I’m very picky with the way my hair is done and I came to Tispy’s with a recommendation from a friend to see Elliott. Before ever touching my hair he sat down and talked to me for 20 minutes about what I liked and didn’t like and what his plan was. He did an amazing job with my hair and explaining exactly what he was going to do prior to starting (which I appreciated ALOT). The environment was clean, fun, and well decorated. We visited the Tipsy SalonBar last Friday for a pre-wedding pampering! The staff at Tipsy was amazing! They were so accommodating of our large group of girls, even when we showed up with more than we booked! They let us relax, grab drinks and leisurely pick out our nail color. They never rushed us and made sure that all the girls we're happy and refills were being poured! Their lychee mimosa is delicious!! They even went above and beyond and asked me (the bride to be) what music I wanted on!!! All of the girls were so happy with their nails and toes, the entire staff is awesome! The establishment itself is awesome with a bar dominating the salon which is quite cool. The stylists are not outstanding but talk a good talk as if they frequent New York Fashion Week. The worst aspect for me was how unfriendly some of the female staff in there were. The woman behind the bar even tried to chat up my friend's wealthy husband when she realized that he was of a certain standing, all while my friend was getting her hair done. Tipsy is the best salon for all of your personal needs. Everyone there makes you feel like you are part of the Tipsy family. They take care of me and my husband. They do the best pedicures in town. Amazing! If you ever need a great hair stylist, Roxanne from tipsy salonbar is your girl!!!!! I found her by seeing some of her work online. She did a cut, color and blow dry and it was all beyond my expectations. Besides the fact that the Salon is literally steps away from my house, it's an awesome place to spend a few hours. The atmosphere is comfy and relaxing, the staff is kind and courteous and go out of their way to make you feel at home. My second experience was not the best as far as the service went on my Pedicure, but once i brought the problem to Chad, the Manager, he immediately took care of it with no questions asked and made me a happier customer. I went from having hair all the way down my back to all the way up my neck – not too many Hairstylist could've handled that kind of severe transformation but Quincy pulled it off with ease! I rely on Lily and her professional Eye for perfection for anything having to do with my face, eyebrows microbladed, Tinting, the individual lashes she does for me are the a epitome of perfection, and how handy is it for me to get my Botox done there as well. And I don't feel a thing. I use Tipsy Salon Bar as my total beauty and maintenance workshop. The people in there are at the height of their profession and professionalism. I have referred several of my friends to this place and all of them have come back to me with glowing remarks! It's hard to find a one stop shop where everything is done to perfection all under one roof- but I finally found it here at Tipsy Salon bar. And thanks to Lily for bringing me over there. I went here a month ago, to get my nails done. They did a fantastic job with my gel nails and regular pedicure. It's a great value. The hair side of the salon is truly fantastic though. I let them convince me to let them try to fix my hair while I was there. It had been ruined by another salon, and the color was awful. I was ready to chop it off. Elliot saved me. That dude knows what he's doing. I never trust hairstylists, but I decided to just tell him the idea that I was going for, and let him go for it. I didn't really agree with what he wanted to do, but I let him do it. And I'm super glad that I did, because my hair looks fantastic, and I love how it looks now. It's been a month since then, and he was 100% correct in that it just looks better as we get further away from the dye job. I wish that I could fly back to Fort Lauderdale just to go see him in the salon.I have long, naturally unruly, curly hair. I'm very particular about it. And trust no one with it ever. I would 100% recommend Elliot to anyone like me who is terrified of coloring your hair or who is super picky. Or really anyone who wants their hair to look good. This will definitely be on my itinerary anytime I'm in the area.Oh! And it's not just me! Pretty much every time I wear my hair down now I get stopped and complimented! Most of the time you go to a nail place and it's all about throughput, that's not the case here; which means you can enjoy the experience of being pampered. Make sure you have the time to be pampered when you come here - it's worth it!Good selection of wine but more important, the staff was patient, accommodating, and all around awesome!  I got a mani/pedi and a glass of wine and I felt the price was very fair - $47 (wine was $10 of that). You know....for $111 (mani/pedi/2 glasses of wine) one should reasonably expect a warm, friendly, customer centered experience. My visit however was just the opposite. When you pay that kind of money, you're paying for an experience which includes a little conversation. To get a Vietnamese technician that can't speak or understand English is ridiculous. I can pay $35 for that basic service in darn near every strip mall across America. The man couldnt even understand "you're cutting my skin" but he smiled and nodded his head politely. Very frustrating.To compensate, I attemted to small talk with the receptionist who gave basic one word answers to all my inquiries like I was bothering her. There was a "regular" there who got plenty of attention selecting her hair color, but not this newcomer. I even made the statement "this is not a friendly place" to the receptionist who basically responded "oh I'm sorry" and walked over to converse with the facial tech.Don't know if Sunday services is not their thing, but I can assure you after the dent they put in my wallet for such lousy service, I would not return and neither would my friends who just kept saying...$111 over and over again. I've been coming here for about 8/9 months now. I called and made an appointment and I was booked with Nikita aka Niki. It was love at first sight ! She is the absolute best professional manicurist to say the least. She's sweet, beautiful and fun! I always look forward to my appointment with her ! Not to mention, I have NEVER had a better manicure EVER ! She is so thorough and precise with perfecting my manicure and pedicure and it's worth to spend the extra $ to come to a real salon vs the quick in and out places that are like an assembly line that don't do the job like Niki does. Niki is the sh*t ! Thank you girl for rocking at what you do ! Another manicurist is Kelly that is amazing. My girlfriend was in town this past weekend so we went together and specifically booked her because I know she is just as good as Niki ! The salon called and said Kelly was running behind and someone else could do it. I did not recognize the names they said and was confused ! We only wanted Kelly and Niki ! Luckily, they moved around some things and made it happen for us. No new people please The front desk girl was new to me and was very friendly and pretty like their old girl, Ally, (which I loved too and miss her! ), but looking forward to getting to know her ! Usually it's pretty comfortable in there temperature wise or even a little cool for me but it was scorching !! I had been burned by so many stylists that did not listen to me and did what they wanted but Q actually heard my desires and delivered!!!
