AVOID THIS PLACE! I used to love going here, friendly staff and wonderful owners. But ever since the new owner took over things have gone completely downhill. I have visited here 4 times to give them...
AVOID THIS PLACE! I used to love going here, friendly staff and wonderful owners. But ever since the new owner took over things have gone completely downhill. I have visited here 4 times to give them the benefit of doubt since the new owner took over. She is extremely unfriendly and does not say "hi" or acknowledge customers and walks around with a scowl on her face.
The cleanliness has gone downhill. The "nail tool" kit the girl carry around looked filthy. and the towels were ratty with holes in them.
They used to serve amazing cocktails, and fiji water now they have no selection extra ultra cheap drinks (ie: barefoot wine) and last visit gave me water in a dirty glass. (come on- bottle water is $0.15 each at costco- for $50 I expect a little more)
Every time i go in there the girls and the owner are sitting in the corner on their cell phones. Very unprofessional. I feel as if this place does not appreciate customers or want your business.
Also, 3 out of 4 times i went the girls did not do a good job on my manicure/ pedicure. Owner is too busy looking on her cellphone to even check the quality of work.
If you want to feel unappreciated and unwanted as a customer, go here. Otherwise, take your business elsewhere.

Wonderful! My shellac has lasted two weeks and I couldn't be happier. I called Donelle ahead of time to tell her that my mom needed someone gentle to take off her acrylics and get shellac, my mom is going thru chemo so I wouldn't just trust her with anyone. Donelle set my mom up with a wonderful person, she was so sweet to my mom and made sure she was very gentle with her. I highly recommend this place and will be back to get shellac again.

I have been getting waxed by Vanessa for a while now and I could not be happier. She is very professional and knowledgable. I went in being very nervous about getting my eyebrows done and she did an excellent job. I even began getting full body waxing because she did such a wonderful job.

Stopped in here because I was in the area and thought I would give them a try. The place is pretty enough, a relatively new building, but I was not happy with the cleanness. I did not feel the tech had followed proper procedures for sanitation, at least not to my standards. The management seems disinterested in how things are done, but more concerned with moving people in and out. All in all I was not happy and the job they did was certainly not worth nearly what I paid for it. Had to get my nails "fixed" elsewhere just a few days later.

The last 2 times I was there horrible experience my nails & toes messed up asked to fix & got horrible attitude. Over priced give them 3 months & will have new owners

I took my daughter here to get her nails and toes done for her wedding. She presented a picture of the nail design she wanted only to be told by the nail tech "I don't have the time to do that". She ended up with very thick acrylics that were chipping by the end of the ceremony the next day. I had been to java previously, as we walked in there was a sign that read bring a friend and get 50% off. We did not receive the discount. ... Very clean, very pretty facility but the customer service when requesting designs and the failure to follow through on advertised specials left a sour taste in my mouth. See More

My place to go to when i want me time ! Refer it to everyone i talk to . Love the classy elegant setting. If you have had a bad experience i reallg suggest going back and trying again. Love everything about this nail salon! Customer service was great. Atmosphere is so elegant, yet modern and very relaxing. Great place to bring a group of friends for pedicures and manicures. I went to the salon in Gateway to make an appointment for the next day for a pedicure and they had nothing available, so I was sent to the Daniels location. I found this a little odd since I wanted to book a day in advance. So, I made an appointment at the Daniels location. The pedicure was pretty standard but the prices are pretty high for what they offer. I doubt I'll be back.

I'm a mom w/ two small children. I rarely get time for myself. For mothers day weekend I decided to treat myself to mani pedi. I went to Java nails in Gateway and they didn't have any nail technicians on sight (on a friday!?!) They sent me to their other location on Daniels. I showed the nail tech what I wanted and she said she couldn't do it...the girl who does nail art wasn't in. To my disappointment I had to settle for a mani pedi I could have received at any Asian nail salon for half the price!

(Thank you Donelle)It's a great treat to go after all long day relax, and be offered a complimentary cocktail.Good service is hard to come by, but here it's GREAT service. AVOID THIS PLACE! I used to love going here, friendly staff and wonderful owners. But ever since the new owner took over things have gone completely downhill. I have visited here 4 times to give them the benefit of doubt since the new owner took over. Wonderful! My shellac has lasted two weeks and I couldn't be happier. I called Donelle ahead of time to tell her that my mom needed someone gentle to take off her acrylics and get shellac, my mom is going thru chemo so I wouldn't just trust her with anyone. Donelle set my mom up with a wonderful person, she was so sweet to my mom and made sure she was very gentle with her. I highly recommend this place and will be back to get shellac again.

Love everything about this nail salon! Customer service was great. Atmosphere is so elegant, yet modern and very relaxing. Great place to bring a group of friends for pedicures and manicures. I found this a little odd since I wanted to book a day in advance. So, I made an appointment at the Daniels location. The pedicure was pretty standard but the prices are pretty high for what they offer. I doubt I'll be back.
