Listen ladies be careful of this salon.Thr Manager is very nice and receptionists are welcoming however the nail techs do no know what they are doing.I have to go every week for touch up because my nails keep breaking and this can be frustrating.The last time I went there to get a manicure(Nex Gen),the nail tech had me bleeding on almost all 8 fingers because she claimed she was removing cuticle but not with the cuticle tool.She was grilling my skin with the machine and hiding my bleeding.I was in pain for so long and couldn’t do my job properly.I went back to make a complaint ,the manager was nice as usual but this lady was very rude and denied that she even made me bleed.I will never be returning here and would NEVER recommend to anyone.All that glitters is not gold so save your money and find a better and safer salon. the pricing is literally ridiculous, dude. i’ve never paid more than $35 for a full set and polish and this boujee for no reason place charged me $70 for the most basic service!! when i came in, they told me, the starting price was $25. the pedicure took like 15 minutes and i paid $35 for it. while i was picking my color, my nail tech kept coming over and asking me if i was done yet. i was with my mom and she got a pedicure too and i paid for it— ended up paying a total of $145 for two pedicures and a full set. i can’t believe the scam that this place is. maybe if they got rid of the waterfall and didn’t paint frickin murals on the ceiling, they wouldn’t have to charge people an arm and a leg for nail polish. It’s amazing how one experience can ruin all of your great experiences. I’ve been using Ivy for almost a year now. I specifically called 2 hours in advance and requested Ivy. They said no problem. I came in prepared to get the Seacret pedicure with Ivy since I already know she does a great job. I get there and the front desk girl tells me she messed up and scheduled me with someone else but not to worry that Ivy would be free in 10 minutes. fine, I’ll wait for Ivy. 20 minutes... later, I walk up to the front desk girl and tell her that if that Ivy is going to be much longer someone else can take me. The front desk girl tells me Ivy is finishing up and will be 5 minutes. So 5 minutes later i get called over to pedicure chair and say I’ll be right back and run to the restroom and come back and someone else is sitting there to do my pedicure. What!??? So i say something and the front desk girl tells me she assumed I would just want someone else. NOOOO that was 20 minutes ago when I had been waiting. I’m sure the girl who was about to start my pedicure was great, but it wasn’t the point. Now his place has annoyed me so much that I went from getting the most deluxe pedicure to just wanting yo leave with a basic. The manager came over and said he took responsibility for the front desk girl. He didn’t have to. She didn’t even seem to care. I made it clear to the manager I was now going from the Seacret pedicure to a basic and he said sorry and walked away. REALLY??? Will not be returning to this place. Nextgen is the way to go, as well as an appointment with Erica. Erica is wonderful in her attention to detail, professionalism, kindness and took the time to explain answers to my questions. Many moons ago I had acrylic nails and I did not like the upkeep nor the thickness and damage it did to my nails. So I have been going along in life painting my own nails and maintaining them. Friends of mine surprised me the first time with an appointment with Erica for Nextgen  nails. I was super skeptical and nervous because I didn't want to ruin my natural nails, however wouldn't mind not having to paint them so frequently. So Erica explained the process to me and showed me the soft smoothing tool that doesn't cause the same damage I had in the past. The first time she put a small tip on the ends of my nails since my nails were not even and this time my nails are even and did not need tips. The Nextgen has vitamins in the powder to help your natural nail stay conditioned too. I am definitely happy with the product. I had 3 weeks of wear out of my manicure with zero chips at all. Friends could not believe that it had been 3 weeks when I told them. They raved on how perfect they look. Yes grown out, however still no chips at all. I went to my local Venetian Nail Salon yesterday and will never go back. They led me to and then left me sitting in a pedicure chair for probably 20 minutes without allowing me to soak my feet (I’ve been getting pedicures for about 13 years and this was a first), then did my pedicure without the skin having time to soften, which left me still with rough feet even though I paid the $5 extra for callus removal...which should definitely include a good soak in hot water. I asked ...for gel polish since it was below freezing outside and I couldn’t wear flip flops, but they didn’t tell me that there would be an outrageous $20 upcharge. Yes, TWENTY dollars for gel vs. regular nail polish. This is something I’ve never paid more than a $5 upgrade fee for at any salon. Interesting fact: on their services menu, they include that a French manicure is a $5 upcharge to a manicure or pedicure service (this is typical for any nail salon), but never mention that using a gel polish will cost you as much as another manicure or pedicure. Only two other customers were in the salon the entire time I was there, so I’m afraid that they basically stole $20 from me to make up for a slow Saturday. I’ve gotten a gel polish manicure and pedicure at the Venetian Nail Salon at The Summit in Birmingham, Alabama on several occasions and never was charged $20 extra for gel polish. I paid for two of my sisters to get the same thing and their technicians did not add $20 for gel polish either. As a very pregnant woman on a very tight budget, I not only cannot reach my own feet to give myself a pedicure, but I also went to your salon to save money rather than going to a much nicer, much cleaner salon (that does not illegally use razor blades, a practice that was banned in the state of Missouri in 2009), but with this outrageous upcharge, I spent only $5 less than I would have at a very nice salon that would have given me a much better pedicure and overall experience. I sincerely hope that this situation will be made right because no matter how much I’ve tried to brush it off since yesterday afternoon, I can’t. Pinecrest location on 136. Been here before but today i took my daughter who had dip powder on her nails. She asked for a gel manicure. They put acrylic on top of her nail!!!!!! They said they got confused. So not only did they get confused but they left her old brown polish on her nail and put acrylic on top of that and then gel on top of that!!!! Venetian is my go to nail salon every time - both this location and the Coconut Creek in The Promenade location.  I am not a regular, but rather I have always been a walk-in kind of person when it comes to manicures and pedicures - whenever the spa spirit arises.  The atmosphere at Venetian Nail Spa brings me back again and again.  I feel relaxed and tranquil, perhaps it is the complimentary wine.Other nail salons feel chaotic to me.The lavender paraffin wax treatment is wonderful and definitely worth the $10 add on. Incredibly overpriced for really awful service. First rule of running a business, DONT LIE TO YOUR CUSTOMERS. I came on a busy Saturday and was told the wait was 15 minutes. I waited 35 minutes. If it's a long wait, TELL ME! Don't let me sitting there wasting my valuable time. Second, BOTH girls at the front desk were texting constantly. I've never seen anything like it. Last month I have the anniversary of my wedding day so I went Venetian Nail Spa for made a mani. This place has stolen by my heart. They welcomed me really warm. The worst nail salon!!!Just because it looks pretty inside doesn't mean it is good service.$28 pedicure and no massage, wouldn't cut my nails, tried to charge $5 for special nail polish. I told her the polish I selected didn't say more money and she was like yes it does yes it does. She walked over to the spot and realized she was wrong and never offered an apology (name Jeanette). They are a little more expensive than other nail spas around town so keep that in mind. The actual spa is far nicer than those other spas around town. All of their massage chairs actually work!!  Super clean. They don't reuse any of the product on the next client. Today we stop at Venetian Nails Spa for a manicure. We love their experience! Staff are friendly and enthusiastic..The interior decor is decorative with a nice chandelier in the center and price was very reasonable. I absolutely love Venetian Nails Spa. I highly recommend Venetian Nails Spa nail. I always go here and I decided to do generally get shellac . A few days after I got it, my nails started peeling. They were so amazing toward me. Did not treat me badly, apologized profusely and fixed my nails free of charge. I was very friendly and did great work. The rest of the staff seemed the same, especially the management up front. They have a very organized operation and make sure that everyone is tended to quickly. I just  got a gel manicure  and it honestly looks as if I had done it myself  at  home, cuticles  not properly groomed, there are air bubbles in the polish, the person doing my nails splashed nail polish on the sides of my fingers, and when asked if he could remove  it, he replied the excess polish would  go away later with wate, which is potentially true, but it is my opinion that if I'm  paying  over 30 dollars for a manicure I should  leave the place  with nails looking  like a professional did them, not as if I had done them at home.Hopefully other people have better luck at this location.
