How disgusting is it that people leaving these reviews actually find it important that the employees “always” speak English, even when they’re not the ones being spoken to.
Whatever the employees do is their choice, but regarding other salons, please understand that people speak other languages! And as long as there’s no translation issue about your service, you should not be bothered by people speaking their first language to each other. Stop being racist or go to a white salon. How insulting are you people?

Sunny and Kim are awesome and fun to talk with! My wife and I are Deaf and it was a pleasure to know them!

First time here and I’m in awe. Dany, my tech lady - she was so honest, gentle, and nice. So far the best gel manicure I’ve gotten. Will be coming back again!

This is a great salon, conveniently located on Gulf to Bay near Clearwater Mall and sister location to the Aqua Stone on Belcher/Gulf to Bay. A recent update makes it warm and inviting; the nail techs are good and Thia (my fave) is great with lash extensions too! Another bonus is its location to Kens Sushi!

I went to Aqua Stone not even 2 weeks ago. My friend asked for me to have gel nails with gel polish as I had not done them like that before.The whole point was to have long lasting nails. As I was discussing this with my friend yesterday, it turns out that I did not even get gel nails I got basic acrylic. I did not know this at the time because like I said I hadn't done them before so I didn't know what to expect and my friend was not around to correct them. In addition, two of my nails fell off already. So I didn't get what I asked for and what I got didn't even last. So not worth the money spent. The girls are nice there but I didn't go there to pay for conversation. Will not be returning.

Pretty interior, nice Asian ladies (which I prefer) and they spoke to each other in English and me, gave me wine, very clean, nice massage during pedi, nails look very pretty, music was playing so it helped me relax, massage chairs. I'm very picky and I'll give this 5 stars. I'd highly suggest you guys get a TV and play movies with CC on but that's not a huge deal. The wine and bag over the thing for the water in the massage chair is what actually what sold me.. Overall I'll come again. :)

Got square nails but was charged for coffin shaped nails. An extra $5. Just paid it to avoid a disagreement. It's been hardly a week and I've had 2 nails break off already. Bad acrylic. Everyone was very sweet but considering the dishonesty and lack of workmanship I won't be getting my acrylic there again. Wait time was over 40 mins and when I arrived they had me wait another 15. Then bumped someone ahead of me while I was in the chair.
UPDATE:
Oh. That's 3 nails now. 3 nails have broken off. I want my money back.

Very friendly salon.Lynda was my tech today and I really like her work and great personality. Happy to find this great place and will definitely return.

How disgusting is it that people leaving these reviews actually find it important that the employees “always” speak English, even when they’re not the ones being spoken to.
Whatever the employees do is their choice, but regarding other salons, please understand that people speak other languages! And as long as there’s no translation issue about your service, you should not be bothered by people speaking their first language to each other. Stop being racist or go to a white salon. This is a great salon, conveniently located on Gulf to Bay near Clearwater Mall and sister location to the Aqua Stone on Belcher/Gulf to Bay. A recent update makes it warm and inviting; the nail techs are good and Thia (my fave) is great with lash extensions too! Another bonus is its location to Kens Sushi!

I went to Aqua Stone not even 2 weeks ago. My friend asked for me to have gel nails with gel polish as I had not done them like that before.The whole point was to have long lasting nails. As I was discussing this with my friend yesterday, it turns out that I did not even get gel nails I got basic acrylic. Got square nails but was charged for coffin shaped nails. An extra $5. Just paid it to avoid a disagreement. It's been hardly a week and I've had 2 nails break off already. Bad acrylic.
