For many years I've been visiting several nail salons in attempt to make my thin, weak nails look pretty. Over time, I believe my nail cuticles have developed an allergy to the product used in prepping the nail bed for acrylic and gel polish nails. I even stopped having my nails done at times to give them a rest, thinking the allergy would go away. At the onset of each new visit, this issue was explained to several nail techs. No one seemed to listen to my concerns until I met Lily. Lily suggested we try first applying the gel liquid to my nail beds, followed by the gel polish. For the first time in years, I experienced NO allergy to this particular process. Even though my nails are short in length (which I prefer), I now have beautiful nails and can wear polish that's going to last 3 to 4 weeks, without my cuticles being red and itchy due to an allergy. My nails are stronger, too. Lily did a wonderful job insuring the ends of my nails were smooth and thus not capable of snagging my clothing or tearing the nail, as I experienced with just the gel polish in the past. In addition, Lily was professional, honest, and knowledgeable, and has a sweet spirit. I appreciate having my own "box" of tools that are used just for my visits. Lily did not rush my appointment and explained she likes to do the job right, even if it means taking a little more time for each customer. I consider it a privilege to recommend Lily at Polished Day Spa. Read Less
