My daughter's and myself have been going to this salon since it opened about 17 years ago. It's had three different ownersin that time frame. THERE IS AIR CONDITIONING!! They sometimes turn it off and open the doors when the weather is nice. You aren't paying for atmosphere. They all do a great job and are very friendly for a fair price. The turn over of employees in very low. Since they take walk-ins, you need to be flexible. I've NEVER seen dirty paraffin wax and they always sanitize everything between clients. I've have been witness to people who walk in and are very, very rude to the employees, come in a week later and want repairs for free, demand discounts for no polish on a manicure...the list goes on, which probably explains some of these reviews. Not the cleanest place but pedis include paraffin wax and a nice leg and foot massage. Manis include a nice arm and hand massage. They do good work 99% of the time. The exception is when they have someone new but it seems that isn't often. Wish they would put tv on non news, non Vietnamese channels. Read Less

I have been coming here for over 10 yrs. I have never had a problem. The store could use a good cleaning and a.c. but people are nice and friendly. I tried the place across the street next to park lane and first visit I got an infection in my toes and had to go to the ER. So this place gets 3 stars just because after so long I never had an issue. They also have great artist who can do designs on your toes. My fav. Read Less

Experience was a 3 only because the place wasn't kept up and the employees weren't personable. My nails came out great, aside from that! Wasn't expensive at all. I hope they (in the near future) use profits to fix the place up. It would surely help increase customers and the reviews wouldn't be so harsh  you have to realize that 90% of the time ONLY angry customers are going to write a review because they want "revenge". They should close this nail salon. I would give it zero stars but that's still not an option. I walked in and waited for five minutes and not one single person said may I help you. I'm confused did they think I came in here to observe.. After standing there in my opinion far too long I decided this place isn't worth the aggravation. It was hot in there and they have very few seats if you need to wait. Save yourself some time and go to Venus nails in Haile Plaza. Read Less

I have been getting my nails done at Royal Nails since I was in high school. The current staff (four people) are all very nice. The place itself needs work. They haven't updated it in years and it needs a good cleaning. My nails always look amazing when I leave and I know they clean their tools. I've gotten most services; pedicure, manicure, acrylics, pink and whites, gel and my eyebrows waxed. I would not recommend eyebrow waxing here, but I personally just don't like how she does it. This place is great for the price. I have only had gel nails done there twice, but they have done a fantastic job both times. The gel they use never chips and I wash my hands frequently with work and only have them done every two and a half to three weeks. The shop could use some tidying up, but I've seen them wash the tools so that's what's important. Read Less

Not very friendly. Over priced and VERY filthy! Pedicures were good except paraffin wax was dirty and everyone puts their feet in it. I passed on that. Gel polish job was bad. I asked her to get it closer to edges, she made excuse and didnt do it. It still looks like I need a fill. I won't be back. Read Less

This salon is FILTHY!  And I mean FILTHY!  I found them to be unfriendly, rude, and way overpriced. The pedicures we got were good, but they wanted me to put my feet in paraffin wax that was obviously dirty and the customer before me stuck his feet in same wax. As did the customer before him and before him and probably to infinity and beyond.  I declined.  The gel fill and polish was terrible.  It looks like I still need a fill!  I asked the "tech", and I use that word loosely, to get the edges and the bottom closer with the polish.  She said she couldn't, it would get on my skin and couldn't be cleaned off.  She wasn't even close.  I 100% will never go back and I hope you heed this advice and stay away! After having an absolutely horrible experience the first time, I figured I would give it another try since they are so close to my home. They gave me clearly an inexperienced nail tech (possibly the owners young daughter). After charging me $30 for a fill in, this is how my nails turned out!! I told her I was unhappy with the way they came out. And that the whole reason why I got my nails done was so they could look nice for a wedding!! She said, "fine, you want them fixed, you stay." I told her that I already spent over two hours there and will be coming back tomorrow or the next day to have them fixed! Read Less

I soaked for an hour, which took way to long. Asked for a towel to dry my own feet off. Ask if I could at least get the polish removed, since their was not time for the pedi. and they charged me sitting in the massage chair to wait on them $5 and $3 to remove my polish which was already peeling from the hour soak. They suck really bad at customer service and then started with attitudes and speaking in their language rudely. I will never go back and plan to instruct everyone else I know to never visit this nail shop, not to mention the cleanliness, which was also poor, I had time to look. Read Less
