Too small. Not overly friendly. The nail tech doing my pedicure used a timer for my foot massage, only problem is she was getting up going for supplies etc while the time was going. It was below average and my feet were still rough! I would not recommend. Read Less

I have waited a looong time to post as I am not a fan of negative reviews, but I can't get past the situation and feel it should be known. I had been here 3 times and was very happy with each visit, although I had been a witness to the odd difference in how they treated people based on... mood?... Previous experience with that customer? I didn't know and felt it was none of my business. My last visit, I went here with my mom for pedicures and it seemed to be a normal visit and we were enjoying ourselves. Her pedicure started about 10 mins after mine. So at the end, I was still in the chair waiting for my mom's polish to dry and the techs had gone on to work on people's fingernails in the center area. (There were several other empty pedi chairs and no customers waiting.) All of a sudden, my tech gets up from her fingernail client and comes over to us, I assumed to see if my polish was dry, but instead picks up a set of clippers and clips the skin at the side of my toenail. ONE PAINFUL CLIP! Then puts them down and walks back to the manicure customer. Honestly, I can see in hindsight maybe they wanted us out of the chair, but REALLY? This place is the only place I will come to get my nails done. The staff here are so friendly and I truly feel as if I am part of their family. They offer so many services that they excel at and treat everyone as extended family.I recently moved to Tampa and I cannot find any place that are so nice and do such a job well done! Every other place seems to rush you out of there, and some places are so overpriced! The staff is so nice too. I came here to just get a lil pampering done for myself. I didn't need anything special just a gel manicure -25$ + tipI was able to walk in without an appointment and they helped me right away.I've only gotten my nails done a few times before at various places and I didn't feel rushed or pushed through! The guy that helped me was thorough and took his time. He even took the time to make sure my nails were perfectly shaped before cleaning them.I can tell this store gets a lot of regulars and I was a goofy outsider since I'm from out of town. After moving back to Florida from Georgia I wanted to take a nice day to get my nails done with my mom. This was our first stop as it was recommended by many friends of mine. After my mom and I walked in we noticed they were quite busy so we were glad to wait since we would assume they were really good if they were this busy. We sat down and waited our turn until we saw two other women walk in and they immediately told them to sit at a table to be next before us. And no, they did not mention anything about having an appointment. So I saw this quite rude and frustrating they would put these other women before us since we had been waiting. WORST Experience I've EVER had in My Life! The lady who did my friends nails was really nice but the guy who did mine was EXTREMELY RUDE and when I showed him a picture of what I was looking to get he REFUSED and told me what I was going to get when I asked for him to put gold glitter nail polish on my nails he told me NO and refused to do it. I also got a pedicure and my feet were not soaked, the cuticles were not cleaned and when they did a fill it looks like it has been growing out for two weeks! He also did nothing but bad talk the nail tech that does my nails and I've been going to her for 10 years! I thought this was completely unprofessional. The main reason I went was to spend time with my daughter and to relax with a little massage. The nail painting I could care less about. We waited over an hour, they separated us (she's 9), they didn't even put lotion on my hands - let alone massage them like every other place. At the end, I asked about it, and they said they only do that with a gel polish. Not only is that backwards from almost every other place, but they didn't even ask if I would like it added in for an extra amount. Suuuccchhh a long week! I've been debating on posting this because for once I actually did just want to let it go BUTTTT I'm still just too annoyed.. (this is gunna be a long one..) So the first few weeks, sometimes months, into a new year with insurance verification or any position in the medical field is always very hectic & often pretty trying.. so today I wanted to finally treat myself with getting my nails done. Everything goes as it usually does.. the filing, the shaping, picking your colors etc. then comes the painting, this is where everything takes a turn.. I noticed my nail tech MIGHT have done three coats on one hand then two on my other? Obviously this is really no big deal & possibly incorrect because I'm exhausted lol but I make a comment jokingly to my friend about it and her tech overhears but thinks I'm genuinely annoyed or something because she calls my tech over to "fix" my nails. Now mind you, I've been going to this place for YEARS so joking or picking on each other is not out of the ordinary for us.. anyways, I repeatedly say my nails are fine blah blah blah.. she's just teasing etc. so he begins to what I assume is discipline her about whatever is going on? At this point me & my friend just feel awkward.. Well once everything is finished with our nails, we go to the counter to pay. She pays for hers with a simple thank you etc as I'm told my tech will cash me out (usually anyone is able to and will) then my guy comes up, slides my card.. this is where things get sour.. he begins to RAISE HIS VOICE but only slightly while he tells me I need to tell him if I'm not happy, not other techs. I explained I didn't say I wasn't happy, I simply made a comment that I thought he may have done this or that but my nails look great and everything is fine! He continues repeating himself as he is pointing at me, basically treating me like a child or as if I did something wrong?! This goes back and forth a few times, finally I get very loud (only because his tone grew louder, more rude and I was done with this) basically I tell him if I said it's fine, it's fine and to drop it. It wasn't that big of a deal but he caused a scene & attempted to embarrass me as his other clients turned to stare at the ridiculousness taking place over something so stupid! I will NEVER be returning to this salon because this isn't the first time he's gotten an attitude with me but this is the first (and last) time he's ever taken things this far! I've brought several people to him over the years, so have my friends.. but after today, I'd rather spend whatever extra money it'll take to enjoy something that supposed to be a relaxing treat!!! First time here and was very satisfied. I could watch Christmas movies while my nails were being done.  Asked for extremely short nails, rounded, with a tint a pink sparkle to them and that is exactly what I received. I found the owner to be friendly but not over talkative.  I would go to next time in town and got the impression all were very good at their trades by the way other customers oooh and aaah over their nails and pedicures. If I could put no stars I would this place is in my opinion and let me stress this is MY OPINION. I went in for a mani pedi about a week ago now when asked if I wanted the gel coat or color I said no I have very healthy nails and do not wish to ruin them with fake nails or gel polish . I am now trying to take my nail polish off ... Well surprise surprise !!!! The dam thing won't come off here I am at home a job that was supposed to take 5 to 10 min tops has now turned into a ...30 to 40 min job and my nails have been so damaged !!!! I will never go back and I will take this up with management ... MY reason for this post is not to make this place look bad plenty of people love this place and that's great my reason is for other people who want to keep their nails healthy I would not recommend this place I would recommend Lisa's Nails in my dora she is a 1 woman shop but she does a great job for less price you get a real experience or relaxation with her she is great and I will continue to go with her and only her .... I have been going there for over a year. The staff is super friendly and professional. They do excellent work and never try to rush you out the door to get the next person in the chair. The only reason I have rated it this high was because my first visit went so well. The lady that helped me the first time was very professional and courteous. All tools were in sealed containers and massages were timed. I would've been a lifelong client, if the visits were consistent. My second visit was with a older male. During my stay, I learned he was the owner. I expected my experience to be very good, in light of my first visit and the fact that ...I had the owner helping me. It became very obvious that helping me was the last thing he wanted to be doing (possibly prejudged on my ability to tip?) I was there with my daughter, hoping to have a nice visit. We were seated together..but it took much longer for someone to start my pedi than it did for her (even though employees were standing around). Eventually the owner came and started my pedicure. He was distracted and speaking in an Asian tongue to the employee beside him, smirking frequently. Five minutes in..he clipped part of my toe with a cutting tool...when I jumped in pain, he looked at it and said I had ingrown toenails. I have NEVER had an ingrown toenail and I'm very aware of that condition as my daughter had to have treatment for one as a child. He wasn't paying attention. Needless to say, the entire visit was unpleasant.. right down to the end when he said he'd be back in 5 min. to check on the drying---and 15 min. later he still hadn't come back into the front part of the salon. I must say, though, that during the time he was working with me, 2 other patrons he knew came in and were given the red carpet. They were apparently involved with his advertising. ...BUT..I was basically a NEW patron and he was the OWNER!! I can say that this was the worst treatment I have ever received anywhere!!! Read Less

If you want just basic nails they are just fine. However, they do NOT know how to do designs, which is what I asked for. I usually get pink & whites but this time I wanted some leopard on my ring fingers.. She drew polka dots at best! Also, they're a tad overpriced! The search continues... Read Less

This nail salon is different from any I've gone to. They are friendly and lots of repeat customers. I found out from a friend that works at Publix. She has been having Tina do her nails for 7 years. They just opened this new location. It is heaven! I leave felling some kind of wonderful. I will never go any place else and yes, Tina is my girl! She does such a great job. Two weeks ago I stopped into this place due to the bright sign, and I wasn't happy with my prior refill/ pedicure at the highest rated place in the area ( not the one at Walmart, the one by the auto supply).Charlie himself did my nails wanting to know what I didn't like and to please tell them. They were all so nice friendly and accommodating .  The place was clean, and very well air conditioned even in over 95 degree weather . Fast too. The quality was much better , as I have gel nails and the other place did something that had my nails chipping. I know in hot, humid climates fake nails can be tricky. Well it's been 2 weeks, the nails look great, not too heavy, no chipping, and I am headed back in 3 days.  Two women heard me and said they were nurses at the local hospital, had been coming here for awhile and always got nice mani/ pedis that lasted quite well given all they have to deal with.  Puts it head and shoulders above that other place ;) Read Less
