Currently typing this with one thumb since my other one is swollen. I’ve been to this salon twice but only for fill ins but this time it was a full set and I’m regretting it so much. The guy cut me so badly & now my thumb is infected and i’m in so much pain. I don’t even thing their equipment is clean. Avoid Mike, he is very careless and lazy with his work. Then I went to see what they can do & they started justifying the injury but not owning up to the bad work done. Now I have to buy medicine for it & work with a swollen thumb. Read Less

Before I start with the Negitive part of this review let me start with the positive side. I have used their service 2x. They were very nice and polite and made everyone feel comfortable. The first day to 2 days later, my nails looked good. However, the first time I went I was tired and not paying much attention to the equipment...The second time I was certain that the nail tech did not use sanitized equipment nor did she open a new package. Both times I requested gel polish in which I paid extra for...both times within a week my nails chipped severely and both times 2 of my nails broke. That should not happen EVER with gel polish. The second time I told the nail tech to please be sure to use a GOOD top coat that my nail polish should last no less than 2 weeks. Guess what? 4 days later my polish chipped horribly. Upon having my polish removed this week at another shop I had to have my acrylic overlay that Basic Nails used removed because it was severly discolored and should not be a yellowish brown after just having them done. My Guess is they use cheap acrylic and 5 and dime polish. Sorry when I spend 50.00 on my nails I expect my polish to last 2 + weeks! I also expect you to use decent acrylic and sanitary equipment!!! I would dive from poinciana to Haines city just to do my nails with Liz she was not able when I came in so wient with Samantha what a big mistake she wanted to do my hands and feet her way even doe I was paying for the service not happy oh I guess I won't have to make the drive anymore Read Less

Just got my nails done by Phon and I love them! I have only been getting my nails done for the last month & a half. Of the 3 nails places I've been to, she has done the best job. There were a few times it pinched my skin but overall fantastic job! The place was clean and everyone seemed nice! I'd definitely go back and try a pedicure! Read Less

I am from Canada and needed my nails filled. I chose Basic Nails because it was close to where I was staying. I am VERY pleased with how they turned out. Staff was friendly and clean and the overall environment was exceptional. I recommend going! 5/5 for sure! Read Less
