Was in town for work and decided to stop in for a pedicure. They were able to take me right away even though it was very busy. The spa is clean and has a great atmosphere. They are friendly and reasonably priced.I was happy with the way my pedicure turned out. Paid 15 extra dollars for the "spa pedicure" which was good but not worth the extra. The massage was okay but very short. Typically when I have paid extra for a spa pedicure, they do a 5 minute massage on each leg. That is my experience from living in New York, though. Overall a good place. My technician is very good but I do believe to find your perfect nail tech, you have to go through some trial and error. Most of the techs are friendly and open with familiar Hispanic banter. I also appreciate their cleanliness with the actual nail process and my personal technicians hygiene. I barely ever see salons that cover their pedicure stations with new plastic wrappers after every use. Also, my technician always cleans her utensils with alcohol before starting on my job. However, management doesn't do the best job at maintaining their polishes dust free. The only downside is the management and company. They are extremely uptight and don't talk at all when doing nails. It's frankly uncomfortable and impersonal. They're also very uptight with the way us hispanics speak and interact. I feel like I constantly have to whisper around them so they don't get mad at me or my technician. However, I do come back frequently because of the technicians themselves. Went here for a spa pedicure for a date night with my besties. Pickings were slim in the area for nail spas before a movie and this looked like the only one not in the mall with massage chairs. The long and short of it went like this:1. The polish selection was limited and the polish looked old. I could see the color separating in the bottles. 2. Their "spa pedicure" was really just some packet of goopy stuff that they have you soak your feet in and you are suppose to slip it around your feet and rub it on your legs yourself. And they mixed up our selections too, so I didn't even get my flavor of slop. 3. My technician didn't speak a word of English so telling her what I wanted fell on deaf ears. Had to get other Spanish speakers to help translate. 4. My technician, I'm pretty sure, thought she could work as a manicurist because she likes manicures. But it takes talent, or at least a steady hand and eye for detail. This is hands-down (pun intended) the WORST pedicure I've ever gotten. I can't believe I paid extra for this one. She didn't even use a base coat. She just started hooping the polish on and didn't wait for each layer to dry before applying again. The edges were messy - all over my skin - which she used an edge pen to wipe off the mess, which was excessive and didn't improve the look. Then she did a clear top coat. But it was still wet beneath that when I got up to leave after sitting under the fan for 15 minutes the whole layer just slid off.Basically I paid $45 to get someone to scrub my feet and do a worse paint job than I could do myself. My sister and I went after work since it was fairly close to our jobs. We had never been before and probably won't go back. We both did gel manicures and the polish started chipping after 2 or 3 days. They also advertise services online that they don't have like threading. When I asked why they have it online the girl couldn't give me an explanation. When I told my coworkers about the experience many of them told me they went through similar ordeals here I definitely recommend going elsewhere. Read Less

I've been a customer for 12 years from the first owners to Jackie and now with new owners all these years I've only done my nails feet and wax with Odalys , shes a very hard worker and loyal , I always contact her if there's any slots open for me because of my busy schedule she always contacts me if there a possibility , her loyalty is what I appreciate the most. I've come here several times as altho the work is good... the ppl are very rude. They say they close at 8 but if u don't have an appt or u walk in past 6 wanting a mani-gel, and pedicure... they make a face. Which they have done several times. I will no longer be going there. Read Less

This was the worst manicure I have ever had. She filed my nails way too short and only filed the top straight. She didn't touch the sides or shape them at all. Then she cut my skin on the sides and cuticles so short and rough that I bled in 3 different places. She didn't treat the areas that bled. She also didn't use any lotion. The painting was also terrible. It is too thick and choppy around the edges. My nails look like they were painted by a child. Needless to say, I didn't stay for the pedicure. I picked this place because of the 4-star Google review so I'm disappointed. Read Less

I give them 2 stars only because the nail techs are very nice but the work is below average... Pedicure by Odalis was not good at all. She talks alot and is very friendly but really did not massage, other than running her hands over my feet for about 7 seconds each... no pressure, no massage. Also my feet are still rough as she very lightly went over with a pumice stone. I couldve done a better job in my shower. To end, I didn't really care for the way she painted them as the edges are not clean and she doesn't go all the way up to the cuticle so I'm going to need a pedicure in a few days. Basically I threw away $24.Full set by Annette was worse. I asked her if she had any photos of Nails and she had done before and she didn't... being that they are located in Doral, a nice area, I trusted that she would do a good job without knowing. I showed her a picture of what I wanted which was long straight acrylic nails with a very light nude color. She was telling me they are coffin nails to which I explained coffin nails are a different shape and they are wider up top and then go narrow, which is not what I wanted.... I wanted straight. She insisted that what I was asking for was coffin and it would be $5 more. She did them a little bit different than what I'm used to since I have been doing my nails for about 15 years. My nails are uneven, they all seem to be going to the left (crooked) and the paint job is just not clean at all. When she asked me if I like them I told her that that was not at all what I was looking for but honestly I just wanted to get out of there. I will not be returning. It hurts me to write this review. I've been going to icon nail spa for about 7 years. The technician I do my nails with is wonderful. I'm giving two stars because of the owners.Since the last ownership change the salon is less appealing to me. The owners do not offer new or fresh (regular) polishes. The owners only cater to their gel polish customers. I stopped frequently going to the salon because of their inability to cater to all types of customers. Today I went to get a simple manicure and I noticed that the regular polish colors were all old, empty, and out dated. When I expressed my concerns with the staff they gave me the impression that they don't care. I really hope icon nail spa updates their regular polishes. Every since the new owners came in I've had issues with the polish selection and appointments. I'm upset that I'm not enjoying the salon and the new management. Read Less

I've never been one to stick to a nail salon. I usually go to the one I'm closest to and has availability. However, I noticed that I've stuck to Icon Nail in Doral for about a year now. It's CLEAN! And friendly! Everything is always sanitized and their massage chair actually work! The only reason I didn't give it 5 starts is because the receptionist has messed up my appointment twice! My favorite nail salon right now. I had a shellac mani and spa pedicure with Jeannie and she is the best. My hubby had a spa pedicure for the first time with Melissa and he loved it. Super satisfied. Will be calling for my next appt in 2 weeks. Super friendly and peaceful. Read Less

I am not a frequent review writer, but after searching for years for a GREAT manicure/pedicure that was reasonably priced in Miami, I HAVE FOUND IT! Michelle did an amazing job...my nails look fabulous! And for only $32 for both mani & pedi, you cannot beat it! If you have ever had the experience of watching someone do a terrible job on your nails, and hating the fact that you still have to pay for it, ICON is the answer! I highly recommend this place! Oh! Icon Nails is by far the best place I've been to in the area. I've been to many different salons and this place has the best service at a very fair price. I came upon their services by mistake as I visited the Coldstone next door and decided I needed to do my nail and this place looked decent. I went in and I have been going back for months! They have great service! The pedicure are in spa like chairs and are very detailed. I went with a lady name Odalys and I highly recommend her. For only about $38 plus tip, you are sure to have the best manicure and pedicure around town! She will message you hands and feet and give you the perfect french you can imagine!
