Service was okay. The language barrier was a bit of an issue. I got gel for my hands and toes, it was sloppily done and a few of my toes and fingers didn’t even make it until Friday (I got my nails done on Monday) she painted over my cuticles so it started getting caught in my hair and my toes were getting caught on my socks. I didn’t bother to bend over and go over each toe or finger because I only heard great things from this nail salon. A total waste of 78$ Very disappointed. Won’t come back or reccomend to anyone. I love this place. I’ve been coming here for over 7 years and they always do an incredible job. I go religiously every 2 weeks for a mani pedi. I just discovered this salon and I can’t wait to go back. They have so many color selections you don’t even know where to start. They also have a “Mood” Gel color that changes with the temperature of your hands ! That’s what I got and I love it. Julie did my nails, she’s super sweet and she’s good. I have been doing my nails here for years, and they never disappointed. Prices are very reasonable. Usually they are very busy. I’ve been going to this nail salon for about 8-9 years. No matter where I move or how hard I try, I can NEVER seem to find anywhere that works as well as these ladies do, or who are as friendly and nice as these ladies are. The nail bar is the cream of the crop! Hands down my favorite nail salon and the best quality service I’ve ever experienced. Angie and the rest of the staff are amazing. I live in Palisades Park and do not mind the drive to Hoboken to get an amazing pedicure and manicure. They make sure I am satisfied with the look before I leave. There was one time where Angie went out of her way to call me to see if coming in earlier would be better for me since someone canceled. Another plus was that they are really good with matching the gel nail polish color with regular nail polish. The places I have gone in the past usually lack the compatibility. Walked in today at 5pm to ask about getting a pedicure. Place was empty apart from one lady getting a manicure. The lazy staff sat there giving me dirty looks telling me they don't have to take walk in customers and that their manager has the day off. They clearly had time but do not want to work. They barely speak English and were struggling to get me out of the place as soon as possible. This happened to me last time I went for a pedicure too. This is called being to big for your britches. They really don't care about losing customers because of their location. What they need to know is Ladies in Hoboken talk and bad service is not acceptable as there are dozens of other nail salons within walking distance. I do my nails religiously every 2 weeks, and this time I wasn't able to go to my usual spot. My friend told me about this place and I decided to try it out since it's close to my job. We have come here on several occasions over the last couple of years. Upside is that the staff is friendly, pretty quick and very good at taking walk-ins without much of a wait. Downside is that my wife usually gets shellac, but it seems less and less worth it, as her nails start chipping and peeling within the first week, when it should stay in decent shape for 2-3 weeks. Not sure if it has to do with the method or the gel itself, but it doesn't seem worth the price anymore for that. Read Less

I came here for the convenience of it being open until 8pm and usually these places have a short wait. I did a regular mani/pedi. The Pedi was okay, but during the manicure the lady butchered my nails with her nail file, they ended up super short and uneven, but they were so close to the skin that she could not file them any more to try and even them out. Then the nail polish application looked as if a 5 year old did it: super thick coats of color and top coat which took forever to dry and was very uneven, bumpy and all over the edges of my nails and skin. One word for this Place H O R R I B L E !This was my first time coming to this nail salon i needed a refill done quick and during my lunch hour. I called before to make sure if i needed an appointment the lady told me no that i can just walk in but i wanted to make one just in case. When i went to the salon even with an appointment i had to wait 20-30 min. Finally when i was helped a man did my nails and he was so rude with an attitude and did my nails horrible i had to fix them myself and keep stopping him to make sure the shape wasn't crooked. FINALLY After an hour in a half my nails were done they came out pretty decent so i was okay about them. Literally a day later one nail broke so easily while i was grabbing something and then today i closed my car door and the nail came off and i didn't even feel it and now i'm literally taking all of them off so easily and my money was completely wasted. This place is right next to my house and i needed a pedicure asap, my lady is out of town so i pretty much went in as a walk in. You walk in, no one necessarily greets you, everyone just looks over and you very awkwardly stand there ... I'm like "hi, i need a pedicure please". It's an odd mixture of Asian and Latin employees and it seems like they're constantly trying to figure out what the other is saying. The Latin woman is like "whats going on, what happened?" to the lady next to her as the Asian employees talk, makes it very uncomfortable. I must say the pedicure was great. However, the environment and energy absolutely created a negative for this place for me. It's pale purple walls no tv or music, awkward not friendly but not unfriendly attitude... overall it did not make me feel comfortable. Some people seem to not care about these sorts of things or may be completely unaware. I saw various people walk in, want a pedicure, tell the lady what they want, sit and close their eyes. I don't get my nails done too often (more out of laziness than anything), but whenever I'm in the need to get them done during the week for a special occasion or just because, this is my go-to.It's walking distance from my job, reasonable prices for the area, clean and -- best of all -- fast! While I was getting my pedicure they had a lady come to me and do my manicure at the same time. They were both very nice and were always trying to accommodate me. I had my nails done here for my engagement photo shoot and I have mixed feelings. I went in for a mani (gel) and regular pedi and as soon as the lady started to do my toes, another one came in and started to do my hands. I was not in a rush and I must say that this was not a good first impression.The whole experience felt rushed. In fact, at one point I ruined one of my fingernails and the lady who was doing my hands got pissed. The woman who did my toes though was extremely nice and patient. I wish I could remember her name, she was blonde, that's the only thing I can tell you. As far as the quality of the manicure and pedicure goes, it was ok. Excellent service. Employees are more like a family than co-workers. There is a slight language barrier and they all help each other in translating with kindness, it's pretty sweet to watch. I've only been here once, but that experience gets 5 stars!I went on a Sunday morning (not long after it opened at 11 a.m.) and they were able to take me immediately. By the time I left, nearly every worker had a customer, so calling ahead is probably a good idea. They have more shellac color options than any other nail place I've been to in the area. I only got a manicure but I was in and out in less than 40 minutes (this is crucial because as much as I like getting my nails done, I HATE the process of actually getting them done!) So quick and colorful is good in my book!They DO NOT allow you to add tip onto your card, which annoys me but I'll get over it. Bring cash OR use there is an ATM machine in the back. Read Less
