I give1 star because the place is nice. Everything else is terrible. Especially the level of care and consideration of the customer. The technicians spend the entire time speaking to one another in their language. They don't attempt to make your visit a pleasant experience. Definitely my last visit. RUDE RUSHED SERVICE WAITED AN HOUR for them and they tired to rush me out HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE VERY UNSAFE  . I came into Venetian on a Wednesday evening after work ready to relax , I was told it was gonna be a hour wait . Ok fine  as there are other things toDo in the little strip mall . So I sign in and tell the receptionist the services I want ( fill and pedicure ) I asked to make sure they will be able to do both because I saw  that they close at 8 and I walked in about 6 , She told me yes . So I left my number in case anything changed, walked the strip mall and came back . the manager  took me to the back and sat me at the pedicure bowl , no jets on , no soap just left me there sitting in bowl water . Right before the water turned cold a lady came asked what my color was , i don't know her name she didn't introduce herself she was very rude and short . I showed her a picture similar to the color I wanted and she handed me the color wheel. As I'm picking out my color another lady comes up and starts getting the towels set up for my pedicure . While the First Lady gets her drill out she throws a towel over my chest and another over my lap then she grabs my hand. I said hold up what's going on here?  the lady  preparing to do my nails so rudely said we close at 8pm  I'm not waiting for you  until 8:30 I need to go home " now I sat and waited for a whole hour just to be rushed on my service because they now have to close ? In what world did she think it safe to do a fill on an unstable surface . No way Am i letting her take a drill to my nails while the massage chair is going full force , my whole body is shaking , I got my leg being pulled one way and then my hands pulled another way , all while I'm choking and covered in nail dust ....now how do you think this is gonna turn out ladies ? Well I didn't stay to find out . I told her I just want to enjoy one service at a time as I did come there to relax and be beautified. She was still only concerned with leaving at 8pm  so I talked to her manager and I jetted out of there after he  unapologetically , rudely, and nonchalantly said " we do it all the time we close at 8 " .  Now I'm typing this review with chipped nail polish because I sat and waited at Venetian for an hour because they told me they could accommodate me , made me wait until all the other nail salons had closed then tried to give me a rushed unsafe job . On the bright side I'm glad I did walk outta there because I may not have this thumb to type with ! This location is beautiful as all the others in the chain are , but they  are rude , unsafe ,  unprofessional, Inattentive , child they didn't even offer me a drink while I waited ! for the price you pay GO SOMEWHERE ELSE horrible horrible customer service HORRIBLE. I really wanted to like my nails. It was my friends wedding so I go get my nails done. I show the tech what I want. He quotes me $35. I got a predicure and fullset totally $62. Thats not chump change. The tech takes forever. He asks for payment, i let him know i want to tip $10 on my card, Ive done it here before. He tells me, "Go to the atm, its better for you!" (Yea a $3 atm fee is better for me).Then he starts sloppily painting my nails. I have polish on my skin. Dings in the polish. I love this place! Even when they are super slammed they always accommodate your needs. I went with my mom for gel manicures and regular pedicures. We both went without appointments and only had to wait about 15 minutes. While we waited the gentleman soaked our nails in order to get the gel polish off so that it wouldn't waste any time once we were getting our manicures done. The staff is super friendly and always offer a drink once to sit down. They have so many different colors to choose from and different types of services. The place is super clean and sanitary. Worst place ever, I will never come back. I'm disappointed a place so BEAUTIFUL with the rudest people ever. My nail tech Chan was awful, didn't help me with my shoes or nothing. Apparently she got upset because I wanted a chair that have a massage included. I guess the chair I had was broken and I was wrong for asking to move to another chair. Well, went there a few months back and was disappointed but just decided to not go back until yesterday that me and my friend decided to have lunch and get our nails done and this was the closest place, perfect we went in and decided to get pedicure first it was very enjoyable, the tech was sweet and the massage was very good. After I went to get my gel manicure where everything started to go downhill, I had tips (which was on for only 15 days!!!) and acrylic and I just wanted a refill. the tech started to drill and stoped, another tech came and put foils in my nails, but I was on my phone distracted, and he left when he came back I asked why because I have acrylic and there is not reason for foils and he  stated that I had nexgen which I had NEVER done in my life and I told them that over and over again, they just decided to put the foils which did a mess on my nails, the tips started melting (I wish I had taken photos of this) and I told them please stop this I don't have nexgen but at that moment nothing could be done just put new tips and start the process for the acrylic. I was pretty upset so the manager came and realized they messed up and apologized and said that they were only charging for the job I came in for, pedicure and gel I really appreciated that. So when was time for the bill I was just so tired and hungry because I had been there for about 3hours now and I just paid the amount and gave a pretty good tip which I don't even now why because I was not happy. Next day I realized I paid $67 total which didn't make sense to me because the pedicure is $27 and the fill $25 I went back and asked for a price breakdown and the manager said that the pedicure was $27, fill $15 and the gel polish they charged separately strangely $25 and $5 for the shape of my nails (which I didn't need it) well I was there before and only paid $30 for a fill. The only reason I give this place 4 stars is because Darleen and Stephanie are AMAZING. So kind and always do a great job. The customer service from the front is nonexistent. Never answer their phone or the line is always busy. Sometimes the girls who answers the phone has an attitude and are not accommodating to help you find an appointment with a specific tech when they obviously have their availability pulled up right in front of them. This is probably the most over-priced low-quality and poor-service nail salon I have ever been to. Maybe it's this location specifically, not sure. I went on 11/15 to get the nexgen dip with a gold chrome finish. The dip is $40 and the gold chrome finish is an additional $20, i was hesitant about the price but agreed when Sky said it would last the full two weeks. After only two days, the gold was fading off of the edges and the gold on two of my nails had chipped off completely. I went in on 11/17, and ofcourse had to wait for Sky to be available which took about 25 minutes, and when she took a look she tried to explain that it was normal and that she couldnt guarantee it would last. I quickly reminded her of what she had said so she added more gold to the edges and redid the two that were chipped. Then came saturday, 11/18. One of my nails broke in half, and 4 lost the gold. This place isnt worth your time or money, and definitely isnt worth you having to sit there and imagine what is being said about you in Vietnamese because you had the audacity to come in and ask for your nails to be fixed after paying $60 plus a generous tip. I literally despise this place!!! I have been coming here since May when I moved to the area. The nail techs are constantly cutting your skin and they charge you for every little thing.... it's extra to have your cuticles cut?!?! Ummm isn't that part of getting a manicure and pedicure?!?!? Unfortunately, I am going to share my experience as I am still stunned. I have had gel nails for over 7 years and never left a salon where my nails look worse leaving than coming in. Even the owner/manager agreed, and wanted to try and fix it but after being there for 75 minutes I had to leave. I am not sure if there is more polish on my nail or on my fingers. I was there last friday with my mom and friends and I got nextgen with tips and they are turning yellow and 3 have already broke it's only been a week. I'm on a cruise and I trusted this place I paid $50 to have yellow nails that were pink, a rude manicurist, and broken nasty looking nails. Don't bother ladies if you get acrylic or nextgen. My nails always break when i go here. My mom goes here and gets a regular manicure and pedicure for $60 too over priced and i went here because she told me it was better than what it use to be. It's not. Same horrible technique, they rush people including my little sister who also has yellow nails from nextgen, and horrible manners. I've been to this Venetian nail spa a few times and normally I do not come to this nail Salon. The first time I was disappointed but now this is the last time I will ever go to this salon. If there was a rating for zero stars I would rate it a big fat ZERO! Don't be fooled by the beautiful decor and the "complimentary water or beverage" stunt. All this franchise cares about is getting as many clients in and out as they can. I literally witnessed my nail tech pour in the acetone that was used to remove my nextgen BACK IN THE BOTTLE! I was completely horrified. I'm guessing she thought I wouldn't notice. Not to mention she never removed my cuticles. She used the drill to remove them. My nails dident even last more than a week. I am so disgusted with this place. Do Not waste your time with this place there are many mom and pop shops that are clean and take their time with you not to mention how over priced they are. The place was nice. Staff was friendly and nice. It was very busy but they looked like they were on top of it and I didn't see any clients waiting too long. I would give it more than 3 stars but I thought it was a little overpriced. With tip I spent $50 for a regular mani/pedi. The pedicure was quick and my nail polish has already begun chipping after only 4 hours. Been going to this salon for a few years and Tien is the best. I only let her touch my hands. I only do regular manicures and pedicures, nothing fancy. Wow, I've been coming here for ever! I feel very comfortable because it has been seven years but I wish that there was a loyalty program of some sort. This location (coconut creek) was recently remodeled and updated as well and it looks amazing. I love the associates and the environment is always very laid back. I feel bad writing this review because the girl who did my nails was very young and sweet but business is business. My mother-in-law was in town and she wanted a pedicure so I decided to go ahead and have a manicure. The price is reasonable it was $16 for a regular manicure. You walk in you tell them what you want, and then they tell you to go pick your color and wait. Then your manicurist your pedicurist come up and tell you to come with them. Maybe I'm just extremely picky but I like my cuticles completely pushed back and cleaned very thoroughly. To me it's not a good manicure if someone doesn't do that because your nails look like they're not freshly done. I picked a very light color on purpose to because not everyone knows how to paint a dark color. As you can see from my picture few issues. She cut my nails but they're not evenly filed, and she didn't paint all the way to the back of my cuticle which to me in two days will look horrible. Also the color was painted on uneven. This place is clean, and has an extensive gel nail and next gen selection. But....in truth, not every nail tech is equal. #sorrynotsorry.DARLENE is the truth, and the reason for the 5-star rating. My mom has been her faithful customer for well over a year and she has never left disappointed! Every time I come to visit, an appointment with Darlene is a must. She even makes my feet (aka the ugliest feet in America) look good. Let me also say that my mom & I are Virgos through and through, and are quite particular about nails, and, well almost everything. I'm not a girlie girl by any stretch but from time to time I enjoy a bit of pampering. I do not typically get my nails done regularly as I have a terrible habit of biting them when stressed. I had some time to kill on a Sunday and it being right after Christmas I was looking for a way to relax and unwind. I have seen Venetian nail spas before but thanks to britt z's review I decided to go to this location. I called ahead of time to see if I needed an appt and they just told me to walk in. I decided to get a pedicure and nexgen nails. When I walked in I told the receptionist who told me to pick out polish. Shortly after, the woman who was going to do my pedicure greeting me and took me back to their chairs. I decided to go a little more expensive than usual since I don't typically indulge in this stuff and I got the deluxe spa pedicure which includes a paraffin treatment. It was so relaxing and she did a great job. She offered me drink (water,soda,wine) I got some water. A different tech did my nexgen nails. She also did a great job.The prices here are a bit high if you were to go these treatments monthly (89 total with no tip). The place was very clean, the wait for a tech was pretty much non existent. I have been going here for over a year at least once a month, using someone different each time in the hopes of finding a regular nail tech to make appointments with because the location is very convenient. I honestly can say that I was not happy once with the pedicures I received. They barely touched my feet and would skip steps, but I paid and tipped 20% without a complaint each time. I am in the beauty industry so I understand how a service is supposed to be performed. At... this point it makes me so angry that the last girl that did my pedicure argued with me saying she did everything right. I understand everyone does it differently and that's why I would continue to go to try someone new. I should not have had to pay for this last service and the manager should have reimbursed me instead of asking when did I come in.
