I found Icon Nails through Yelp and wanted to try it out since I need to find a permanent nail spot for myself. Safe to say that I will be coming to Icon Nails for as long as I'm in Miami. Found them on Yelp and booked my appointment for my Dipp manicure on the same day. Eva did my Dipp manicure and it was impeccable. She was very nice and made sure I was happy every step of the way. Pricing was very fair. If I lived closer I would probably be there every other week. Parking was easy; as they have a metered parking lot right across the street with plenty of parking spaces. Came in today for a very basic mani pedi. Clear coat ($40) and decided to treat myself a little and upgrade my pedi getting a 5 minute massage with hot towel which came out to $55 but it's ok because Melissa did a great quality job and was very nice. upsell, upsell, upsell!! I came in wanting a full set of acrylics with regular nail polish, and was exasperated with the nail tech trying to upsell the services. I live and work in the gables and this is my nail spot! I'm not a Spanish speaker so it's refreshing for me to walk in to a nail salon in Miami and I can have a conversation with Tony the owner and my nail technician. It's a very clean and friendly place. I just tried the SNS nail powder with Eva and I'm hooked, no more gel for me. It also doesn't hurt that I can have a glass of wine or champagne on the house with my service. Read Less

Ehhh. The gel manicure cost me $35. The staff was very nice and welcoming. The salon was clean and tidy. It's not anything luxurious so don't expect going somewhere like that. the lady that did my nails was okay, it kind of annoyed me she was on her phone almost all the time. They also don't use the real shellac brand for gel, they use another nail polish. What I did see was that their specialty is really on acrylics. I'd come back for a quick manicure. Read Less

Came across this nail spa on Yelp and I couldn't be happier I did! I naturally have long and pretty strong nails, I had been getting acrylic overlays for about 6 months to keep length. After removing my acrylic I realized just how damaged and thin my nails were. Eva was my tech and convinced me to try SNS dip instead and let me tell you, I LOVED IT! She's incredibly meticulous and ensured they were perfectly done. One of my nails was halfway torn and the SNS was strong enough to allow it not to break yet veryyyyy thin, you would never get the thinness with acrylic. I was also thrilled at how quick I was in and out, 30-45 mins and done. The spa is clean and they offer you wine which is always a plus. Thank you yelp for helping me find this nail salon! I was looking for a new salon that would have techs that pay attention to detail , and make me feel like they actually care about what I have to say. So naturally I go to yelp and look up nail salons and I come across this one , and the reviews were very good so I called and made an appointment Saturday I go in and get a pedicure, sns powder and a Brazilian wax. Eva is so comforting and so nice and she made me a permanent believer of sns . My nails look better than they did with acrylic . She carefully filed until my almond shape was perfect. I came here for the first time for SNS nails and pedicure. I had Melissa for my pedicure. I chose the Lavender pedicure, which was heavenly.  She was super friendly and did a great job, especially the long massage. Eva was fantastic and did my SNS nails beautifully and correctly- without UV light top coat. Other places I had tried did not do the true SNS without the UV light, but this salon does it right! I have been a client for a while- Eva just removed my acrylics to switch to SNS. During the acetone soak to to remove the acrylics I opted for the channel pedicure. It was amazing!!! Massage, scrub, paraffin, mask, hot towels and super long massage!! Omg! It was great! I digress- acrylics were very gently removed and long nails were intact. Eva shaped them into a lovely coffin shape and proceeds with the SNS dip process. I was very happy! Will defiantly do it again. I made a little video on iMovie while I waited for my ride! I tried Icon Nails for the first time and I must say it was overall a nice experience . They were very welcoming , they offered a complimentary drink of your choice on the menu , and different options on pedicure and manicure among other services . I really wanted to like this place. I read so many great reviews that I thought I would have a great experience. Sadly that wasn't the case. I went with my sister to get the SNS manicure. Most of my nails were a good length but two were very short (right pointer and left ring finger) so I asked tips to be added so that they would all look even. When adding the tips, my technician did not seem to pay attention to the length of my other nails because he was going to leave them super long. I had to ask him to shorten them and pointed out how they didn't match my other nails. In the end they still weren't the same size but I figured I'd file them down myself at home. And talking about filing, my natural nails were filed at a weird angle (see thumb pic). The application of the SNS was great, but I felt like he wasn't paying attention to the basic aesthetics like are the nails filed correctly and are all they all as even as possible? With the awesome reviews this place got I did not think something so basic would be a problem. With what we paid I expected more from the salon. My sister had a different technician and thing's didn't go any better for her, but I'll let her write her own review. I don't know if I'll give the salon another chance because besides the actual service, we didn't feel welcome at all.5/24/17Just removed the polish and I have deep dents in several of my nails where the technician over-buffed (with the electronic machine, not manually). The SNS manicure isn't supposed to damage your natural nail, so I think perhaps they do not know how to properly apply the product. Definitely not returning. Read Less

Eva is fantastic! She fit me in as a walk-in, did a fantastic job on my pink-and-whites, and even referred me to a good hair salon since I am new to the area. My friend has been going to Eva for years and knows how picky I am about my nails. So when I went for the first time yesterday I could not have been happier. Everyone there is so nice, Eva did an absolutely amazing job on my nails (SNS gel dip magical wizardry) and eyebrows. My pedicure, I forgot the name of the woman who did it, but was also perfect. I've gotten a regular manicure, acrylic nails, and an eyebrow wax here. All three were walk-ins, and I was pleased with relatively how quickly they were able to receive me for the services. For the most part the prices are on a scale for all services, some being on the cheap end ($12 for eyebrow wax and $15 for a regular manicure) and pricey for others ($55 for a full set of acrylics with gel polish). The regular manicure is a great value because they use a great quick dry top coat which not many salons use. Eyebrow wax was great, not too much was taken off and the shaping was done well. The acrylics came out nicely, my technician was nice about emulating the references picture I gave him. The only thing is that he was a bit rough during the shaping process, and I learned later that I was sensitive to the drill used to file down my natural nails in preparation for the acrylics. My sore fingers lasted all of 12 hours; I'll see if for next time I can ask him to go more lightly. Otherwise, great find in the Gables if you need your nails done last minute and well! Read Less

Had the best manicure and pedicure today! Ken had the precision of a surgeon, the results are gorgeous! I am thrilled to have this nail salon close to home. The price is right and quality outstanding. As a very busy professional, I don't have time to spend 2 hours getting my nails done. Hate that I love this place after just my first visit. First my cons: they charge $35 for a gel mani. $25 is typical in spa like salons and I've yet to visit a Gables salon that charges $35 for gel. However, I'm in love with the work. The detail and quality I just got in THIRTY MINUTES beats most jobs I've gotten in an hour. (Which now I have 30 extra min in the Gables because i definitely calculated this visit taking an hour...The paint job is impeccable, I have zero cuticles left and they just look AMAZING. Im in shock at how great they look in just 30 min. So idk, $35 for a half hour AMAZING job may be worth it because I'm tired of spending an hour at the salon for JUST my nails. Next time I visit icon I'll have to do a mani pedi and see if I leave within the hour! This is a small place and hard to find, its in the same building that Ruth's Chris steakhouse is in so if you don't see the salon, park around there anyway, its right next to the Adeva salon sign. Parking in the Gables is ALWAYS a mission but there's a very large parking lot right across the street. So all in all, even though Coral Gables is no longer on my list of day to day trips, I'll be back just for Icon...five stars because I can't deny the amazing services. Read Less
