Are used to love this place and go for a very long time but recently I don't know if it's been a change of management but it's really gone down hill I posted a photo of my nails he didn't cover my natural nail and my cuticles are all torn up at one point I started bleeding and asked him to stop with the tool and he then decided to put nail polish remover on my fingers which hurt like a bitch. He was on the phone so he wasn't really paying attention. I then got a pedicure and I made him aware before he did it that I had a torn ligament in my foot and to be careful and he proceeded to be rough with me I cut the pedicure short and he painted my toes very quickly upon walking to the chair I somehow screwed up my pinky and he said he cant fix them so I got the nail polish myself and fixed them finally when I was ready to leave I handed them my Amax card and he said we do not take Amax I said I've always paid with Amax when did you stop that he said about two weeks ago there were no signs nothing thank god I was able to pay with my other card but I ended up overdrafting because it just so happens that he overcharged me for my nails on top of it when I first walked in they push the gel on you because it's more expensive and there was a woman in front of me who they basically guilted her into a eyebrow wax. Just all-around not happy with this place anymore and I will never go back I don't care how close it is to my house every time I go I feel like I'm being pressured for certain things and my favorite part is that me and my best friend have been taking Speech classes for our trip to Japan in six months so I can basically understand what they're saying and when I first walked in they said some not so nice things about me because they haven't seen me in a while and I didn't know whether I want to gel or not. I went in for the first time yesterday. I came late for my appointment and they still took me. I did not wait more than 3 min and I was having my nails done. They did them as I liked them; thin not thick and shape them square skinny not wide square. look so real and natural. the reason why I'm giving them 4 is because I paid for eyebrows and lips but they forgot to call me and I also forgot to do my eyebrows and lips I dried my nails and left they did call me to my cell and re schedule for today. I have been coming to this salon for years as I lived about ten minutes away.  It's an inexpensive place.  They give you a bottle of water.  The staff is very courteous.  I never have waited long at all. Five minutes tops.  But then again I don't go on the weekends or Friday after work.   I tried the waxing once of my legs it was ok but then again it was cheap.  It's just a great place if you have a few minutes and don't have an appt to walk in a get good service at a very reasonable price. This is my go-to nail and eyebrow salon. Nail techs are attentive and friendly. Environment is modern and clean and fairly inexpensive.  Nail techs even keep their appointments and are quick.  I'm in and out within 30 mins normally (which includes eyebrows, filling my acrylics, polish and drying).  On another note, I have found it extremely hard to find a decent eyebrow technician since I moved to South Florida.  The girls at Venice Nails actually listen to what you want (or don't want) and do a great job!  I'm relieved and don't go anywhere else to get my eyebrows done any more. I went to have my nails done with the gel. The lady who did my nails was on her phone the WHOLE time she was doing my nails. I thought this was very RUDE. I had a split in one nail and she did not repair it. I had been there many times before with no problems but if this is how they do business now, I will not be returning in the future.
