I had a wonderful experience here. I called ahead to make sure they had an immediate opening because I had an event. Tyler did my pedicure and I swear it really is the best I have had. Great attention to the tiniest detail and then a foot massage like a reflexologist, I was so surprised ($28). Then Johnny did my nails Nexgen full set ($35). I went to Venetian Nail Spa at 6:35pm to get a standard manicure and pedicure. Online they state they close at 8pm but do not disclose that they stop accepting customers at 6:30. When I arrived I spoke to a gentleman at the front desk and he said he would see who would do my manicure and pedicure. Despite only having one customer in the nail salon, they turned me away because it was 6:35 and not 6:30 and no one was willing to take on another customer. They were very rude about it, and it's upsetting that the store hours say until 8pm although they do not really mean it. Been coming here for 4 years during winter months.  Th regular tech I use was busy -- Johnnie did my nails.  When bill came it was higher than usual There were 2 $3 extras .    I was told it cost $3 to file nails a little shorter (in four years never had that charge) Gentlemen at front desk yelled to stop making it a big deal just pay it.  The other charge was to repair a nail?  I didnt walk in with a broken nail -- Gentlemen yelled again "want me to get the tech".  Yes I answered and it is a big deal to be charged for something that didnt happen.  He went talk to tech said one nail had a crack and they used more acrlic tyo fix it.  The tech didnt take off any acrlic and didnt put a tip on my nails.  I dont even know what they are talking about.  Again Gentlemen said pay and stop making a big deal -- and  take your business else where .  Wow 4 years I am going there!!  I have heard them say this to other customers but I never knew the whole story.  If you question something they just tell you leave.  Everyone should leave  like they want !! Don't bother. I came for a pink and white fill. First tech was so aggressive with the drill that I was in pain. He was replaced by someone else who wanted to soak off my acrylic ( I came for a fill!). After telling the front desk this wasn't going to work, they put me with a third tech who also reached for the acetone to soak off my acrylic. At that point I'd had enough and walked out. This was my second time here . I came down to visit a friend in del Ray beach and we wanted to experience the nice pedicure experience we had previously . We made an appt on a Sunday and they were very accommodating as to time . We were seated side by side as requested my nail tech was Helen my friend had VivianHelen rushed thru my pedicure made several rude comments concerning the last time I had a pedicure ( it was less than a month ) stating I waited to long and repeated this several times .  My toe nails are crooked and we're filed down much to low. Helen's demeanor was off putting and I doubt I'llCome back when I visit again . My friend very much enjoyed Vivian's pedicure and will be back for a manicure . I must say, I do not like this place :-( I've given it a few chances, but no good. A little too pricey (more than others), it's a hit or miss paint job (never happy when I leave), and they rush the job so much! They'll do both a pedicure and manicure at the same time on you. I love this place. Best nexgen manicures I've found. Kevin is phenomenal and I couldn't be happier every time I go. From florida girl flintstone feet lol to royalty worthy toes every time, the pedicures are worth every penny. This place is a constant let down. Last time I came to get my acrylics refilled, the tech left one hand slanted and they were closing so he couldn't fix it. Now I come over here again because their hours are supposed to be until 8pm and no surprise, 7:04pm I walk in and they tell me they are closed. Terrible business. If I could give this salon 0 stars I would.  I moved to Delray a few months ago and was in search of a new nail salon.  Venetian looks beautiful, has complimentary wine and coffee, and the techs are typically friendly.  However it is over priced and every single time I have gone there has been an issue.  Every time I get clear gel top coat it chips off within a week and they blame me.  I got the colored acrylic powder and it was so thick and uneven the next nail tech could barely get it off to redo my full set. But what's worse is what happened to me the last two times - my nail bed has split in half and is bleeding!  I went back to have it fixed and they convinced me to get a fill while I was in even though it had only been a week since my new set.  Instead of apologizing for the cracked nail the tech blamed me saying I must have smashed it - The nail broke when I simply set a plate on the dinner table and tapped the edge- and even so if they used the appropriate acrylic powder it wouldn't cause a crack like this.  This salon uses a prohibited powder.  I received my fill and paid for my service.  3 days later while on vacation another nail has the same exact crack.  The crack is so deep in my nail bed I can barely move my finger it hurts so bad.  Now I have 5 nails with cracks like this.  I am making the drive back to my old nail salon, it's worth it.  If you get acrylic nails stay away from this salon! Horrible place nasty people who are scammers! Went in to get a full acrylic set done $30 told the guy behind the counter I had never been there before and this was all new to me. The guy who did my nails did a so, so job. He had asked me if I wanted gels and I said no. So he gives me a color palette to choose from which I do, not knowing the color I chose was a gel and of course he never told me! So, he then proceeds to do gels anyways. When I get to the counter to pay he charges my card $50! I ask the middle aged man what did i get done and he says gels. I tell him that I told the guy I didn't want gels. So the tech comes up front stands there and stares and doesn't say anything! The other guy says want me to refund the money? So, I say yes because it wasn't what I had wanted. He then proceeds to slam YES! slam a twenty dollar bill on the counter!!! No I am sorry or anything! They made me feel terrible. I have never witnessed such horrible customer service skills! Funny thing is, I am in this plaza almost everyday! word of mouth is going to suck for them! Not sure why anyone would ever go here! No worries though I will never be back!!!! Read Less
