I really love D N Nails Spa. I drive 20 minutes out of the way just to come here. Their prices are amazingly affordable, only $24 for a full set of acrylics! They don’t charge you $5 extra for coffin shape like so many other places. My go to is Doug. He’s by far the best nail tech I’ve been to. He’s hilarious and so quick, but always does a great job. I haven’t tried anyone else for manicures, however my friends agree that everyone else there is great. Their polish selection isn’t the best, but they have lots of options for gel and dip. Been coming here for years. Everyone is excellent. My gel manicure always lasts longer when I go here than anywhere else, often up to 3 full weeks. Pedicures are great too. They almost always take me right away. I think I waited on a Saturday for 10 minutes once. Read Less

I came to this salon due to the high ratings on the day of my engagement that night which I knew about beforehand. My nail tech didn't seem to even respond to me speaking about this occasion and importance of picking the right color. That right there set the tone of the whole appointment and from the start I was upset about the lack of customer service. Then I asked for ombré and was told it would only come out super bright so no he can't do it (red flag and not true as I have successfully gotten beautiful ombré elsewhere. Then the color I finally settled on they apparently didn't have... so I was presented with a few "close options" and was made to feel an inconvenience for pointing out the differences. The only reason this is given any stars is because the customer service from EVERY other employee seemed fantastic, and the nails as well as others I saw did come out very nicely but not worth the experience ever again! So disappointed, I get the only tech in the Salon that looks like he hates his job and doesn't want to be here, he used only the purple stone on the tips of my toes and softly on the balls of feet never cleaning the heals of my feet, but when I thought it was just me being me I asked the two other people with me and they said the same thing, having different technicians, if your not a regular don't bother coming here. I've tried many places in my area and then one of my clients told me about this place. The reason is because I asked about her nails cuz they were perfect!!!! I decided to check it out... and this is definitely the best place ever! They take their time and they are artists at what they do. They joke with you and the atmosphere is chill. Other places I've been to they don't even talk to you and you feel like a number not a customer. Here is complete opposite..... they are very welcoming. I'm a hairstylist so I'm in the industry.... so I promise you I know good work. I recommend this place for sure. Everyone is great. Not my usual nail spot but I was in the area and badly needed a pink fill for my pink & whites. It's a little hard to locate when using iPhone maps, but after walking east of Publix and around the karate spot I found it at the end of the plaza. The salon itself is nice, your typical mani/pedi layout and looks clean. They have their polishes organized by color and have plenty of gel/dip options. At first I felt the tech was rushing my job a bit, and if they hadn't turned out well I would've been annoyed, but they looked nice and the quicker the better for me in that instance. Since it wasn't my usual spot they didn't have the *exact* pink powder but she made sure it was as close as possible and when she was finishing up even asked me how I liked them, which was a nice touch because they rarely ever bother to ask if you're satisfied. Overall I had a nice experience, got a fill in 30 minutes, and paid less than I would've at my normal spot ($2, but still). If I'm in the area on nail day again I'll definitely go back. Read Less

Called salon to see if we could make appointment - told -"Just come on in"  Arrived about 10 minutes later.  Waited about 5 minutes - but this allowed us to pick colors.  No big deal.  Big deal when my girlfriends' pedi guy has an "appointment client" show up 15 min early for her appointment.  He stops shortly after removing old polish to move to the "appointment client" - said someone else would take over - she was not happy but likes the guy that was going to take over so - ok.  Then a female staff wants to resume on girlfriends nails - NO - TOO MUCH BS.  Girlfriend says just forget it and she did without - owner was in area and heard the confusion and disappointment - yet did not address the issue.  Overall place is not as clean as other salons. Not relaxing environment  - "Ursela - from Under the Sea"  was also a client and was talking very loud - we all know how that worked out.  LOL  Too many other salons to pick from - chose another please! I'm impressed, actually.  My regular (i.e. not gel) mani lasted for 5 days without chipping.  During this time I was moving furniture, cleaning without gloves (lots of chemicals) and not applying a clear coat on top.  Normally regardless of how careful I am my nails usually chip within 24 hours, so I was impressed mine lasted so long.  I would come back again. I am very particular when it comes to my manicure which is why I am willing to drive 45 minutes to see Doug, the owner of DN Nails.  He has been doing my nails since about 2008-2009 and I've followed him to various salons.  He has even perfected, "The Jeanine" and is the only person who can do a perfect French manicure.  His overlay, extension, design and gel polish services are amazing!  I highly recommend you book an appointment and request him. Very affordable and the people are really nice. I try to get my nails done every couple of weeks and they always get me in almost immediately. They also do eyebrow waxing which makes this a one stop shop for me! Read Less
