My daughter & her friend went in Sunday, Dec 4. Both girls are 18 years old. My daughter needed two acrylic repairs, a fill on her acrylic nails & her friend wanted a gel manicure. The guy that did my daughter's nails was wearing a tee shirt with a bar code on it that said, "check me out." As he was walking towards the table, her friend made a comment about his tee shirt & my daughter glanced up to look at his shirt when he snapped at her asking, "What are you looking at?" It went downhill from there. Both men were rude, made crass comments to the girls, made them feel uncomfortable, and their polish jobs look like a 3 year old did them. It was beyond terrible service. Perhaps it was because they were teenagers, that the men felt they could get away with such bad service, but I assure you, those girls had cash to spend & no matter what the age, every customer should get great service & have a good experience. The kid (he is a giggly teenage boy) doing my pedicure didn't remove any calluses until I requested. Then he did it for about 30 seconds very lightly. The foot massage I desperately needed was non-existent; he spent a couple minutes rubbing lotion on my calves, but he literally spent 60 seconds on each foot. He used not a single bit of effort! I made an appointment with one lady for eyelash extensions and she told me that only the manager can do them and she was coming on Wednesday. So I made the appointment for Wednesday morning. Tuesday afternoon somebody gives me a phone call, not the first lady from before, telling me that the owner won't be able to do eyelash extensions on Wednesday. Now why didn't the first lady tell me that when I was making the appointment? This nail lounge has so many one star reviews and complaints, do you think that at this point they would get their business running a little bit better. Do not go here. I had a terrible experience that is taking forever to get over. I had a pedicure. The worker was the older Asian woman. She asked me what my nationality was, and I told her I am from Gulf Breeze. She did not like my answer so she got a bottle of something that I did not recognize and painted my left big toe nail with it. I thought it was something to make the polish stay on, but it ate through my toenail all the way to my skin splitting my nail in half. I did not know it till I removed my polish. She also tried to use old files that were not sanitized on my daughter. When I told her it was not sanitary and that she needed a fresh one, she got pissed again. They do NOT use sanitary files, or anything else. They do not wear gloves, and they do not use fresh water to soak your feet. Don't go there!!! Read Less

The tech didn't ask what type of pedicure I wanted just assumed I wanted the "basic". He rushed through my "basic" pedicure and made me feel like I was holding him up. All other workers were cleaning not just their own station but where myself and other customers were still being worked on. It was very distracting and I wasn't able to enjoy myself because I felt so rushed it could have clearly waited until closing time they still had an hour left until they closed. I go to Nail Lounge frequently. I have had hit and miss service, that's why the rating is a 3. Some of the males have been far too rough on my cuticles and have caused some bleeding. The nail techs are great with little ones---my nieces go all the time and they are very sweet to them. It's been hit and miss on offering drinks, but the last visit I noticed new receptionists who seemed on top of it, so that was refreshing. During my last visit, the back area where they do the manicures was quite dirty. A male tech was actually clipping his toe nails a couple of chairs down from where I was getting my manicure, just using the same tools and all on himself from that station. It looked really unprofessional. Behind the UV "bar" by the manicure chairs was quite dirty as well. My service was okay and my nails looked good but I made two appts for 9am and the staff was late. So my sister in laws started 15 mins late and mine started 35 mins late. No one ever apologized for not being on time... My tech barely spoke to me... And TBH I was just really disappointed that no one even mentioned how late they were or seemed to be bothered by the fact that they put us so far behind schedule. And somehow even though mine started over a half an hour behind hers... I was done less than 10 mins behind her... So did we get the same attentive service? I was pleased to be able to be seen the same afternoon I requested an appointment for full thigh and bikini wax, but I soon learned why.The clinician first gave me a very bewildered look when I stated I wanted the full thigh waxed asking "you know how much that will cost?!"  She then took very small pieces of lanolin and waxed about 4 square inches at a time... so it took 45 minutes (which normally only take 20 minutes in experienced locations).  She also pulled in the direction of the hair in many locations, left A LOT of unwaxed hair on the inner thigh, and a bruise in my left leg crease.  I had to ask her to remove the extra hairs, which she attempted, but was not successful because she kept pulling with the hair, not against.  I gave up.  After waxing she put baby powder on my skin which stuck to all of the wax still on my skin, then put oil on over the baby power which created a paste.  She told me to just go home and take a shower to remove it all.  I sat on paper in my car so I wouldn't leave wax on my car seat.  I voiced my disappointment and was given a discount on the waxing services, which I appreciated.As an aside, the walls, floors and baseboards could use a good cleaning. I am writing to tell everyone considering this place to think twice! I went in today for a pedi and right away I knew I should have turned around as soon as I walked in. No one smiled AT ALL, it was a very unwelcoming atmosphere. I proceeded to the pedi chairs and about 3 minutes later or so a man came to start my pedi. He didn't ask me ANYTHING. I assume he did not speak english because he never talked only poked on my feet to prompt me to put my feet in the water or out the water. He was also sick and was wiping his nose with his arm the entire time! He gave me a 10 second massage , NO scrub, and barely made it through polishing my toes which I had to go home and fix. So 19 minutes later that was the amount of time from start to finish including payment , which I left NO TIP! , I paid and left and sat in my car and cried. I called the manager as I sat in my car and told her the whole story her name is Jenny, and she DID NOT care! I told her I wanted my money back so I could go get an actual pedi service somewhere else. She said no that I could come back right then and someone else would perform a whole new pedi. I told her there was NO way I was coming back in there nor would I EVER return there. She was rude and unhelpful. Went here to get a manicure and was immediatelytreated badly after I told them I wanted a regular manicure with no gel and no acrylics. The tried to convince me to get gel over and over but after I told them I was 100% not getting gel, the pointed me to a seat. My nails were painted awfully, and the lady sliced my finger. After finishing, I went to the counter and told them I couldnt pay $17 for the job they had done, and they were extremely rude, but offered to fix it. As she was putting a new coat of paint on she was telling me to relax time after time. They were rude, my nails were AWFUL, and the paint peeled off the next day. Would not recommend this place. I had lash extensions done on Saturday for my daughter's wedding this Wednesday. However I need one eye fixed as its twice as full as the other eye. I was even willing to pay service again to have it fixed properly and quickly. We were never offered a drink (even though our nail package said it came with a complimentary glass of wine or champagne) and when asked about someone going ahead of us, we were met with an attitude from the woman in charge. My Gf and I came in from out of town (we live in Texas) in desperate need of a pedicure. Just stopped at the first place we saw. Absolutely loved our experience. We got the house pedicures in Mango with Cindy and Julie. Was surprised to see only 2.5 stars when I decided to leave a review. We were greeted right away and sat down as soon as we picked our colors! On Memorial Day Weekend- I expected to have at least a few minute wait. Driving by my friend and I decided to pop in for a pedi and a mani, we should have kept driving....The price and services do not seem to match. We weren't really greeted well when we arrived but heard the receptionist complaining to an employee about how he said her name. He didn't make a fuss he just said okay then lucky me got to go with him to get my nails done. I asked for a manicure and usually this involves lotion and a massage-I got neither... "Do you want your nails short like I like them or what" Me: "umm not too short" I got a stare down... "or whatever"... He cut them okay, a little short and 2 were uneven but it was okay. He also didn't get all the way to the edge of all my nails with the polish, it was hit and miss...anyway, next time we will probably go somewhere else....somewhere with less drama and a little cheaper. If I could give no stars I would. This place was the most expensive nail salon I've used and the worst service. The tech didn't speak English and cut my nails too short. All my nails, fingers and toes, hurt for 3 days.  They were more concerned about getting me in and out than doing a good job. I paid 77.00 for this and will never recommend it to anyone. Avoid this salon at all costs. FYI to the owners, the man walking around yelling at the staff was just rude and I wanted to tell him they weren't indentured servants and to knock off the brutish behavior. Read Less

I have acrylic nails with French manicure. I asked for the light pink powder as is looks more realistic than the dark pink. When I walked into natural light you can see it has glitter in it, which makes it look cheap. The nails are uneven, extremely thick, and they put a gel coat on, but it isn't shiny. BEWARE!! This place was so bad considering the hype their sister salon in Pensacola has. Maybe the one in Pensacola is better but this salon was closer to home and newer. Let me put it this way...I have gotten my mom and I pedicures and full sets (gel or shellac) for years...and I thought this would be a great place to go. Nope. The ppl are so-so friendly..but the one thing that ticked me off was their technique (lack their of) and lack of paying attention. Pedicure- I got my mom the best pedicure they had and being detail oriented like me, we know what the best pedicure feels like (had them in Seattle)...I wasn't asking for the best but to do an above average job. They couldn't even do that! They didn't get all the callous and dry skin off my moms foot, and they cut her toe nail too short and it started to bleed a bit:( BIG NO NO!!! After they applied the iodine, they finished up the pedi, which seemed rushed and didn't care to pay attention to my mom and what she said! They just wanted to talk to their friends! Plus the polish NEVER dried because they used and OLD color and top coat! Any nail tech should know better than to do that!! Full set- my mom had an acrylic set and I did the shellac...it was horrible from beginning to end! Surface of nails were not smooth from side to side (no smooth C curve) it was bumpy!! Same with mine! There was place where there was too much product and other places where it was too thin! The same thing happened with the polish! OLD polish and top coat that never dried!! I usually am a big tipper and spare no expense when getting my nails done, but forget us ever spending another penny in that place! They all need to a) be more professional with clients and not LIE about prices b) go back to school again! c) don't do it for the money!
