After checking on the reviews I thought it will be a lot more than what I actually pay $45 I am pleased with that since it’s what I usually pay everywhere else to get my nails done. If you can avoid going to Venetian, just don’t do it. The place is way too overpriced for the lack of quality that they give. They strive off of doing your nails and not informing you that everything they have to do is an additional $5. Regular nexgen is $40 but if you want it white, it’s an additional $5. If you want your nails shaped, it’s an additional $5. If you want your cuticle removed, it’s an additional $5. Then you pay $100 for a manicure for something that shouldn’t have been more than $40. I would give this place ZERO STARS; not an option. The Venetian in Town Center Mall is 5 stars every time. I phoned 1 and 1/2 hours prior to their listed closing time,inquiring for a mani/pedi. They became curt and rude;filled with "maybe". I arrived there and they laughed at me, taunted me, rolled their eyes, and finally one person was "willing" to give a gel manicure. I asked if he would do MANI AND pedi and he said "NO".. HIS NAME IS KEVIN AND SAID HE DID NOT CARE AND LEFT!!!!!!!!!There was plenty of time to do both. I explained I would tip well. His response!?" I don't care about your tip". I said,"you don't care about your tip?"...at that point he said he wasn't doing my mani; and left. The young , insecure, ego driven female rude front  person said he has a right to refuse service. I've traveled to over 40 countries and have never been treated so rudely. This isn't the first time being treated rudely at this spa. I gave a friend a GC to go there and she phoned me stating she would rather just give me the GC BACK! The attitude makes you sick. Take your money ANY PLACE  BUT HERE! I finally got one man (DAVID)to do both mani and pedi and tipped $100. THERE ARE ZERO REPERCUSSIONS HOW THEY TREAT CUSTOMERS.   Tiffany (not the snotty front desk person who happens to normally work at the mall)came to apologize;only after David was doing my nails and after she got away from the receptionist who is a bully, with shoulder length straight hair, and of course was over the top friendly to anyone else who came after me. It felt like her family owns the place, or why would someone feel so comfortable being so verbally abusive, a bully and mean. DO NOT GO HERE. There is another mani pedi place by publix just across street in public shopping area GO THERE IF IN A RUSH. TOO MANY BUSINESSES GIVE GREAT SERVICE AND STRUGGLE TO KEEP GOING. HELP THOSE! They told me it was a 30 min wait so I agreed to wait & put me on the waiting list they said they would call me afterwards. I got no call I came back after 30 mins & they told me it would be another 25 mins since they had already taken a few people before me. I would make an appt. if not they don't care how long you wait. My first experience was very satisfactory (powder process for nails & a regular pedicure). I came back after 5 wks with perfect nails but outgrown. This time half the polish on the pinky fell off after 5 days. The same person redid the powder process without removing the polish. This only lasted 3 days. Half the polish on the pointing finger. They agreed to do a repair "at a charge". I have been doing the powder process for a couple of years (in Fl. & NJ) and never had a problem. And I never was charged for a repair and certainly not when it was the fault of the salon. This was VERY POOR CUSTOMER RELATIONS! Read Less

I called ahead to set an appointment- the receptionist on the phone said oh you would like to come in 30 minutes--(just come in since your close by no need for an appointment) I was finishing up late lunch nearby with my 3 monthI had already GPS the address so I knew exactly where the location was and I remembered the color of the building facing linton Street.Upon entering Venetian nails- I was greeted by front desk receptionist -very bubbly young lady by the name of Ashley she said hello and she said she also noticed that my area code was 901-I see that you're from Tennessee welcome to Florida- I said thank you Ashley that was a very sweet welcome-she said I too am from Tennessee-- we began to chat for a min or so-Ashley said please go over to the wall and select the color that you would like for your service and she say which service will you be getting today and I said I'd like to get a pedicureAshley wrote my name down in the desired service on the note pad -and then I was approached by another sweet lady by the name of candy she said to come and sit in the area for a pedicureAnd she saw that I had my three-month-old son with me and she smiled and she said I can put the stroller nearby where I'm getting my pedicure done she was so accommodating she move the chairs out of the way and place the stroller nearby the chair while I was getting the pedicure service done-As I said It was very accommodating and I thought that it was very sweet -I really appreciate it been able to get the service done while I have my son with me--I had in mind to get the basic pedicure because I wanted to try the service out I guess mention it was my first time visiting -candy was so nice and she offered me a menu to take a look at the services on her brochure-after reviewing the brochure and having an a very pleasant conversation with candy I decided to elect to get the signature pedicure-- it was $7 more than the basic pedicureAnd the signature pedicure had everything that I needed scrub mask hot towels massage that was what I needed--After getting the pedicure service and having an a pleasant chat with candy -it was time for me feed and change my son- so I thanked candy and prepared to get money to pay for my service- candy looked down at my hands and said oh you're not getting a manicure today I explained that I had enough time to get the pedicure- and that the most important thing for me was to make sure that son was comfortable and that I was going home to feed and care for himSurprisingly Candy said I will make time for you-and  if you'd like to -I'd like to invite you into a private wax room where you can change your son and feed him if you'd like and that way you can have time to get your manicure -candy said you do so much this is time that you can make to get done for yourself I thought about what she said I smiled and I looked down and my son and he had the cutest bubbly eyes looking back at me -I decided to enter that room that candy mentioned and I proceeded to change and care for him there -he seem to be happy and therefore I was toWhen I came out of the room with my son both of us had a huge smile on my face I feel good to know that he was comfortable and he was happy because he was still with me-- Candy and her entire staff was so friendly at visit and they all made time to come over to say hello to my son and smile that made me happy as wellNow it's time for my manicure I explained that my hands pretty much stay in water and pretty much changing diapers in excess of 12 to 15 diapers a day Candy said that the Gel polish should be a great idea-I said OK candy I'll take your recommendation and I will try the Gel polish -she matched the color up with the same color from the pedicure and I was well on my way -candy made mention to the Gel polish lasting two weeks and I said that sounds good and she said the gloss /color will still remainOne thing that I like about getting this gel polish manicure if there were any questions that I had candy was more than happy to answer - I was concerned that my hand still being wet after service and she assured me that when she was done and everything in the polish was it that my nails will be completely dry and I could carry-on with my daily activities and that was important to meUpon exiting the nail salon candy wished me to have a good day and she said for me to return and I said being such a sweet person and the services that I received today rest assure that I will be back and that I appreciated her for her time and tipped her accordinglyI am happy to say that I'm glad even after reading some of the reviews that I decided to make this visit to see for myself what the experience would be like and I must say that I'm more than happy that I took the initiative to call for an appointment -google maps to find out where they were located and ultimately set out to get the service that I desired --I'd recommend this nail salon & I give it 100% five stars. I've been going to this place since it opened and I have been using Lilly for most of that time. Lilly is fabulous and I so love the time I spend chatting with her while getting my nails done. Having said that, if it were not for Lilly I wouldn't be going there. The front desk staff is (and always has been) rude beyond belief. They have no understanding of customer service. They have been rude to me on more than one occasion and I've seen them speak to other customers in a h...orrible manner. Sadly, the person that gets the worst end of the deal is the nail tech. If you choose to leave and not go back because of the front desk staff, you're not only leaving a good nail tech, you're taking away income from them and it's not their fault the front desk is rude and inefficient. I'll continue to go there because it's convenient and it's very clean and I LOVE going to Lilly. Customer beware of the attitudes you will experience when you walk through the door. If you can get past that, you'll most likely find a great nail tech. Worst experience ever. After noticing that the polish was all in my cuticles, I asked that he correct it. Instead of trying to make the client happy, he insulted my cuticles and said that it would make the polish last longer and Said I just have never had a gel manicure before. You shouldn't advertise that you close at 7:30 PM when you stop taking clients at 7:00 PM. I showed up at this location at 7:03 PM and was very rudely turned away by an employee sitting outside smoking a cigarette who clearly wanted to leave. Then I explained that it says you close at 7:30 PM on every single website, so he told me to walk inside and see what they say and I did and I was again very rudely turned away again because he stopped taking clients at 7 PM and I was three minutes late. I love this salon. I got a full set of gel nails yesterday and the lady that did them was the most lovely lady! So sweet! My only problem is that 3 out of 5 nails on my left hand are not straight they all lean to the right. I said it to the lady and she did try and fix it but it didn't 100% fix them. Had to change manicurist 3 times. Staff was rude and harsh. Hurt & damaged my fingers nails. I literally cried out in pain. Manager didn't seem to care. Staff was fighting and crying with each other. Receptionist had attitude. Had to argue my way out. Felt bullied, rushed & uncomfortable. Refused to pay and they threatened to call the police. I will never go back or recommend. Other customers we sticking up for me. I asked for owners number but they wouldn't give it to me. Owner should know. Worst experience & they told me that I was too sensitive. This place is a joke.
