The salon is nice and clean which is the reason for the 3 stars.  As far as the service it's really poor, I arrive for my appointment and end up with three different manicurist working on my nails just for a regular manicure. They clearly are understaffed and try to get as many people in as possible while neglecting service.  I've been quite a few times and it just seems to be getting worse. I was extremely happy with the service here! This nail salon is next to the furniture store Pure Project Home on Biltmore way in Coral Gables. Everyone who works here is attentive and did an excellent job at buffing my nails and making me feel relaxed and welcomed. This is the best street to be on because you can get AWESOME service at Pure Project Home while buying furniture, and AWESOME service while getting your nails done. I was in town for business and wanted to take a break for a gel manicure and a pedicure. I called ahead and the receptionist was very nice and professional. When I got there, one woman worked on my mani and another on my pedi, which I can't say was the most comfortable experience. I was not able to communicate with either of the two techs (my Spanish is terrible and they did not appear to speak a word of English), which is fine, except that they seemed to be having some type of tension or disagreement between the two of them. One was super nice and the other was quite rude and impatient, and was being aggressive with my nails. My nails initially looked nice but geez, what an awkward and horrible way to spent over an hour, in silence while two people basically fight while doing your nails. To make matters worse, I returned home and after a day or two, the clear topcoat of my manicure became yellowish and cloudy, as if they had diluted the polish with a chemical they should not have. It looked gross so I had the gel removed/replaced at my regular salon after only a week. What a waste of money. I don't travel to Miami often, but if I did, I definitely would NOT come back here. The lady who did my nails took her time(3hrs roughly) and did a decent job on my hands but not on my feet. No massages at all. The receptionist was understandable and nice. The owner charged $20 extra just for the glitter polish added to the manicure. I can understand salons usually charge $5 extra for French manicure. But $20 for just sprinkles of glitter on top? Ridiculous! That is much less effort then doing a French and the polish surely isn't more expensive. The total I paid, I could have gotten a royal treatment elsewhere. They do a really nice job on the manicure usually. There is an app you can download to book appointments called MINDBODY that makes the process simple and easy to choose your favorite nail technician. The price is very high for that they offer though. $55 is their gel and regular pedicure price when they have their special Mon thru Wed, it's 60 every other day. They usually don't offer a drink and the pedicure chairs dont have the massage function, so I don't really see the justification for the price. Read Less

They cut and file your nails uneven, don't know how to answer the phone, your nails chip within 48 hours and their prices aren't worth how the ladies work. This place is HORRIBLE. The nail tech took 2 hours to do a gel mani and regular pedi. The owner had to step in and fix her work!!! Even after this horrible experience, I decided to give this place another chance, because - everyone can have an off day. I called to make an appointment on a Tuesday for Friday. The lady that answered the phone was SUPER RUDE. She proceeded to tell me that the manicurist I requested was not available. When I told her I didn't request anyone in particular, she hung up on me. I never have to wait long when I have an appointment and my gel manicure always last at least two weeks. Yes, they are on the pricier side, but they deliver so that doesn't bother me. The owners truly care about this business and it shows in every aspect from the quality of the polishes they offer to the fact that each customer gets freshly sanitized tools for their service. I made an appointment for 6 and waited around 20 minutes. It's a very nice set up, they have going on. Very clean and modern. When I originally called they said a mani-pedi was $35. My nail tech was very sweet. When it came to the work, I was not impressed. I still have cuticles on my nails and the paint job on both my hands and feet look mediocre.. When I went to go pay it was $40, not $35. It was false information given over the phone and although I left feeling pampered, the work on both my hands and feet diminished my good feeling due to the paint having bubbles, lint, minimal cuticle removal and paint over my cuticle. Terrible service. Phone etiquette when I called before was rude. They don't have hot water so I had to soak in luke warm water; they don't fill up the bowl past your ankles. The foot scrub was two seconds on each foot at which point I told them to forget it. (Who the hell wants fresh painted toes with dead skin. I would just get a polish change) The pedicurist told me she would do better so I would stay. So she scrubbed a little longer. When it was time to do my mani, she didn't remove the gel all the way claiming that it was not important since she was painting over it. (My pet peeve) At the register they charged me an extra 10 without telling me anything and when I asked her to break it down she said it was bc they don't normally do "thorough pedicures". Read Less

There have been good and bad experiences at this place, but for the most part, they are not friendly and they are not concerned with customer service. Today they booked me for an appointment with someone I like and then switched me to another manicurist because they messed up and double booked the one I wanted. The woman I was with instead was slow and sloppy. She was hurting me every time she cut a cuticle and my nails were cut unevenly. I have never in my life gotten up mid manicure and left a salon....until today. And another time I went a few weeks ago one of the manicurists put the polish on so thick that it still wasn't even dry the next day. I'm never going back again. Read Less

I'm the girl who gets a manicure and within 24 hours has managed to get a chip, which only increases as the hours progress. My good friend gets her gel nails done here and highly recommended them. Since I was jetting off to Europe for 2 weeks, I figured it was a good time to put them to the test. I made my appointment with the same girl she uses, Saily, and I am a geliever! My gel lasted a whole 3 weeks- despite the fact you could see the growth- intact! Saily was super sweet and took her time- this is not a factory process here where they want you in and out as fast as possible.  She was super meticulous cutting all my cuticles with such tenderness I didn't feel a thing, as well as painting each nail to perfection! I could have left without her cleaning them they were that well done. They have a plethora of amazing colors to choose from- so many I had a hard time choosing! The place is super chic and clean. They run a special for $55 Monday-Wednesday for a gel mani and a regular pedi. Even her pedi lasted well over a month! It's definitely a great return on investment! I've been coming here every week for the last 2 months because I have never found such an amazing place like this one. ALL the nail techs are amazing. Yes, ALL! I've continued with Jenny who is not only amazing but also hilarious and makes you feel great. They all have a specific cleaning nail technique which is what makes the biggest difference in your nails looking literally PERFECT. I also love that they never rush another reason why my nails look perfect when I leave. I only do regular polish.. This place is heaven on earth to all women!This is my first review on Yelp ever. My Time is definitely worthy of it. I have been going to this nail bar to get my manicures and pedicures for a few months now. I have to say every single time has been a very pleasant experience. I have tried several of the nail techs and have not had one bad experience. It seems as though the owner carefully selected employees that were only going to provide excellent service to clients. I always leave this place with a smile on my face. Customer service is great. The place is clean and nicely decorated. All of their tools come straight out of a sterilizing kit. Every single time. Foot tubs are individually wrapped with a liner and they bring fresh water to soak your feet in. So you're not getting remnants of other people's bacteria from a shared waterline pipe. They are meticulous with the work they do. If it's not perfect, they will make sure it is. If you can't decide on a color, they take their time in helping you chose the right one until YOU are happy. Heck, they have even willingly offered to completely remove all my polish after they were done and redo them if they thought I wasn't happy. Unlike other places where if you even mess up a nail and ask them to fix it you get attitude in return. If you're short on time and need a quick makeover, they will have one technician doing your mani, another your pedi and someone blow drying your hair! Where else can you go and get all three things done in an hour??? But best of all, their prices are reasonable! Don't think just because it's in Coral Gables you're going to pay "Coral Gables prices." They even have specials on some of their services on Tuesdays. This place is adorable, reminiscent of drybar with the yellow color in the logo. The inside is clean and I love the look - simple white and gray, with lots of natural light. I called in and made an appointment for Monday at 2pm and had no problem. Called on Monday and asked to bump it up to noon, again no problem. During my appointment, there was only one other customer there. No waiting, but this wasn't exactly peak time. I opted for a gel mani with the color 'Utaupia' (get it!? Hehehe). I absolutely adore this color; especially for this time of year. The whole process took about 45 minutes and my nail technician was very meticulous.
