I've only been here a few times because it is literally next door to my office. Yesterday was the last straw. The last 2 times I have been seated a pedicure chair, no water running. waiting for 15 minutes. I get asked what color I want but no one ever handed me the color samples. I pick my color wait another 10 minutes i decided to walk out. I should not have to wait with NOT ONE SINGLE person acknowledging If i am OK or is someone going to help me. If i can give a lower rating I would. They have no customer Service, the very first time i didn't know they closed at 7:30 and they closed all the credit card machines and made me walk to Publix to take out cash. Should they have warned my i could've paid for my service and tip in advance. Do them a favor, and stay away don't even get tempted, they suck. Read Less

I wish there was an option for a lower rating. I have been going to this salon for years way before they even expanded. Moved away ,moved back and resumed services. This is not the 1st time I've received horrible service but this place is closest to my house and I would just try another manicurists. I called made an appointment with Susan, this was my second time going to her and the 1st time she took her time and did a great job. Towards the end of my service ( I was getting a gel manicure) she had another client come in and she rushed through and had someone else finsh my nails. The end result my nails came out wavy !! Then her and the owner tried to tell me that my actually nails were wavy .. I have never heard such stupidity in my life. I don't know if they really believe people are stupid. I came here because 4 of my coworkers came and recommended Faye. She was amazing and attention to detail. Although, it was not Faye, they could be better at customer service when scheduling an appt because they didn't take down my name, but later explained they just use the name seen on caller id. I got the nextgen (dip powder) gel and coming from another salon, agate did a great job. I'll be coming here again. Read Less

I really liked this place. They were very patient with me, because i couldnt figure out a color I liked. They gave me a pretty flower on my big toe. I messed up one of my nails during the drying process and they fixed it for me no problem. Very friendly people and great work. Read Less

Over priced 70$ for a full set and basic manicure &a eyebrows.. nail polish on toes already falling off in 4 days.. and I asked for a totally different style nails she shaped them so square and the acrylic is extra thick.. and my eyebrows look a mess two totally different shapes and the space in between is crazy now Read Less

HORRIBLE experience today! I went in expecting to request May because I wanted a specific design and she not only jacked up my ONE NAIL THAT HAD A DESIGN but also the others that are one solid color. Almost every one of them is uneven and she didn't get all the excess glue off my skin!! Read Less

The worst experience I have ever had at a nail Salon. Tom did my manicure. He removed the gel nail polish with a dremell tool off of my own nails, not acrylic nails. My nails were burning and I asked him to stop and he ignore me. As a result 5 of my nails were weakened and within 2 days were cracked and broke off below my nailbed. This place is wayyyyyy better than my old nail salon. The staff wasn't rude nor did they make me feel uncomfortable. I walked in and didn't have an exact person to go to, but I ended up with Susan. Rude people. They don't do good work. I have given them a shot twice just to see if it was the manicurist. They are in a rush to finish and leave the edges of your nails unpainted. Also I had to point out several parts of my cuticles they missed and the second time I went some of my nails were round and others were square. This place is TERRIBLE! Let me just start by saying that it was recommended to me by a co-worker who said their service was great. I decided to check it out on my hour lunch break since I figured I could get a quick mani done within that time. When I arrived it seemed busy like there was people waiting for services, but the man at the counter sat me immediately and I was instantly pleased that I didn't have to wait. But that was just the beginning of the most terrible experience! The woman that was doing my nails was more focused on her conversation with the woman next to her than on my nails and would stop every few seconds to continue her conversation. When she finally began to focus on my manicure, she asked if I was working today, my reply was "yes, and I'm on my lunch break", from that point forward it was like she really just didn't care what she was doing to my nails. So she filed them all crooked, didn't even fully remove the previous nail polish I had on, AND when she got tired of cutting my cuticles she said "you have too much cuticle, you go home each day and push back you own cuticle so it no stick". I have NEVER had a nail tech tell me that specially if I'm paying for the service! If It was that simple to do it myself then I wouldn't be going to have someone else do it! Duh! What can I say. I started coming here about 6 months ago. At first, it seemed like a quality place. The people were friendly and the work was good. This has changed lately . I went today, and by the time he finished with my acrylic fill in .. They were SO short. I asked to trim down a little. Then he cut me with the electric drill. He immediately tried to hide it from the man that controls the front saying " the boss will yell at me if he sees this" ...ummmmm. So after I'm bleeding and my nails are short , I decided against the pedicure and just went for polish change . I bought my own color. When finished he pocketed my polish. When done, I said " can I have my polish back" . He acted like he was so offended, and was so sarcastic saying " yes, yes , I give you polish" . At this time, a customer returned to complain about her eyebrows. She was very polite, and stating how they were uneven , and not as she requested. There was NO empathy at all from the " boss" man, it the tech that did it. At that time , the customer escalated stating she would never return. This USED to be a decent spot.... No more. I have been to several nail salons in my local area (Northern Broward County) but have concluded that it is totally worth the trip to Nails L'Amour. I highly recommend Quinn.
