I always try to give great reviews but I simply can't after today. The last straw!We called to confirm our pedis and were told to come 20 minutes later because they were running behind. When we showed up 25 minutes later due to Uber, we were told that they did not have enough time to accommodate us but we could get a polish change instead! ONE of us got a full one, the other must have been incorrectly booked! I have been a regular at this place for two years!The atmosphere is one of the best in Miami UNLESS the owner is there!!! She openly berates her employees and technicians IN FRONT of the clients while they try to enjoy a relaxing experience!! It seems unbelievable as she has gone to such lengths to create a great and relaxing environment, only to be destroyed by her bitching out her employees! I can't tell you how uncomfortable it felt to me in the middle of what she believed to be an employee screw up, only to have her realize she was wrong! It was embarrassing to all that has to experience this but the owner was completely oblivious as to what she has just put everyone through while we PAID to be there!Great concept, could not be executed any worse! I cannot say enough about how great I thought this place was. I made a same-day appointment for a gel removal and regular manicure, and they were able to accommodate me. This place is super cute and chic, my technician was super nice, talkative and friendly but my mani/pedi was not that amazing and specially for the price. I went with my friend to have a relaxing time, which we did but after leaving I noticed the painting was really bad (as you can see in the pictures below) my nails have bubbles, you can see that the second base was not done properly and it just looks a hot mess, also the clear top was left on my cuticles and it just dried up there.. honestly really loved the decor, but they need to step up on their service. This review is based on my experiences at GLOSS for waxing. Sandra is by far the best eyebrow wax artist I have ever come across. She takes her time to ensure your brow becomes perfectly sculpted into two.  She is extremely professional and very meticulous. It is worth every penny! Every time I leave here, I get so many compliments on how great the brows look. The decor of GLOSS is very trendy, cool, and sophisticated. There is a small waiting area at the front of the store. The waxing rooms are in the back, hidden away from the main area.  It is a nice setup because you never feel like you are in the way of someone else enjoying their service.The only "downsides" worth mentioning are that you'll need to give yourself plenty of time to secure a parking spot if you drive due to the location, and I would strongly suggest making an appointment. GLOSS is typically bustling and busy, and it is very easy to make an online appointment. The online appointment booker also sometimes sends out coupons.  Lastly, go and see Sandra! The spa is elegant, inviting and clean. The products are natural and the spa is basically odor-free. The nail colors are beautiful and the staff and manicurists are friendly and professional. Once I moved to South Florida over 3 years ago, I stopped getting regular manicures & pedicures- I just couldn't find a place I liked. That is until I found GLOSS. Though I've been regularly seeing Tanya for the past 8 months, I have never had a less than stellar experience with any of the other girls. From the complimentary beverages (tea/coffee/water or wine) to the essential oils used in the hand and foot massages- you are well taken care of. They offer a new Bio Seaweed Gel which has provided me with gorgeous chip-free nails for up to 3 weeks at a time, with no damage. Most importantly (to me) is that GLOSS is beyond clean- no jet tubs, no gross box of reused nail tools- everything is sterilized via an autoclave or disposed of after each guest. My only complaint is that GLOSS is so far from my house in Broward- but totally worth the trip! Read Less

Clean place with a nice environment and friendly people. However, the actual manicure and pedicure was not so good- Magda doesn't paint the whole nail and the clear coat doesn't overlap the polish fully so you are left with ridges. Granted I gave her several chances- went every week for a month and half straight (keep in mind that mani + pedi are $55) - went weekly. So when I told her what I wanted- like cover the entire nail with the polish and top coat- she would simply say she understood but continued to do the same thing.
