Loved the time and effort Angel took for my pedicure so this isn’t for her. I’m livid about my hands. I had very long natural nails under my acrylic tips and wanted to soak them off and put acrylic on my natural nails.. worst experience I’ve ever had. The acrylic is thick and uneven and my “coffin” shaped nails are short nails that don’t resemble coffin shaped nails AT ALL. The shape, the acrylic itself, and the gel polish on top are a complete disaster. I have polish on my hands and acrylic everywhere and I’ve never been more disappointed with a service. This is one of the worst nail experiences I have ever had. The man did my pedicure and dug very hard into my nails bed. Despite my asking him to stop, he continued. When we went to do the manicure, he did the same thing. I refused to allow him to finish my nails. I waited for another technician for an hour. I was very disappointed and will never go back. I've been to this location a few times and have always been happy with the quality of their work. They do a good job and usually aren't too busy. Looks like a family run place. It's well decorated and pleasant inside. Everything is pretty new. I also couldn't be happier with the location, now I don't have to drive up to the mall just to get my nails done. Read Less

Great place! Best foot massage I've ever had during a pedicure. I only got the basic package and that still included a hot stone massage! The staff was super friendly and not pushy at all. Definitely one of the best nail salons in Gainesville! Read Less

I've been here a couple times now, if your shy and awkward like me this is a great environment. The staff is awesome every time ive been here. It's very relaxing and almost puts you to sleep. This was my first nail salon experience in the Gainesville area (I'm from Tampa), and I was very impressed with Bellagio. I had Tommy (the owner), and he was excellent. He really took his time, and seemed to care that I left feeling satisfied! The other nail techs seemed genuinely nice as well, and their customers were also leaving very happy. I read their reviews and really wanted to be optimistic!They had great deals on pedicures but nothing on manicures posted (I could have missed that). I'm getting my pedicure and I see a huge roach/waterbug flopping on the floor. I tried to pretend that I didn't see it but I was grossed out. When it came to my manicure the tips of my nail kept becoming gooped up at the tips. She tried to keep correcting by adding more polish it but adding more didn't help. Don't go here. The guy who did my pedicure had a wart on his hands and didn't wear gloves (that's how warts spread, by skin to skin contact). It was too late by the time I noticed to say anything. I did ask one of the other workers about it and he said "yeah sometimes we get lazy and don't wear gloves"...disgusting. And they also don't know how to match their gel polishes so my hands and feet are different colors. It took them over two hours and I just got so frustrated that I was ready to leave. Read Less

I watched the woman who just performed a lackluster pedicure on me take the dirty tools she had just used, move them to another station and started using them on someone else.  Yes, I said something and they started to argue with me.  I watched the entire time!  The tools were NOT clean.  Unreal!  They are absolutely not up to industry standard and do not autoclave their tools between customers, even though I asked point blank.  They dip them in barbicide between use at stations, which is definitely not enough.  If you don't hepatitis, then stay far, far away. I decided to try this new place after I saw the sign for $20 gel polish. The gel color selection was not great. The nail tech was very young and very polite but he seemed extremely inexperienced and unsure of what he was doing. He didn't have any of the supplies at the station and left every couple of minutes to get the necessary tools. The gel polish does not look great. It is visibly lumpy and all over my cuticles on several fingers. I was sad that I did not like it but decided that for $20 this wasn't much of a loss. Then, as he rang me up, my total was 28$ (before tip.) I asked why and he said "The sign for 20$ is for a gel color change, you got a gel manicure." I was speechless at this deception. There is nothing on the sign to indicate that the $20 price is only for a color change. At no point did my nail tech make me aware of this. I will not be returning and feel very ripped off. Read Less
