Superb service and they treated me great from the second I walked in. Took advantage of a great deal they were running on their website and got my wife a few spa services and I snuck in a massage for me :) Have been there a few times now and each time I’m amazed at how sensational the crew has been. My boyfriend got me a gift card to Cloud 9 for Valentine's day. I went in today for my first ever massage by Amy. She was absolutely wonderful. With it being my first massage, I did not know what to expect. The whole atmosphere was so relaxing, especially the women's locker room and the waiting area. Originally I was scheduled for a deep tissue but Amy was professional and could tell my body was not ready for a full deep tissue and adjusted to assure I would not be so sore. Fantastic place! The staff is very friendly and the facilities are clean, calming, and a very nice touch. They give you your own little locker to store your stuff in, and they have little snacks and hot cocoa while you wait for the specialist. I went in for a hot stone massage with my boyfriend (It was also our first time ever getting a massage) and it was very relaxing and they even ask you what scent of oil you would like. They have a shower in case you'd like to use it after treatment along with shampoo, conditioner, and styling amenities (such as hair dryer, brushes, etc..) would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great experience and a relaxing massage! GROUPON RIPOFF! My procedure was FINE- in comparing it to others. The Groupon is misleading and false. I purchased the combo treatment Skin Tightening WITH IPL for $103.I don't understand why they would sell that if "you can't do these 2 procedures to your face bc your skin would burn" she only did the Skin Tightening -if I knew that- I would have purchased IPL alone and Skin Tightening alone and not waisted $50!!Bottom line- I lost $50 on this "deal." The owner should adjust the Groupon. Not fair. Also, taxes not included and they are all about getting their money. Wanted it the second you walked in. And then 4 hints about gratuity. I recently had a hot stone massage at Cloud 9 and it was amazing as usual!!! The combination of heat, smooth stones, soothing scents, and the advanced skills of the massage therapist created a relaxing experience that left me feeling like I was floating. I have had many services over the years at this establishment and there is a reason I keep coming back...the SPA experience. I have been to other local "spas" and massage therapy businesses and Cloud 9 is the only one that lives up to the Spa title. The relaxation room is a lovely way to begin the whole experience with comfortable seating, refreshments, and a tranquil vibe. The staff are always so welcoming and kind, and make a point to keep the facility quiet and calm. I love ending my visit with a leisure browse through their charming boutique. Cloud 9 was a wonderfully pleasant experience which began from when I walked into the place.  I received a trio of services: 25-minute massage, facial, and pedicure.  The masseuse was great and I still feel the relaxation in my back and shoulders several days later.  The facial exfoliation gave my skin a firmness and glow I could see.  My toenail polish is still shiny and chip-free.  The aesthetician described and  informed me about each product that she used; and I was pleased that she did not try to hard-sell me the products. I've been coming to cloud 9 since they opened. I've enjoyed every massage I've had. I had a hot stone yesterday that was beyond relaxing. We did a couples massage in their shared suite. The massage therapist are top notch. I look forward to my massages there. They do need to get longer robes for men.  My husband is 6'2" and the robe didn't cover his boxers when he sat down. My sister came to visit from Ga. so I set us an apt for us to relax. From the moment my sister and I opened the door we were greeted with nice smiling faces! They make you feel like a queen! We did a massage in the same room and it was so relaxing I forgot we were together lol. Each of us got our own 50min massage catered to our own needs. I always LOVE my service at Cloud 9 because the staff make the experiences extraordinary (from check in to actual services) but some of the things I truly appreciate that don't often go mentioned are the fact that the place always looks welcoming (and decorations are often updated), that the facilities are impeccable and that the staff that cleans is friendly and approachable, and that the gift section is well curated and fun to browse.  If you haven't been to Cloud  9,  do yourself a favor and treat yourself.  it's totally worth it! What a wonderful, relaxing experience. This was my first visit to Cloud 9 and from the moment I stepped through the door I felt like I had been transported to a peaceful and inviting sanctuary. I was a lucky girl this Valentine's Day and received a Cloud 9 gift card from my honey. I called to book my appointment and was delighted to learn that the $150 face value of my gift card would accommodate two services. I booked a facial the first Saturday and a massage the week after. :-) The ambience at Cloud 9 is so relaxing and classy. The staff is professional and care to do their very best and make you feel special. The robes and slippers were clean and new. The other guests all seemed so content. Scheduled an appointment for a massage with a *particular* masseuse. Once I arrived, a different person was sent to do my massage. I informed the substitute therapist that I specifically scheduled (and received email confirmation of) my services with a different specialist whom I preferred to see. I was told that the masseuse was with another patron and wouldn't be seeing me today. I was never informed of this prior to my appointment, nor upon initial check in. The 'coordinating manager', Amanda, suggested that I change back into my clothes since the person I scheduled with was 'completely booked for the evening' and wouldn't be able to do my service. The manager then proceeded to waste more of my time by explaining that it was a 'common problem' that happens with their booking system. She did not offer to provide any accommodation for my inconvenience and their error. Amanda was completely unequipped and uninterested in correcting the error, other than suggesting I submit an email to the owner. Cloud 9 Spa has indeed changed for the worst. Completely unprofessional, poor business practices, and absolutely terrible customer service. Don't waste your time or money here. Read Less

I'm really torn about how to rate my experience. The staff were friendly and kind and calm, which is what you want at a spa. The decor was dark and calm though a bit dated and worn in places. At the incredibly high fees the spa charges, it was surprising to see chunks of paint missing from several places in the pedi villa.The massage was lovely - it went by so fast! The pedicure was fine, a bit too short and I missed the  lower leg massage I have always received at other pedicure salons. My toe nails do look quite fetching. My manicure looks lovely too, but unfortunately there were bits of gel polish left under several nails and at the base of a couple of nail beds.The massage tech and the nail tech were both lovely and charming and I quite liked them. My only qualm with the service at all was that one of the lovely ladies looking after me was chewing gum throughout my time with her. To be fair, she was very discreet and I might not have noticed if I didn't have a general dislike of gum chewing.Overall, I'd say that if prices were lower I'd have given it five stars. Although extremely friendly staff and beautiful salon, not the best place to get a Brazilian. One of my more, if not most, painful waxes and I frequently get the full wax done. I attribute this to her bad technique. The lady didn't even hold my skin taut when she pulled. She did not go over the area in the end with a tweezer or even check at all. It was not a clean job and was very disappointing.My biggest concern is that they double dip in the wax. The lady said not to worry as it has antibacterial agent but that doesn't make it any less unhygienic to double dip. Other than saving money on the wooden sticks, I don't see what logical reason a place has to reuse a stick. This comes to my other problem of price. $55 doesn't even give you the full Brazilian wax, you have to pay extra, which is insane considering that already high price point. I've gotten phenomal waxes done for less, so I'm quite disappointed that I paid so much with for a mediocre experience. Read Less

I had a signature facial today by Kimberly. Cloud 9 is a cozy, peaceful and accommodating spa. I liked that I could shower beforehand, sip chai tea and relax in the darkened, restful waiting area. Everything about Cloud 9 is professional and courteous. The employees seem to enjoy their work atmosphere and co-workers. It was nice to walk in and see smiling faces from the time I arrived until I left. They did not try to push products on me, but were very informed and explained things very well upon checkout. The spa it's self is gorgeous. However, I have the feeling the front desk staff has never had any formal customer service training. It seemed as if they were reading from a script. I had a facial done on Friday the 12th and Jessica was the best! I was surprised that I was able to get an appointment so quickly- I decided last minute to try and get in and was able to still find some availability! Jessica did a wonderful job and explained some things regarding some of the skin issues I mentioned to her. She also recommended some products for me to try, but they were not pushy about the items which was nice compared to past places I have been. It's now been a few days and my face looks much better and some of my trouble spots look much more clear.I am definitely planning on returning again in the future for more spa services. Read Less

The actual service is good.  If your looking for a quick service, Cloud 9 is decent.  The only amenities they have is a shower and lockers.  Also, only co-ed lounge.  The robes/capes are very non luxurious, they would suit better in a hair salon.Also not very highly trained in customer service.  e.g. Is this your first time here?...every time you check in  e.g. They could offer water after service, instead of just reminding "be sure to have water"Overall, I keep going back and will most likely return when I need a quick service that is local. Three stars is about right;A few things bothered me;Pedi is overpriced, no foot tub?? It just wasn't the same and not nearly as relaxing as the cheaper places without the tub. I hated leaving with all that greasy lotion all over my legs and feet....wiping didn't really do the trick and I was slipping out of my shoes. I know there are concerns about fungus, but proper disinfecting should take care of that (also I've seen places that have disposable liners). I just didn't really feel like the "intimate" experience warranted the hefty price. No problems with the work; it was all more than satisfactory, and the nail tech was polite/professional. My massage was nice and relaxing. No complaints there :) In short: would return for a massage, but I'm not sure the nail prices are worth it. Read Less

Service received: full leg waxI really wanted to like this Spa. I liked the products they sell in the main room.. Lots of organic & essential oil products, but there were only a few chairs for waiting. I didn't find the waiting area to be very calming.When my waxing technician came out to get me she said the appointment was for an hour but it wouldn't need to last that long (which I have no problem with if the job is done right). Anyway, she was very sweet and welcoming and so were the women at the front desk. My issue is her waxing technique and speed. She did not hold the skin taut while removing the strip and seemed as if she was rushing the appointment. I'm not sure if it was because they were closing shortly after my appointment but I came home and found many stray hairs. I know I can't expect every hair to be gone but I noticed a several small strips of hair that other waxing spas never leave behind.Might just have been a bad day but I will not be back. Read Less

Just had the best spa pedicure I've ever had. I've been to many places around Florida for spa pedicures -- Marriott, Ritz Carlton, The Breakers in Palm Beach -- and this was the best one I've had. Rose took her time, made me feel relaxed, and clearly took great pride in doing a wonderful job. I had the Signature Spa Pedicure which included a choice of different elements (I chose stone massage and paraffin) and it was well worth the $70. I loved that there was no "foot soak tubs" as they can spread bacteria. (I had a problem with my big toe from a previous pedicure at another salon).  Instead, everything was gently done by hand and I felt sincerely pampered.The spa itself was tranquil and serene feeling, just the way a spa/salon should feel. Decorated in a Tuscan villa style motif, the front reception area was warm and inviting, with a myriad of products lining the shelves. Two doors off the reception lead to the spa, and one door led to the salon. I was led to their "Pedi Villa" and stepping inside, that is what it felt like -- a quaint room inside a Tuscan villa, complete with wood beams on the ceiling, dim lighting, soft relaxing music. Two pedicure chairs faced arched built-ins on the front wall which housed rows of nail colors and hooks for purses. I was asked if I wanted the massage chair turned on, (I declined) and if I'd like a warm neck roll. (Uh, yes!)  Then ..... Best spa pedicure ever. I will return many times and ask for Rose. DO NOT get your eyebrows done by Nikki jordan. She's fairly new at cloud 9 but also worse at waxing eyebrows than probably my half blind dog. She made my brows EXTREMELY asymmetrical and waxed them both differently. After the damage was done, I had a huge two finger gap between both my brows. One was smaller than the other. They were completely round when I explicitly asked for square shaped. Clearly not worth the $20 or the now completely royally screwed up brows I have to live with for the next two months until they're back to normal. For my birthday my husband and a good friend gave me a trip to Cloud 9 for a mani/pedi. I got the deluxe versions of both with a hot stone massage. Oh my goodness, it was wonderful! This was also my first time going to Cloud 9. Rebecca was my nail specialist and she was wonderful! She not only did a fantastic job she also read my mind - I commented on her fun and funky red glittered nails and she smiled and suggested that we do a glitter treatment for me too. I was thrilled! Cloud 9 has such a lovely waiting area out front in the registration/check in area. I got there early which left me plenty of time to browse through all the gifts. I loved all the things they had like the Poo-pourri! Hee hee.So why only four stars? To be honest it's a tiny picky thing: the pedicure chair I was sitting in was one of those massage chairs and one of the roller balls in it was popped out or something and just seemed to jab me in the back rib. But that would not stop me from going back or encouraging friends and other people to go. I loved the deep tissue massage I received here (ask for Kathryn)!  I haven't tried Cloud 9's other services, but I will definitely be returning here for massages on a regular basis.  As a first time visitor I was impressed with the customer service and facilities.  The lady at the front desk was very friendly and gave me an excellent mini tour.  My only complaint is the waiting/relaxation room.  Unless you have a friend to chat with or your wait is short, you'll be sitting here bored until they're ready for you.  The room is too dark to be able to read a magazine or book, and there aren't any available anyways. I'm reviewing this for my wife. She goes mostly for pedicures, facials, and massages. She doesn't go for hair appts. She loves this place, has gone to many other places, but loves Cloud 9 the best. Makes it easy on me for Christmas and Birthday gifts. Decor inside is very nice. They are always very very pleasant. Great place to go and treat yourself to a spa treatment.
