I walked in on July 16 to just have a broken nail repaired. My regular nail tech was closed and wouldn't reopen for several days and I didn't want to walk around with one broke nail. There were 3 work...
I walked in on July 16 to just have a broken nail repaired. My regular nail tech was closed and wouldn't reopen for several days and I didn't want to walk around with one broke nail. There were 3 workers and only 2 customers. I was greeted immediately, but when asked what I needed done and I showed them my broken nail....the older lady said,"we cant fix, we dont have time!" Mind you, the shop would still be open for another 5 hours. Not only was she rude, but made me feel very uncomfortable! And THAT IS THE REASON I WILL NEVER EVER GO BACK!!! Pretty rude! I understand nail techs not wanting to work over someone else's work, but as a paying customer ITS THERE JOB!!!

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! I went in to get a simple manicure and pedicure and one of the older ladies that did my nails was just absolutely horrible and did a disgusting job. The pedicure was just weak she did not cut my nails straight they were crooked and I asked her to fix it and her response was “no it’s not crooked it’s just the angle you are seeing it from” like NO, I’m the customer if I say it’s crooked it’s because it’s crooked and all you have to do is file it even...
Now for the worst part the manicure. I was already annoyed and worried to have her even do my manicure as well but I decided to bite my tongue and let her continue on with her job. When it came to the gel polish she painted all over my skin and cuticles and didn’t even clean up my edges and just through me into the light for it to dry. I looked at my hands and told her can you please clean the edges and all she did was try to scratch off the gel and all it was doing was hurting my skin so I told her to FORGET IT. She had the audacity to ask “do you like them” I looked away and stood quiet. The manger who is supposedly the only one in the salon that can actually do nails correctly told me he was going to fix my toes and he did. He then sent me over to another lady to fix my manicure. The lady only painted over what I already had and expected me to be happy with the results I just stood up and walked away. I still paid and everything. Once I left the salon not even 10 minutes later my manicure started to chip off. I called the salon and told the manger and he said to come in so he can fix it but honestly at that point I didn’t want anyone from that salon touching me anymore I had the worst experience ever! I asked him for a refund and he agreed to refund me to come in the next day. I came in the next day and he only refunded me $10 out of $73 I spent in that salon miserable and just complaining the whole time. THEY SUCK AND THEY DONT CARE IF THEY DID A HORRIBLE JOB! JUST KNOW THEY WILL NOT REFUND WHATEVER MONEY YOU SPEND WITH THEM.

My experience at the nail place wasn't that great. The nail polish lasts less then a week even the gel. Also they were not the nicest, they laughed at my daughter's nail color choice.

I've been to Happy Nails TWICE, and both times were horrible! My pedicure experience was horrible and THEY CAN'T POLISH!! Costumer service was horrible. Everything about Happy Nails is HORRIBLE.

I always go to Happy Nails to get my pink and white nails because they always do the job to perfection. I have never had a bad experience there and only trust them for the best looking nails. Ken and Jenny do an outstanding job and all my friends now go there only as well. Great quality service and very good people here!

Probably one of the worse nail salons services I've gotten Ever. I came in to get my toe nail Polish changed and a broken acrylic nail repaired. I had not gotten my nails done there originally so they did not have the color. (1st place I went to was amazing but across town) I picked a black coat and a blue glitter to go over it to best match what I already had. Not sure if that was to much work for the guy (whom already appeared to have an attitude because he was standing outside when i arrived and had to come in and work) or my services were going to be less than $20; but he literally told me to get up because he wasn't going to do it. I said okay can someone else? He replied no one will help you and said aloud I had an attitude. I was having an amazing day up until then. This was my second time being there and my service wasn't great the first time, but I was satisfied enough to return. Never again. I was disgusted. I went across the street to Pretty Nails with the same problem, and had no problem being able to match the color that was on my nails. They were sweet and happy to help. Happy Nails has a bunch of miserable people working in there. Oh yeah and the Manager Tony didn't care at all when i called and told him what happened. He didn't even apologize on behalf of his employees. And i live less than 5 minutes from happy nails that should be my go to salon. Never Again!

A very wonderful experience! I love going here and this place is always a bright and happy place. Even the nail tech Kenny does a wonderful job on my nails and the other nail techs are very friendly. I also love getting pedicures because it doesn't matter who does the pedicures the tech takes their time and makes sure I have relaxing experience. Happy Nails is the place to go to get your manicure, pedicure, and have agreat relaxing fun and bright experience!

Went here once because it was more convenient and less expensive than the last place I went, but believe me, you get what you pay for. After my experience here, I ran back to Venus Nail. The place is dark and drab and looks like it hasn't been cleaned good in a long time. The technician would put a coat of polish on, not evenly, then tell me it was cause I moved. This happened several times. To remove the gel from the previous manicure, he used a little dremel tool to sand it off, not acetone to soak it off. Won't go back, even if it was free.

Friendly staff, decent pricing and below average polish application. I came in for a pedicure and was immediately put into a chair with my feet soaking. My wait wasn't very long. The scrubbing and massage was rushed. My heels don't look any better than when I came in. The nail tech was really nice but she wasn't the best at painting nails. Also a lot of the polish bottles are almost empty, so it kind of limits the selection. I will look for another place to get a pedicure.

So, after reading many good reviews, I decided to try out Happy Nails.The location was abysmal. It was dead silent inside. The nail color selection was out of order and pathetic at best. Most were dried shut, unable to be opened and tested. The mani/pedi for $35 was mediocre. The pedicure was decent. She took her time and was attentive. My huge disappointment came when she painted my nails. A manicure is great, but if I leave needing to go home and touch it up, I've wasted my money. I attached a picture. The were lumps and hairs from the brushes and the paint job left so much to be desired.While the staff was friendly, I would not come back. I'd rather a rude staff and a great manicure.

They are always amazing here and the prices are very inexpensive! I made the mistake if going somewhere else for a quick fill and never again. Everyone here is so nice and they all do wonderful work!

Ken (?) who sits at the first table mostly did my nails and I usually ended up with cuts and scrapes. He seemed rushed always and I didn't feel like they were very clean. I did like their spa pedicures by the girls but again didn't feel like they cleaned their tools or the salon very well. I tried Pretty Nails across the street and have been very happy with having my nails done and their spa pedicures are excellent! Have been going there for over 1.5 years and am happy.

After having bad experiences at a few different nail salons around Gainesville, I can thankfully say I have finally found a place that I am really happy with! A true testament to their name, they were very polite and friendly. I felt welcome as soon as I walked in the door. I got a basic manicure and a pedicure for $35, a very reasonable price. They gave me a nice, long massage on my arms and legs and my nails look great. I am definitely never going anywhere else. This is by far the only nail salon I'd recommend in Gainesville.

It was great, only thing I noticed later that she filed one of my finger nails a little crooked, but otherwise really nice service considering I was a walk-in (exploring my way) it was 34 bucks for both the mani pedi. And did I mention they have a massage chair for u while u get ur pedi.However I wasn't too happy later when I went back for an arm and underarm wax. It was way too expensive for the service provided and there were still plenty of broken hair and some skin abrasion.

There are two things in this world I must do no matter how broke I am and that's get my eyebrows done (I recommend BrowArt 23) and get a pedicure. That being said, it is such a mission to try and find a place that consistently gives a good pedicure. I think I found it in Gainesville though: Happy Nails.No matter who you get on staff, you're pretty much guaranteed to get a good pedi. They'll always take their time to focus on you, no matter how busy it may get. The biggest perk for me is that they include a hot stone massage on your legs and feet at no extra charge.Their other services are fantastic as well, including the manis. Kenny is the go to guy for manicures there but I would try to book an appointment since people are always requesting him.This place is a great gem.

A true testament to their name, they were very polite and friendly. I felt welcome as soon as I walked in the door. I got a basic manicure and a pedicure for $35, a very reasonable price. They gave me a nice, long massage on my arms and legs and my nails look great. I am definitely never going anywhere else. This is by far the only nail salon I'd recommend in Gainesville.

The most attractive thing about this place is the price. That being said, you pay for what you get. Two days ago I got a mani/pedi and my nails are already chipping! The girls were nice, but overall the place was not very impressive. I plan to try other salons in Gainesville next time.

It was great, only thing I noticed later that she filed one of my finger nails a little crooked, but otherwise really nice service considering I was a walk-in (exploring my way) it was 34 bucks for both the mani pedi. And did I mention they have a massage chair for u while u get ur pedi.However I wasn't too happy later when I went back for an arm and underarm wax. It was way too expensive for the service provided and there were still plenty of broken hair and some skin abrasion.

That being said, it is such a mission to try and find a place that consistently gives a good pedicure. I think I found it in Gainesville though: Happy Nails.No matter who you get on staff, you're pretty much guaranteed to get a good pedi. They'll always take their time to focus on you, no matter how busy it may get. The biggest perk for me is that they include a hot stone massage on your legs and feet at no extra charge.Their other services are fantastic as well, including the manis. Kenny is the go to guy for manicures there but I would try to book an appointment since people are always requesting him.This place is a great gem.
