. I have very fine, light eyebrows which I don't bother coloring in with makeup as part of my daily beauty regimen because I know I'll sweat the applied color out in the Florida humidity. It was time to get my brows threaded anyways, but I have a friend who gets her brows tinted, so I got the idea to do it from her. But I was so scared of it coming out too dark, because anything other than my hair color looks like scary dark unnatural in-your-face brows, and I didn't want that.... Since I'd been to Simky's for threading before, I figured I'd get them threaded by the best and then tint at home on my own. Not only did Simky clean and shape my natural brows beautifully, she tinted them to match my natural hair color (dark ash blonde-light ash brown) and they don't look overdone at all on my makeup-free face. I went into this salon with platinum blonde healthy hair. I had an appointment with their "top" stylist Sarah. I showed her a picture of a platinum blonde with small lowlights and heavy blonde highlights. I wanted some dimension in my hair and I walked out an ashy brunette. She insisted it looked just like the picture! She would not own up that she made a mistake. She pulled dark brown throughout my entire head. Not only did I walk out in tears and a wet head, They made me pa...y $200 for my hair to be ruined. It is now severely damaged. They even charged me for a $35 blow dry even though I walked out with wet hair. She never said she would try and fix it, she just continued saying it is lighter than the picture. The other stylists knew she screwed up and did not want to say anything. I am a licensed Cosmetologist and never have I experienced something so far from what I wanted. If you want professional salon quality hair color, go somewhere else. The only thing you'll get is super dark roots and beach waves because thats the only style they can do. I wouldn't wish my current hair on my worst enemy. Don't believe the wonderful Instagram posts they put on social media either. What you are seeing is NOT the end result. The experience was AWFUl. They ruined my daughters beautiful blonde hair and damaged it. She wanted to stay a blonde and walked out a ashy brunette for $200. She was also charged for a $35 blow-dry that she did not receive. The stylists may seem educated and amazing on social media, but it is far from the truth. WARNING CUSTOMERS Do not use this threading salon , they use polyester sewing thread to thread eyebrows when they are suppose to be using 100℅ cotton on skin. The owner knows this but would rather be cheap than offer her customers quality threading. The owner herself turned me down when I came in with my own cotton thread I bought at a beauty store saying "I do not know how to use this."
