Stopped in with a friend cuz it was time for my bi-monthly pedicure, He had been here before and is his preferred spot. Wed sat in the first two chairs, and his was only massaging in one mode, so we switched, No one had shown me where to pick apolish, and they were all behind the counter, so I waited until midway through the pedi to be asked, and was brought a few shades of pink to choose from. I have to say that Romeo was very efficient and through with cleaning, buffing and polishing nails. And there were quite a few customers, but I just couldn't shake the feeling that the people who were working there knew something we didn't about the smells, as at least half of them had face masks on.And frankly, there was a pretty strong chemical like smell to the place. Also chairs that didn't work, some with duct tape, and after I was done, put on some weird orange foam flip flops kind of things and dried my nails under a cabinet with air...I notices that the flip flops had a coat of dist grime on the bottom. I'm not a stickler for clean, but hey, this is a place where hygiene should be of the utmost importance. The gauze draping over the pedi chairs seemed as if it needed a good wash, and the bathroom had no toilet paper and was more like a storage place.With so many other places around, I would not come back here, even though I was very satisfied with the pedi, the environment was not up to par.
