After my experience with TMT Nails, I was (and still am) in search of a new salon. I walked in to this salon when I was in Ross and made an appointment for later in the day. It was conveniently located between my office and home.I needed a fill with gel polish, which, according to the price sheet, is $35. The woman who did my nails was nice. I told her how annoyed I was at TMT, but she didn't seem interested.  I asked her if she could do a French manicure with gel polish, and she said she could but it was an additional $5 (after I left, I realized that I should've told her I wanted the pink and white gels, which is what I wanted. I don't know why I said French manicure.) There was also a charge for my two broken nails but she said she was only charging me for one (how gracious). So the $35 bill came to $43, plus a $7 tip.  The fact that she got my nails done in a half hour was a plus, let's just hope they last.While I was getting my nails done, a young woman came in and said that the polish had chipped off her pedicure. The staff seemed to give her a hard time, but then agreed to fix the polish. I thought it was kind of rude how they didn't take her back to one of the pedicure chairs to do it, but rather at one of the waiting chairs.The salon is very crisp looking and pretty. I'm a regular customer here but today I'm not so happy with the lady who did my pedicure. Lily is her name. She cut my cuticles too much and It was bleeding. She was definitely very rough (I don't complain too much normally). She also was not too friendly....Avoid her at all cost.The girl Lynn who did my manicure was pretty nice and knowledgeable. I was writing a review of a place I love, that other people seemed to either love or hate - mostly 5 star or 1 star reviews on Yelp - and that made me remember the reviews I read for Winn Nails.  I really like Winn Nails, but I hesitated to go there the first time, because it had cautionary large percentage of 1 star reviews.  Almost all of those 1 star reviews seemed to be about rude management, or rude nail techs.  I think many of these reviews are actually about cultural communication styles, with a heafty side of racism that is so in vogue these days. Winn Nails is a great little nail Salon that I have been using for years.  Their prices are reasonable, they are great at fitting both of us in at the same time, even when they are busy, and I am being unreasonable about only using my favorite Nail Tech, and they do a first rate job on my nails. And, my nails a very hard to do!  I have Raynauds, so I need acrylic nails to cover and replace the nails that I do not have.  I do not have nails that most people would recognize as nails, and many salons simply say no, or they give it a try without doing any research on what works with Raynauds clients.  I love my Nail Tech, Lynn.  Lynn, MUAH!  So, much like the last review I just wrote, don't let the one star reviews of this place put you off.  The manager communicates in a very strident almost combative Asian street vendor kind-of way, with only marginal English skills, but that does not detract from the price, quality, and service his salon provides.   Give Winn Nails a try, but don't Bogart my Lynn. Finally!!! After going from place to place, person to person, I have found a nail technician I love!! Travis at Winn Nails is not only excellent at doing my next gen nails and pedicure, but he is pleasant, professional and NOT creepy!!LOL! I'm giving this spa 2 starts because of their customer service. Although my nails are looking nice enough for the price (very cheap compared to other places), I felt rushed by my manicurist the whole time I was there. She wasn't delicate at all and I was hurt a couple times and left with glue on my hands and fingers. This is not the first time I get acrylic nails, is a process that can take about an hour, she got them done in 25-30 minutes. I work everyday so I was expecting to relax and enjoy, instead I was rushed and stressed out. So if you wanna feel rush, not relax at all and wanna get your nails done in seconds (at your own risk, because mine were hurting all night after this), call them. I went for a gel nail extension by 6:15 pm, i donno if the guy did my nail extension was in hurry or not but he literally tortured my nail and moreover he put the nail extension in such a way ,every single friend of mind told me it is looking like round clay on my nails. They have 14 pedicure and 16 manicure chairs. There was no wait on Friday afternoon, however you can schedule an appointment online. They're competitively priced for the area - a basic pedicure is $23. They have a few other upgraded options depending on your needs. The higher end pedicures come with a complimentary glass of wine! They provide a complimentary bottle of water for other services. My favorite part: the citrus scrub they used on my feet/legs. It had a wonderful citrus smell. I did not know what to expect since it was my first time at this salon.  My friend Hina M. recommended it due to the close proximity from her house.  We wanted a much needed mani pedi date so I was ok with trying a new place.  My friend made my appointment for manicure only.  She misunderstood what I wanted but really I needed to get a pedicure more than a manicures. The salon was busy but when I explained to them that I needed both services, instead of making me wait longer like they were telling walk in appointments.  They just told me that they will get a employee to do both services instead of just one and I only waited a few minutes.  The manager was really nice and made sure the water for my pedicure was started etc and no time was wasted. Lena did my manicure and pedicure. She did an excellent job on my feet.  They totally needed the TLC with the gross/hot weather causing them to be so dry and worn out looking.  She was professional and courteous while asking if I needed anything to drink etc. I'm blessed with good nail genes so I did not need fake nails or gel nails. I opted for just the regular manicure/pedicure. Even with regular mani/pedi she took her time and made sure I was happy with my nails. I loved my experience here plus they are relatively new ( open less than two years) so everything is nice and clean.  It's the prefect place to get your nails taken care of.  My friend got the Nextgen nails in white and loved them. I had such high hopes for Winn nail salon sense it is so close :( just went there for the first time and I had nexgen, deluxe pedicure (which has the extra stuff), and an eyebrow wax. My appointment started at 930 and it was over by 1030! 1 hr for all that? The girl was rushing so much. I have given this place multiple chances and I keep getting disappointed and wasting my money ... last time my nails looked grown out when I left the salon and the nail tech did a sloppy job.... this time my nexgen is bumpy And the top coat has bubbled and they look clunky! The nail tech was super nice but she blamed the bumps on having to put an artificial tip on. I have had nex gen with tips before and know that it can be smooth. I treat my self once or twice a year to a pedicure so for me its a luxury and sub par services just don't cut it with me. I received a terrible pedicure, first they did not file my nails correctly, just grazed a file across all of them at the same time, same with pushing my cuticles back and cutting them, they did the motion but didn't actually do anything. They didn't use any acetone or alcohol to remove any oil or lotion residue from my nail bed before polishing. They did not use a foot file on the heels of my feet but used a pumice which does not smooth out the rough edges so my feet still have dead skin. Pumice is also something that can not be properly sterilized because it is porous. My polish was a very light color and they managed to get it on my skin . I also saw a nail tech drop a pumice on the floor and then continue to use it. Never again. Took a total of 25 minutes from start to finish and I was soaking 5 of those minutes. There were other customers who were there before me and still being serviced when I was done. I was told I should upgrade to the "deluxe​" package that's 50 dollars to get a paraffin wax for my dry skin. Funny how when I use a foot file at home it does the same job. Ill stick to my at home pedicures or just literally flush 23 dollars down the drain and end up with better results. Will post pictures later in good lightingRead Less

I have been to this salon several times, my regular person has left but I went anyway as the salon is clean and convenient. I had an appointment with Kenny. He was awful, cut my cuticles badly to the point of bleeding and then informed me it was my fault as I " have too much tissue" I have never been told that in 53 years! The whole pedicure lasted a whole 18 minutes, the polish was bubbled, uneven and plain sloppy! I informed the manager when I was able to really look at my nails and asked that someone repaint them. Kenny looked at his workmanship and stated that they looked fine. Not so! Lynn redid the polish and re shaped and filed them. However I will NOT return. I came here on Wednesday February 15, 2017 at about 5:15 pm. I had a scheduled appointment with Kenny and I WILL NEVER COME HERE AGAIN IN MY LIFE!!! I REPEAT NEVER!!! I have come here several times before but I started noticing my price kept increasing mind you, I've never had any designs on my nails before except for this last time. My total for a pedicure and my nails was $90. How does that make since?My pedicure was $35 and my nails were $55. How? My nails are so basic. I had a gel fill overlay done over my real nails with regular polish. But here's the kicker. I was charged to have my real nails filed. Why? That's your job as a nail technician. To file my nails that was $10. He charged me fair a nail repair on my real nails. Why? You didn't repair anything you put gel over my real nails. It fixed itself automatically!!!! It's not like I had acrylic or fake nails on where you had to take the crap off and start over. There was no silk wrap over my nails or anything like that. You just put gel over my real nails!!! Then I had polka dots on both of my pinkies and a heart on each of my ring finger. No charms, bedazzlements or anything like that. THEY DON'T HAVE CHARMS!!!30 for gel fill over REAL NAILS!$10 FOR DESIGNS (VERY ELEMENTARY BASIC DESIGNS!!!)$10 to FILE MY NAILS!!!! on their website it states "extra long/ballerina shape $5 & up" my nails are very short! and not ballerina shape so where is the $10 coming from?.....$5 for nail repair/YOU DIDN'T REPAIR CRAP!!Save your hard earned money and go else where. They think they're some high end nail spa! And they try to get away with charging these ridiculous prices because they're in Coral Springs. OH  PLEASE!!SAVE YOUR MONEY! If your black this isn't the place for you even if it's in your neighbor hood. I had a horrible experience being the only black women there to get serviced. My service wasn't even half way done and the tech asked me to pay emmidiately rudely. I monitored every tech there and they didn't ask the white customers to pay now. My tech didn't even do the hand massage or apply lotion on my hands the way the others were doing. For my pedicure service I was serviced by Jennie, she was a total sweet heart. If I was only serviced by her I would have rated this place a 5 star. But I ask all my colored women and men to stay away from a place that doesn't even acknowledge you because of your skin color and they don't even know that you are capable of buying out the entire company. My tip to this nail salon is "Don't judge a book by its cover" you never know what wealthy black person might come in and tip you more than what you'd make in a hour. I walked pass Winn when I was going to Target that is located in the same plaza. It looks very clean and elegant so I decided to give it a try. Even though they were busy but I did not have to wait. I came in with my Mom and daughter to get mani/pedis. My deluxe pedicure was ok but definitely not worth the amount of money I spent on it.  Wasn't anything special. They did gel over my moms acrylic nails but when she asked for French they told her that the nails were too old for that polish. ? I've never heard that before in my life and my moms nails weren't "old". Then they told her in the middle of her manicure that they didn't have time to do her pedicure. Are you serious?? That is the most obnoxious thing I've ever heard. How do you tell someone that you can do their nails and then tell them no after you've already begun, taking away their chance to go elsewhere if they so choose? I've never had that happen either. My mom said he guy who did her nails was not nice, which is disappointing to hear because my Mom is older and deserves respect and kindness just like anyone else. My manicure was $14...ripoff. Overall I would say this is a nice looking salon but I've been there 3 times now and the only time it was good was when Nancy was my technician and she doesn't work there anymore. Hm. Wonder why.
