I am always very hesitant about who does my hair and after moving back to Delray I have not been able to find anyone I felt comfortable going to. I looked online and found studio 34 and so I went . They paired me up with Michelle who was amazing!!! She listened to my wishes and did an amazing job!!! They are a little on the high end as far as price but I promise you it is well worth!! Review update (January 2018) - Ownership promptly call me to apologize and explain that it was a computer system glitch which caused the issue with my appointment. They even offered a complementary hair cut and Mike did an awesome work with my hair as always. Thanks so much! Review update (December 2017) - I booked my appointment online (as I usually do) and when I arrived I was told that my appointment was not in the system (even when I had the confirmation email and remainder text message). I moved to Delray Beach in December. When it comes to hair, changing stylists is a big deal. Ali is exceptional! He took the time to study my face and skin tone. I am so in love with the color and cut. You really feel like a movie star when you leave. I didn't make it to my car without receiving a compliment! The atmosphere is relaxing and welcoming. I had been to the salon a few times before my last visit for a keratin treatment and a hair cut.I was very clear in my explanation of howI wanted my haircut. My hair is not smooth in places. after the treatment.The haircut was so uneven I refused to get out of the chair. I was circled by the staff and felt ganged up on.Everyone speaking at the same time, my stylist walked away. When I went to pay, the prices I was quoted when I made the appointment weren't honored. I called the next day and I wanted to see if I could have a calm conversation with the receptionist..She was screaming so loud at me that I don't know what she said.My hair will grow. , clearly their business won't. UNISEX MY ASS! Men DO NOT go here I came out with chunks of hair longer than the rest. Went back the next day and she tells me because I asked to have it cut with scissors. WTF? Never had my haircut anywhere else even at great clips that cut my hair this bad. Anywho went back next day she tried to fix it but now the left side is shorter than the right and now I look like I have a toupee on. Read the great reviews on yelp so decided to give this place a try. I booked with Ali but some how ended up having someone else do my hair. I wanted to go back to my natural color, light brown, but was convinced to keep some of my blonde in my hair which I was excited about. Anyway, my hair came out dark brown. Nothing of what I asked for. I also asked for a trim and my hair ended up 3-4 inches shorter on top of my bangs being embarrassingly short. I will not be recommending this place to anyone. Read Less

Was able to book online, which I loved!  Got in quick and easily and didn't have to wait (1:00 p.m. on a Sat.).  Also, was able to get (and pay) for just a cut ($40 even).  (Most places "obligate" you to get a style too, so they can charge you $25 more.)Andy did a great job on my hair.  I just wanted a new, more stylish (layered) cut, which many other hairdressers, for some odd reason, really aren't skilled at.  I showed him a couple of pictures and the end result was very close!  He even semi-styled it without charging me so that I could see how it should look. :-D Read Less

I paid 1300$ for extension (140 pieces) 5 months ago, it looked nice on the beginning, now I have less then half of the hair. It's melted and I never used the warm water, if I am brushing my hair my hairbrush is extremely full of the hair well but I can put it on the head anymore! It's the reason why I gave 1* because for their a huge price I expected something really well. Actually I tried to post some pics before and now, you can see how bad it really is but I can not post pic there which they didn't want it to have. So I choosed this salon because I've seen really good reviews here but it was big mistake and their reviews by costumers are fake, I guess. Read Less

Very professional and friendly staff. Ali who does my cut and highlights is very good. He listens to my concerns about my hair and comes up with a solution. The last time I was in the salon I also had lowlights by Adam. Before going to Studio 34 I was a drab brunette who became blondish without being brassy.
