Wonderful day spa! My wife and I went on a cruise and had some time to kill after we disembarked but before our flight. Lifestream accommodated us with a couples massage and held our luggage until it was time for our flights. The massage was excellent and the entire spa experience was just all around amazing. My kid and I went here for a spa day. It was wonderful, I did the hydro facial, sugar scrub and massage. It was so awesome. And very reasonable. The staff is AMAZING. I've found heaven- Although you might miss the plaza if you are unfamiliar with the area. If you need a day of self-care or even an hour Lifestream is the spot. As soon as you walk in they make you feel relaxed by offering soft socks, cute animal slippers, a warm neck pillow, and a beverage of your choice. I purposely get to my appointment early that way I can unwind in the relaxation room. Tucked into an older FL strip mall, this is a very nicely appointed (decorated), clean! day spa with an accommodating staff.  Waiting room was quiet, spacious and comfortable, perfect spa music to help get your mind in the right place, complimentary hot tea and water station.  I was given a warm neck wrap and offered a glass of wine or a mimosa - chose the latter and it was a good one (not on the "cheap" end of the spectrum). Should note that it was a Saturday and can't say if the cocktail is a daily or constant offering.They offered cozy peds to put on in place of my shoes and had larger animated slippers that you could add over them if you wanted.  I went for the full experience, chose some turtles, and they made me smile (I am 49 years-young).Had a Vitamin C Peel facial with Alyssa.  She had a lovely touch/technique and her movements around the room were considerate.  I was relaxed & comfortable enough that my mind wandered off, my jaw & brow softened, and my breath deepened. The lighting & music were perfect and the bed was heated and very comfortably blanketed.  My room was on the chilly side, and I noticed Alyssa's fingers were too at times, but I didn't ask her to adjust it, so I feel that one is on me.About a month prior, I had had a mani-pedi here.  Overall the mani/pedi experience was nice, looked great, and lasted well. The nail salon was also very clean and nicely appointed.  The pedi chairs are A-mazing. I wasn't crazy about the bar style set up for mani's, but I'd give it another go.  My technician seemed "new", but was super sweet, not rough on my nails, and again the end result was great.  I really appreciate that they offer a "healthier" polish without all the mainstream chemicals. Had Hydrafacial with Alyssa last week. She was nice and explained each step before applying the product. $104 just for face without LED light therapy. Why 3 stars? The facial did nothing to my skin. After the facial, my skin looked clean and soft but even a regular facial would have done that. Probably I have to get subsequent treatments to see a change. Also, at the end of facial, out of nowhere Alyssa applied a lip gloss. If she told me before, I would have said no because I don't like to try any lip products outside for hygienic reasons. I have mixed feelings about this spa. I'll break down the high and low points:Pros: *Amanda is an excellent and attentive therapist who will take her time to help you relax and relieve your aches and pains. *The atmosphere. Their single massage rooms could be larger, but there was relaxing music playing and the room smelled nice. Beverages were offered as I filled out papework. The bathrooms were clean. *First time visitors only pay $69 for a 60 minute full-body massage, a solid deal. Cons:*I found it odd and rather unhygenic that the crazy animal slippers provided are worn by every guest. They claim they're washed each time, but how do we really know? A few pairs looked a little worse for wear, so I kept my socks on. A bit tacky... *Michael, the owner, will not hesitate to criticize you - he's quite abrupt. (Don't believe me? Check out replies to the lower star reviews.) My mom and grandmother went with me to get a massage, and the secretary who booked our appointments that day failed to communicate what they requested to their massage therapists. This resulted in my grandma being uncomfortable and upset. The therapists were apologetic, but when Michael came in to 'resolve' the issue, he started criticized them for getting a massage when they 'weren't healthy enough.' They wanted their treatment without lying down flat and reflexology instead of deep tissue - hardly outrageous requests. My mom also complained that before the Michael incident, her therapist was half-hearted about rubbing her back. He was very annoyed and made them both pay $35 for a half hour - my mom for a mediocre back massage and my grandma for...literally nothing. I suppose for wasting his time, since they did us a favor by squeezing us in last minute in place of 'many clients' who would have wanted our slot - do take note that a 3-4:30 p.m. was also open... The same secretary called me four days later and apologized on her and Michael's behalf; I found it a bit shameless that Michael did not call himself to apologize for the way he patronized my family. For our anniversary we wanted to get a couples massage and saw that this place had a strong rating. When we got there we were greeted quickly, offered wine or champagne, and brought into a room to relax since we were early. They then brought us into our room for the massage. The whole facility is very clean and smells great. We both agreed that our massage was better than we have had before, just the right amount of pressure and covered all areas. Would definitely recommend, and we will definitely return on our next visit. They offer a boutique and do manicure and pedicure at the same location and the owners were very welcoming. Read Less

The exterior does not reflect well on this business but you can't fault them for their neighbors. Inside is beautiful, peaceful and relaxing, everything a spa should be.I treated my boyfriend and I to a 90 minute couples massage for his birthday. We both we're so relaxed we fell asleep, which has never happened to either of us before.We especially enjoyed the warm lavender neck wrap, soft socks, warm fuzzy slippers and the complementary drinks and snacks they offer. Also the message therapists started off our session with a bit of aromatherapy, very relaxing. There are just a few things that made me drop it down to 4 stars. 1. When I scheduled the appointment by phone I gave a credit card and was told I was all set. I didn't bring another card because I wasn't told I would need to present a credit card at the appointment. I thought it was prepaid and I had taken care of it from what the woman on the phone said.2. I told them when I booked that this was a birthday gift for my boyfriend so I was less than happy when they said the total outloud while he was next to me. I prefer people not know the cost of my gifts (I've always assumed most people feel this way) and I shouldn't have had to do anything but maybe sign a receipt and add a tip since I was given the impression I had prepaid. I love this place! I used to be a member and go regularly but unfortunately moved out of the area. Whenever I get back I try to stop in for some pampering. Everyone I’ve ever gotten a massage or treatment from has been amazing. As a licensed massage therapist for 16 years and small business owner myself I am particular about where to plan such an intimate occasion. All reviews were excellent, website and service menu seemed appealing then I really felt confident choosing this spa after a great first impression over the phone with the delightful receptionist Stephanie who planned the day for... us so perfectly and assured our requests would be met! Loved the entire experience here! From the moment we walked in the door to the second we walked out Lifestream Spa & Boutique was amazing. I went in for a couples massage with my boyfriend and as soon as we walked in the door we were greeted with friendly faces & the receptionist giving us a pair of comfy socks and asking us to choose from a variety of soft slippers to wear. Afterwards we were given the choice of mimosa, wine or hot tea to sip on while we waiting in the lounging area along with a warm neck wrap. We filled out the form letting our massage therapist know what exactly we wanted them to focus on and any problem areas or areas in general we'd like them avoid. After relaxing for a bit in the lounge area our massage therapist came to grab us and took us to our massage room which was dimly lit with twinkly ceiling lights and soft music playing in the background. Because we were getting the couples massage there were two massage tables set up in our room which were very comfortable as soon as we laid on it. We opted for the hour long massage which honestly went by so quickly and felt amazing! Our massage therapists, Ana & Jo, were very friendly and made sure to talk to us beforehand to see if there was anything else they could work on that wasn't on the form. My boyfriend and I also found it really nice that after our massage we weren't rushed out or anything and was even offered if we liked to unwind a bit in the lounge room again before we head on out. And to top it all off after we finished paying we were offered salted dark chocolate which was really good. Overall I highly recommend coming here because not only was the service and entire atmosphere amazing but the prices were very reasonable as well. I first went to Lifestream with a friend of mine. Her husband had given her a gift certificate, so I went with her & paid for my own facial. I have since gone back with a friend & alone for massages. My husband & I went for a couples massage yesterday. You walk in & the staff is very friendly you put on the supersoft socks & animal slippers, then go to the lounge. They offer free flavored water or tea, and on weekends they have mimosas. They bring you a hot wrap for your neck, then the massage therapist comes for you. The massage was great and so relaxing once I even dozed off! When you go to leave don't forget your piece of dark chocolate with sea salt. Yummy. It's always a great experience, so I keep going back. Great experience - Staff was welcoming and extremely attentive during my visit. The assortment of teas and artisan mix of seeds, nuts and fruit in the relaxation area were a nice addition. The infrared sauna room was relaxing and well-maintained. I felt great after! I loved being able to shower in the privacy of the same room. I was offered a great tour of the spa when I booked my appointment during my first visit. The massage rooms are each unique and have great vibes. I have been here twice for myself and have brought many of my friends and family over for special occasions for their 60 minute massage and they always deliver.*It is recommended to come about 15 mins early to get the pre-relaxation perks* You are greeted by a smiley hostess who immediately has you change into "the world's most comfortable socks" and some comfy large animal shoes. You are then given a warm neck wrap and escorted to the waiting room. There, you can lay down on a leather plush couch and drink mint, vanilla, or fruity tea, have a handful of their nuts or tropical snacks. They will also offer you a complimentary glass of wine or a mimosa...if they don't, ask!You then fill out a sheet describing a brief medical history and what problems you would like your masseuse to focus on, neck pain, lower back pain etc. And she will happily focus on that area or give extra attention to that area. Your masseuse then comes and retrieves you from the waiting room where you go to your massage room, change into a robe and lay down. I don't want to ruin the experience from there, but you get a full body massage and its amazing! I absolutely loved this place. I went in with my mother the week before my wedding. I had a facial and a massage and both services were magnificent! My mother had a facial and absolutely loved it. I have been to this spa three times now and I really love it. The customer service is excellent, the atmosphere is tranquil and the treatments are phenomenal. They had hot cider for the holidays and a great assortment of teas or wine to begin my experience. I was there yesterday and had an amazing facial with Gina. I also had a "treat the feet" add on (a foot massage and paraffin was), which was fantastic! I also had a massage with Sonja, which was also very, very good. As I said before, this was my third visit, and I always am made to feel like a VIP when I go there. I have been to a lot of spas and this is a hidden gem.The staff goes out of their way to make me feel comfortable and to ensure I have a great experience. I highly recommend Lifestream. I paid $230 for myself and my best friend to have a 60 minute massage and the Treat the Feet treatment, which did not turn out to be the luxury we hoped for. Let me start with the positives.Positives - nice atmosphere, treated well upon arrival with luxury socks and fun slippers and a heated neck wrap which we enjoyed while waiting for our massages in comfy chairs. They offered us beverages as well which is a nice touch. Negatives - 1. The addition of the Treat the Feet treatment is $30 accompanied by a massage and includes a paraffin dip, hot towel wrap, and a 15 minute foot massage. Unfortunately neither my friend or myself received a 15 minute foot rub and our massage time was eaten up with the application and removal of the paraffin, etc... Don't waste your money on this option, not worth it and it takes away from your massage.2. Sam was my friends masseuse. My friend requested she focus on upper back, neck, and shoulders and skip the legs. Sam told her that was a long time to spend on one area and my friend said you can do the legs a little if you want. Sam ended up spending 70% of the time on her legs, the part she didn't want done and very little time on the areas she requested. 3. Amy, my masseuse, listend to my request of focusing on the upper back, neck and shoulders and did a nice job. I did tell her at the begining that I liked a lot of pressure and asked her twice during the massage to increase the pressure but she never quite got there. Overall I did enjoy the massage just wished it had been a bit deeper. 4. When I called to complain that I'd felt cheated with the Treat the Feet option the manager acted as if I was lying and was a little argumentative with me, not at all how a spa manager should treat a customer. As compensation they offered us a discount on a return visit, but I live in Michigan and my friend lives in Boca Raton and based on the managers rudeness it is highly unlikely that we will return.
