I used to go and have a quality work on my nails, until I got Sim. I don't know what she did but she ruined my nails so badly. That was on April the 5th, and I still trying to get my nails back. The first 3 days I can't barely touch my nails and the worst part is I was traveling out of town. She was rude, and asking why I was doing the dipping powder when there was other options. Instead of using acetone she use a nail to lift the product out of my nails. If i will go again definitely I will avoid her. There are other good techs. Read Less

So they were very professional however so after i left I realized 3 of my nails were messed up. 2 had lumps in the paint and one wasn't painted all the way. I had somewhere to be so I didn't have time to get them to fix it after already being there for hours. So I went back a couple days later and they were very nice and fixed them. But 3 days later one of the nails that was fixed chipped off and looks awful. I don't usually complain but this nail salon is very expensive and my nails look bad and it's been exactly one week and that's after going back to get them fixed the first time. Disappointed. Had a French manicure on natural nails done for my wedding. Although they were very nice, all of the white tips on every finger flaked off overnight. My nails were a disaster. I had to remove it and paint them myself. Clearly the white bottle had been thinned too many times and did not bond to anything. I sent them a picture and told them the issue this caused me for my wedding day. They apologized and said they would do my nails again. I would have preferred a refund, but they had no response to that. I would just say, if you have a big day coming up, use a better salon. Read Less

Seems like a lovely place, the nail technicians are super friendly and spend a while on your nails. HOWEVER, I've been looking for SNS nails for the longest time I've been to multiple salons. I've been back to this place TWICE to have my nails fixed within the matter of TWO DAYS ??????? After being reassured that my nails won't chip & that they have the best SNS products.. my nails have NEVER chipped when my nail tech in New York did them. Then, he told me " oh it's because we didn't have enough time to let them dry the right way " ??????? So after we dried them the " right way " they chipped.. AGAIN. needless to say I will not be returning. $35 is not expensive for SNS nails, but $35 for a salon who has no clue how to keep SNS nails ON without chipping for 48 hours is absolutely ridiculous. I have been coming to this nail salon for 10+ years and would never go anywhere else, ever. Their customer service is phenomenal, they are personable and accommodating. My work schedule is always changing I never know what days I have off in advance to make appointments so I always call in day of and have never had any issues seeing one of the many fabulous nail technicians. Just recently I had a day of an opportunity to call for an appointment and they scheduled me with Bryan, let me just say..... the best pedicure I have EVER had. I'm reluctant to mention his name as he is already a busy guy with many requests for him as is. They offer wine with pedicures, and it is an extremely clean environment. They are always decorating for the holidays, super cute I just love it. Additionally, they have employee contests for best Halloween costume, at Christmas they decorate the salon and compete for best idea, all of which involve their customers who pick the winners. Wow! I just moved to the area and I'm very picky about my mani/pedis, so I was wary about choosing a new place. All the great reviews about Aqua are spot on! I was greeted with a smile as soon as I walked in. They quickly assigned me to Bryan, who was absolutely WONDERFUL. He took his time to carefully do my mani/refill and left my nails looking great. Then I did the pedicure. The massage chair was new and comfortable. All the tools came from a clear plastic bag, obviously showing it had all been sanitized. He wore gloves and sprayed each tool with disinfectant before using it. After the careful and detailed pedicure, I got a lengthy foot/calf massage. So relaxing!!! I even had to replace a bandaid that was covering a big-toe injury, and Bryan was very careful about treating it, finding a new bandaid, and covering it up (and I didn't even ask him to). I went to get my nails done yesterday and had the rudest nails tech that was only interested in getting me to spend extra money. She didn't understand what I wanted to have done nor was she familiar with the products that are used. Sue ended up having to do my nails and she was very knowledgeable. My nails turned out great, at least I thought they did. When I got home I noticed that two of nails had already had chipped polish of them. I had acrylic nails put on and never in 10 years did I ever experience my nail polish being chipped. I went to this location based on the reviews but had a horrible experience. This is my favorite place to get my nails done and other beauty services! I've been going here for 7 years and I always leave happy. My two favorite nail techs are Vi (no longer there), and Sue (still there). I like getting stiletto style nails and this place is the only place that I've found that does it right. I'm guessing it's not a common style, so other nail places don't understand. Pedicures are always relaxing with a complimentary glass of wine. I like red. I like how Aquastone Nails does not stink of acetone, like most nail places. Most importantly, the techs pay attention to their customer and are never rude by chatting to others in a foreign language. I think it's important to pay attention to the customer. One of my favorite nail places, I have been coming here for the last 7 years or so, or at least ever since they have opened. Nice clean place, great services, the nail technicians will only speak English to the customers and to each other to not make any one uncomfortable, this is also part of their policy. I was initially very impressed by all of the positive reviews. So when I decided to get a full set of gel nails, Aqua Stone seemed like a great choice. The atmosphere was nice and the nail tech was pleasant enough. I wasn't bowled over by the finished product, but I was satisfied. My complaint is that my nails started breaking and separating only a week after getting them done. I now have to get them fixed or redone. Normally I would feel as if I wasted money, but at least I know that Aqua Stone is all hype and no substance. I won't be going back to Aqua Stone, ever.
