Probably the best nail salon I have been to in Gainesville. The staff is friendly and a takes their time to make sure your nails look great. I think the prices are some of the best in Gainesville as well, but like most of the other nail salons, beware of hidden charges. I was charged $8 more than the listed price. This was the first time that me and my sister got our nails done here and we were not impressed with the work that was done. The appearance of it is very nice however the type of work done is not impressive at all they did not even use the great to get the dead skin off the bottom of our feet that only use the pumice stone and they did not spend more than a minute massaging our legs and the nail polish job was horrible you can still see the streets in the line and the top coat was not as shiny as it normally is when I go to any other place. The other person with me got a overlay over the regular nails and they did not even peel off the dead skin around her fingers and the Polish job on that was horrible as you can see in the pictures. TERRIBLE PLACE, DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY! I got my nails done here and the lady painted over my cuticles and put an ugly color on my nails. When I went back to get them fixed because everyone kept asking if I did them myself, they tried to charge me for it. The woman who did my nails was extremely rude and so disrespectful. This was the first time that I have gotten a manicure and pedicure. So, I can't compare it to any other place. I thought the staff was wonderful. My daughter and I were walk-ins and they took us immediately. I thought that they had a wide selection of colors. So many colors it was hard to choose. There was a language barrier between the manicurist and me. Occasionally, my daughter's manicurist had to help. Everything seemed to be very clean and was so comfortable! So I've been going here, and while the service is good, I somehow have to pay more and more for the same service. I thought it said that gel was $5 extra but they said it was $10. I didn't mind, some places go that high, but they said that my full set was $25 and my gel was $10 and my wax was $8. Somehow they said I owed them $48, but if you do the math correctly, it was only supposed to be $43. $5 isn't that much of a difference, but it's getting tiring how they're continuously upcharging and trying to be sneaky about it. Nails on the other hand not so good, I had half my nails pop off by 4 days after getting my nails done , the first nail popped off the next day and they repaired it and two others for free, but when I called to let them know four more popped off on the fourth day after my nails were done they said they would have to charge me for the repair.. It's a nice salon, very clean, and the service was perfectly adequate. The polish they use, however, is very low quality. I actually noticed that many customers who came in while I was getting my pedicure said they brought their own polish, when told to pick a color, but I didn't think much of it until 3 days later when the polish on both my hands and feet was chipping off. The manicure is extremely overpriced for the quality. I was bleeding on 2 cuticles at the end and one of my nails had a black mark from the top coat. I came here because when opening their website, an ad popped up that said if you wrote a review you'd get $5 off at checkout. There was no expiration date on the coupon, it just said "this month". Being that it's late January, I assumed they were talking about January. However, when I tried to pay, they said the coupon expired. Mind you, this manicure was $17 before the coupon and before tip. This is $5 more than the average price of a manicure in Gainesville. Had they taken down this coupon in DECEMBER which is when it supposedly expired, I never would have come here. The best nail salon in town! I go here frequently & am always treated warmly. The place gets busy at certain times but the staff goes out of their way to accommodate. Once I left & noticed I had chipped some of the polish on the way out. I went back after a couple of days & they fixed it for me no charge. The staff is friendly, the place is very hygienic & meets the industry requirements (proper ventilation, plastic liner inside pedicure tubs, etc). I went with my teenage daughter for her birthday. They said they could seat us together if one got a pedi and one a mani but they actually meant for us to be shouting across the room so we switched to both mani even though I was in a cast with a broken finger.The mani I got was okay but ridiculously fast. The smell of the crappy moisturizer was unbearable. The two manicurists spoke English but ignored us and gossiped about us in Vietnamese. It was very uncomfortable. My manicurist kept looking at her friend and not my hands.  She clipped a hunk of skin on my broken finger and didn't notice. I told her it was bleeding and she just dumped stinging stuff on it a few times as if she was used to being so careless. She was just not at all gentle to my poor broken hand.I woke up with throbbing pain in the middle of the night. The finger was infected. I'm never going there again. I could not see those reassuring bottles of clean equipment. I had to get my hand checked out to make sure it wasn't infected.My daughters mani lasted 3 days and we both chose Opi nail polish. DO NOT GO HERE! I will begin with the positives of the salon. It is close to where I live and has nice decorations. Two things that are irrelevant to the nail service I requested. I went to the salon to have a gel manicure removed and to receive a new gel manicure. The technician butchered my nails during the process of removing the gel manicure. She was poorly trained and unapologetic. A simple process of wrapping my nails in acetone turned into losing half of my nails and leaving with large cuts and nicks. The process of removing the gel was very painful and ruined my once beautiful nails. I was so upset I would not allow her to proceed with painting my nails. I left the salon with nails that were broken, torn, peeling and bruised. WARNING! The salon does not have any technician or salon licenses displayed. Sketchy. Read Less

I've lived in Gainesville for over five years and I have never been to a nail salon this low quality. From start to finish it was the worst experience I have ever had at any nail salon in Gainesville. I would never go here again- even if it was for free. First of all, when I walked in I asked how long the wait time was and they told me 15 minutes. To trick me into staying after 15 minutes they moved me to a pedicure chair where I ended up waiting another 45 MINUTES before someone started doing my feet. The woman who was doing my pedicure wasn't even apologetic about the wait time. Next, the woman who was doing the pedicure next to me was ON HER CELL PHONE THE ENTIRE TIME SHE WAS GIVING THIS POOR LADY A PEDICURE. I don't know about you, but I want peace and quiet when I'm getting a pedicure and I couldn't even relax because she was tapping away the entire time. The quality of the manicure and pedicure itself was incredibly sub-par. She didn't even bother cleaning up the polish on my skin. Then when I went to pay the woman who took my credit card tried to charge me $15 more than what the special was listed on Facebook. And when I asked her why, she couldn't even communicate with me properly so I could understand what she was saying. I would be more understanding about everything if they seemed to care even the slightest bit about their customers. But they don't. They're entitled just because the salon is brand new and has nice pedicure chairs. This is my new favorite nail salon in town! I popped in for a pedicure and the service was excellent from the moment I walked in. The male tech was very friendly and welcoming, and made sure I was comfortable the entire time (and gave an awesome massage!). I was offered a beverage as soon as I sat down. The foot bath had lovely smelling salts and mini bathbombs in cute little shapes. The salon itself was impeccably clean and tastefully decorated. The techs used new files and buffers (removed from sealed packaging) and sterile metal tools. The chairs are brand new, and there are even two cute children's chairs.
