Poor customer service. Should treat customers of Wellesley better if you are a business in town. Very disappointed with their fast and hurried services. A mani pedi should be relaxing, not stressful. While a $25. express pedi in Wellesley might seem like a great price, in the case of Luxotic-- it's actually not. Our pedicures lasted a total of 10 minutes each (not even given at the same time despite making an appointment ahead of time)and the trimming was irregular and no buffing or decent nail prep. I (and my daughters) have been here several times in the past and I paid $32 for a 'spa pedicure' which was very good (though it does not include callous buffing or removal--...something you need to know up front); however, I expected the express pedicure to actually be more than a nail trim (very uneven), minimal filing and a sloppy polish job. I had to remove the polish when I got home. The technician did not seem to care--they were very rushed and I assume, not trained properly. I've been an ongoing Customer ever since the Establishment first opened which was about about six years ago. I've visited other places during that time however, there was no other Spa that would clean up my Facial Hair like "Pretty Nails & Spa"! Lee who generally provides the service for me is always reliable in her work while also being friendly and kind. Pretty Nails is wonderful! The staff are all very nice and great at what they do. I brought in a picture of the nail shape I wanted and the guy made sure they came out lovely. A different woman did the gel polish and it's perfect. I'm so happy! I also brought my 8 year old with me for a manicure and they were so nice and friendly to her, and she loves her nails as well. During my pedicure, the nail tech dropped her tray of supplies two or three times which startled me. One of those times, she had to get a rag and clean up a spill. It felt unprofessional and not relaxing with her dropping/knocking things over so many times. i don't write many reviews but after ALL the disappointments I've experienced thought it was needed. We ladies need to help each other out right? My mother brought me to Pretty Nails a month ago. Four weeks ago and I just called Cathy for a mani/pedi.  I decided yes I will treat myself once a month and this is the only place where it lasted no chips, no discoloration just perfect.  The place may not be fancy or perfect but my nails sure were and that's what it's all about Cathy rocks!!!! I normally don't take time out of my day to write reviews. The lady I had with blonde hair, recently did a gel polish manicure looks like a 7 year old did it! Looks terrible. Great nail salon- Christine & Danny gave me the royal treatment. The atmosphere and decor was similar to a boutique. This place has almost a five star review which is why I chose it- I have never been so disappointed in my life. My sister is getting married tomorrow and I called ahead hours in advance to set up an appointment for four mani/pedis for her and her bridesmaids. I got verbal confirmation over the phone that we would all be able to sit together for the pedicures, and when we arrived there, they had three chairs open, not four, leaving one of the girls out. I brought it up and they said that she would take the next available chair, but the girl who was waiting for a chair was promptly ignored for the next half an hour. I was seething at this point because I had called ahead specifically to avoid this. Over the course of two hours, we all eventually got our nails done, but the work was terrible! My nails had air bubbles all over them, and the place was extremely unkept and there were nail clippings and dirty towels everywhere. Wonder place! Great service. Appointments taken first and on time, every time, even if there's walkin's. Which is a life saver for busy people and professionals. I don't do acrylics, only manicures and pedicures on my natural nails. They offer facials and waxing too. Private room and comfortable. Never had a bad experience here. Been coming for 3 years.
