Not even worth 1 star. I've been going to this nail salon on and off a few years. That particular weekend, I had an appointment made for 1pm, to arrive on time and be told to sit and wait 15min for a nail tech to actually get to me. I also requested Bobby, to be told he doesn't come in until 3pm. So what's the point of having scheduled an appointment? In the recent year, I've noticed a severe lack in customer service, and they've turned really pushy when it comes to gel. Like really pushy. Even though I said no 3x. After declined gel, I pick up on an attitude real quick. I have free will to choose what I want, don't hate me for it. This turns a relaxing experience into a stressful one real quick. I had a full acrylic set put on. It was obviously a rushed job. I have chunks of acrylic under my nails. The shape is all uneven. And the nails are incredibly thick. I also wanted a wax job done (not my first time), which was a horrible experience for me. I told the lady the wax was really hot several times. She assured me hot wax is better. I expected pain, but this was far more then anyone needed to go through. I even requested the "wax for sensitive skin" advertised on there website. Which I didn't get because she was confused and said we don't offer that. It was a botched job for sure. Didn't even get all the hair removed because she kept adding baby oil to my skin (which prevents the wax from adhering to hair). So I went home with patches of hair in different places. To make it worse, the wax was so hot the top layers of my skin was obviously burnt and went through shedding phases of brown dry skin. I was in pain for a little over a week. Even treating my skin with coconut/ tea tree oil, oatmeal baths and cold compressions. AND to make it worse, I gave an exceptional tip (23$ on a $87 charge) despite my awkward experience at the salon. Never ever again will I be spending my money here. I like this place. It’s clean, the technicians are friendly and they have lots of color options. My only gripe is their website prices do NOT match the price they charge you. When I asked about this they said they just haven’t been updated but they said that last time I was in and that was November. It’s a bit misleading to get people in thinking they will pay one price and then get charged another. $22 is the listed classic pedicure but it’s $25 and $25 is the listed shellac manicure but it’s $30. It’s still nice and I’ll go back but I wish they would fix their website. Read Less

I was referred her by a coworker.... ask for Jenna she said! So I did... Jenna did my pedi and manicure with Gel($65)... she is Very thorough and meticulous.  So do not show up and be in a hurry.  The shop is clean and the staff is friendly... I've been her twice in the last 2 months.. I've even made an appointment on line ... I will continue to come here ... and have Jenna do my nails Bc she does such an amazing job! Thx Jenna Read Less

I scheduled appointments for my daughters and I about a week ago. We were taken 20 min late, after other people who came in after us were seen. My kids were promptly taken care of but I had to wait another 15 minutes. The girl then spent 10 minutes on the phone, she rushed and she was very rough while filing my nails. She didn't take any time to shape my nails, there are uneven and flat spots and now I've noticed she didn't even cover my real nails completely with acrylic. I asked to have my nails done with a thin layer of acrylic and shellac on top without my natural nails to be filed down too thin.. the nail technician told me no place in the world would do what I had asked. She told me if I didn't want my nails filed very thin that I had to do the dip powder. I explained that had tried the dip powder in this location once before (2 weeks ago) and was not fond of the bumpy shape on top of my nail, or the actual nail shape. I told the nail tech I did not like the dip technique and asked if that was my only option there. She proceeded to tell me that I couldn't have my nails done at all. I am a licensed cosmetologist and nail technician, I know for a fact that you can do what I requested and I have always had this service done in other salons. Very uncomfortable and unprofessional. Instead of shaking her head and turning me away, she could have offered another service. All I can say is wow, I've never experienced such poor customer service. Read Less

I only gave it two stars because they're so friendly. Although I did translate half of the things they were saying and it was pretty rude. I went in because 6 days after I got my nails done (powder dipped) they started falling off. They redid them free but they left 3 nails that were not chipped or falling off. Problem was that they redid them with the wrong color and it's very noticeable. I didn't wanna be rude so I kinda just dealt with it. My pedicure wasn't very good. Still had a lot of callus and the girl didn't scrub very long at all. The total time of the pedicure was about 20 min. I have pictures of the difference in color but I can't post it here for some reason. All in all, like I said, they're sweet but the price isn't worth the bad quality. Read Less

A nail spa oasis. The relaxing music, the scented candles, the pleasant and knowledgable nail technicians. Oh and a chip free mani for a week. If only every nail salon would follow in Van Court footsteps the industry would be in a much better place. Read Less

I've been getting my nails done here for the last 6 months or so. I usually can walk right in, even on the weekends. I really like them because they have a HUGE selection of gel colors. Gel(Shallac) mani is $25. Sometimes they cut my cuticle too much so if you're sensitive speak up. Other than that they do a good job. The regular pedi is $22...fair price and nice job. They have more expensive and pampering pedi's but I like to get in and out quick. Salon is pretty clean. Never had any issues with sanitation or anything like that.
