I went to Lifestream for a massage. Their staff was very welcoming and informative. They took such good care of me starting from when I entered to when I left. They have you wear the World's Comfiest socks and slippers when you arrive. I was also offered drinks and a warm neck pillow as I waited for my masseuse, whom by the way was awesome!. She listened to me and got to know exactly what I needed and that is what she focused on. She is so sweet and positive, she even educated me on how to better take care of myself in between massages. Driving by, this place looks like a hole in the wall, but once inside it is the most tranquil relaxing places! I have had many massages in my life but have had none that are as amazing as this! They give you the comfiest socks to go into the most adorable slippers and then move you into a quiet room where you have an option of cocktails, tea, water, etc and give you a warm neck pillow. We were there for a couples massage/prenatal for me and both of us were extremely happy, all of our problem areas were worked out and were given a long stem red rose and water. I had a great day having three treatments. The entire experience is wonderful. It starts when you check in and trade your shoes for a pair of spa booties and then get to choose a pair of animal slippers before going to change into a spa robe. (I got the lion.) The staff is fabulous and friendly and welcoming. They roll out the red carpet and make sure you enjoy your visit. The spa has relaxing music and waterfalls in the relaxation room to enjoy before, after, and between treatments. They offer fabulous teas, and you can even order lunch or cheese plates. There is an attached boutique and also a hair and nail spa. I didn't use either, but both looked nice. The treatments were fabulous. I had a massage, a facial, and a body scrub. Each therapist was wonderful and provided a nice service. I'm leaving here very relaxed and happy. I regret there are only 5 stars to give as a rating. I'd give bonus stars if they were available. I first went to Lifestream with a friend of mine. Her husband had given her a gift certificate, so I went with her & paid for my own facial. I have since gone back with a friend & alone for massages. My husband & I went for a couples massage yesterday. You walk in & the staff is very friendly you put on the supersoft socks & animal slippers, then go to the lounge. They offer free flavored water or tea, and on weekends they have mimosas. They bring you a hot wrap for your neck, then the massage therapist comes for you. The massage was great and so relaxing once I even dozed off! When you go to leave don't forget your piece of dark chocolate with sea salt. Yummy. It's always a great experience, so I keep going back. After having a terrible experience w/ another spa in regards to the hydrafacial I ended up here and I am so happy I did! This place is a hidden gem! From the first phone contact with Stephanie at the front desk to the last stop, a purchase at the lovely fashion boutique. . . every staff interaction was welcoming and professional, just the way a spa experience is supposed to be. The deep tissue therapeutic massage was thorough and healing (a real bargain at the intro price of $69.). I booked the strategist body treatment and I was very disappointed. The treatment description is not what I got - yes, I got the mud wrap and some sort of toning lotion but, the only massage I got was a neck/head massage. I had body treatments before and they ALWAYS involve a body massage that allows for better circulation and absorption of the products. Despite the fact the the person I spoke with told me that the personnel is well trained, and that they all follow a specific protocol, I know enough about body treatments to disagree. I feel the treatment was serverly overpriced and not accurately described. Also, they mention chocolate - I found it quite insulting when I saw that the "chocolate" they offer you at the end is a meager tiny piece! One should get more than that with the prices they charge. Great experience - Staff was welcoming and extremely attentive during my visit. The assortment of teas and artisan mix of seeds, nuts and fruit in the relaxation area were a nice addition. The infrared sauna room was relaxing and well-maintained. I felt great after! I loved being able to shower in the privacy of the same room. I was offered a great tour of the spa when I booked my appointment during my first visit. The massage rooms are each unique and have great vibes. I have been here twice for myself and have brought many of my friends and family over for special occasions for their 60 minute massage and they always deliver.*It is recommended to come about 15 mins early to get the pre-relaxation perks* You are greeted by a smiley hostess who immediately has you change into "the world's most comfortable socks" and some comfy large animal shoes. You are then given a warm neck wrap and escorted to the waiting room. There, you can lay down on a leather plush couch and drink mint, vanilla, or fruity tea, have a handful of their nuts or tropical snacks. They will also offer you a complimentary glass of wine or a mimosa...if they don't, ask!You then fill out a sheet describing a brief medical history and what problems you would like your masseuse to focus on, neck pain, lower back pain etc. And she will happily focus on that area or give extra attention to that area. Your masseuse then comes and retrieves you from the waiting room where you go to your massage room, change into a robe and lay down. I don't want to ruin the experience from there, but you get a full body massage and its amazing! I decided to try them out myself before getting anything for her, I wanted to make sure it was something she would enjoy, while still being comfortable. Upon my first visit I was surprise by their low introduction price, followed by the quality of service I received for such a low price.I've got to say this is one of the best spa I have been to, the staff is attentive and friendly, as well as very professional. This was hands down one of the best massages I've ever received. I went here with my boyfriend for a couples massage. We used the introductory offer, $135, for a couples massage. We arrived just on time for our appointment and everything went exactly as planned. The woman at the front desk was very helpful and told us what to expect during our visit. She offered snacks, water, mimosas and wine. We were escorted to the seating area with our cute and comfy fuzzy slippers and were greeted almost immediately by our masseuses, Patrice and Joe. Immediately I felt comfortable with them as they both has a very warm demeaned. They welcomed us by name and showed us to our room for the couples massage. My boyfriend's masseuse was Joe and I had Patrice. Patrice did an excellent job working out all of the knots in my back and neck. She also spent extra time on my hamstrings, as they have been extra tight lately. I really appreciated her professionalism as well as her concern with making sure she was using just the right amount of pressure. My boyfriend said that his massage fromJoe was the best he had ever had. He said her technique and her attention to all of the pressure points was prefect. You get to choose which animal slippers to walk around in. My favorite were the Penguins :D They offer you complimentary drinks such as water, wine or juice. You wait until your esthetician comes and then you go in the room for the service. My facial was great, I got the hydro facial. It's a must if you're looking to reduce pore size, and cleanse each pore deeply. They do multiple steps such as cleansing, warm heat mist to open the pores, glycolic and salicyclic acid peel, vitamin A and E serums etc. My face stinged at first, but very shortly. Its because it was my first time and it's a peel. So it was expected, but definitely doable, don't be afraid lolAfter the facial my pores, especially my nose lmao, looked and felt a lot better!! I absolutely loved this place. I went in with my mother the week before my wedding. I had a facial and a massage and both services were magnificent! My mother had a facial and absolutely loved it. I have been to this spa three times now and I really love it. The customer service is excellent, the atmosphere is tranquil and the treatments are phenomenal. They had hot cider for the holidays and a great assortment of teas or wine to begin my experience. I was there yesterday and had an amazing facial with Gina. I also had a "treat the feet" add on (a foot massage and paraffin was), which was fantastic! I also had a massage with Sonja, which was also very, very good. As I said before, this was my third visit, and I always am made to feel like a VIP when I go there. I paid $230 for myself and my best friend to have a 60 minute massage and the Treat the Feet treatment, which did not turn out to be the luxury we hoped for. Let me start with the positives.Positives - nice atmosphere, treated well upon arrival with luxury socks and fun slippers and a heated neck wrap which we enjoyed while waiting for our massages in comfy chairs. They offered us beverages as well which is a nice touch. Negatives - 1. The addition of the Treat the Feet treatment is $30 accompanied by a massage and includes a paraffin dip, hot towel wrap, and a 15 minute foot massage. Unfortunately neither my friend or myself received a 15 minute foot rub and our massage time was eaten up with the application and removal of the paraffin, etc... Don't waste your money on this option, not worth it and it takes away from your massage.2. Sam was my friends masseuse. My friend requested she focus on upper back, neck, and shoulders and skip the legs. Sam told her that was a long time to spend on one area and my friend said you can do the legs a little if you want. Sam ended up spending 70% of the time on her legs, the part she didn't want done and very little time on the areas she requested. 3. Amy, my masseuse, listend to my request of focusing on the upper back, neck and shoulders and did a nice job. I did tell her at the begining that I liked a lot of pressure and asked her twice during the massage to increase the pressure but she never quite got there. Overall I did enjoy the massage just wished it had been a bit deeper. 4. When I called to complain that I'd felt cheated with the Treat the Feet option the manager acted as if I was lying and was a little argumentative with me, not at all how a spa manager should treat a customer. As compensation they offered us a discount on a return visit, but I live in Michigan and my friend lives in Boca Raton and based on the managers rudeness it is highly unlikely that we will return.
