Made appointment for not only Gel Toes but a haircut as well with the same stylist. Made it three weeks ago and got there today 10 minutes early. Picked out my nail color after checking in and after sitting for about 15 minutes, realized that my stylist was just starting to put foils in a head of long hair!!! I know how long it takes for foils...My Time is valuable and I drove up to Gulf Coast from Naples, the Receptionist never bothered to say she was running late. By far this is the friendliest Profiles in this area. I go for acrylic nails and all the girls are super nice. The girls who sign you in are really welcoming no matter what you look like (or feel like at the time). Jess is my nail girl now and she is awesome. I actually tried a couple of nail techs before I found one that I felt understood what I wanted and how I felt about nails. The fact that you can move to other people to find the right "match" is what sells this location for me They will never tell you they can't do something until they've exhausted all other possibilities. Very professional staff. These people know what they're doing. You guys rock. Of note: If you break a nail, whether it's your fault or theirs, they will fix your nail for free. Extremely unprofessional to have an employee gossiping and making fun of another employee to multiple clients and other employees in front of us and her own clients. And to have the owner say “I’m sorry ladies, I wish I could control their mouths sometimes.” You absolutely can! I found an AWESOME stylist Ally. For years I have been so picky about how stylists do my hair being a hair stylist myself. She listens to me about what I'm looking for and never gets carried away with over cutting like some stylists do. If she's not sure about what I want we look for pictures. I have been getting my nails done for over a year now at profiles. I have had nothing but an amazing experience. Quality work at a good price. You pay for what you get. I was going to other nail salons in the area and the acrylic nails were peeling off. I can go 3-4 weeks between fills and no lifting or any issues. I have been coming to this location since April of this year (2017) for nail services. I came in with low expectations based on my experience at another location in Lee county. However not only were my expectations exceeded, they continue to exceed every single time I come in. Sam, the receptionist, is an absolute sweet heart. She is always sure to great you by name at the door and offer you a beverage. Then after your service she ALWAYS asks to see and will tell you that your choice is beautiful. It's not something she just says, she seriously enjoys seeing the nail art created. I have had several "techs" work on me and I have never been dissatisfied with anyone. All in all everyone is on basically the same skill level and will do everything to make you happy, even if it isn't their strong suit. Melanie is amazing, she is the one I always request. She has learned what I like and is always ready for me to challenge her to work with different designs and multiple colored nails. Do not go there for any haircut !!!  Ally - the hair stylist  was not professional  whatsoever! I told her that I want to cut just  a little bit of hair , Just give it a style and she was like ok , ok. But during the process I saw how much she cut , I started  getting upset and told her please do not cut that much. Instead Of following  what i say , she was getting angry , and neurotically brushing my hair , so painfully!  And kept repeating I told you this particular  hair cut will he short , I told you , I Told you....... Just like that !! Rude !!! which I just asked my hair to v shape and keep the length!!!!! Always have an excellent experience. Only twice in the all the years I've been coming have I had a mishap with a nail and it is always promptly fixed. That means great products and great techs. I love this location! I used to go to the one off Pine Island Rd but the girls here are so enthusiastic and love to talk conversation with you and not just do your nails. Update to my 5 star review: Last time I went & will ever go I was put with a girl that just happen to come in on her day off for something & was asked to help. She clearly didn't want to be there & did a terrible job on me. Didn't earn the tip she got from me, one bit. Profiles overbooks to get as many people in the door as possible. Shanna has been expertly doing my nails for at least 12 years. She is the best! I NEVER have a nail break and I am very hard on my hands/ nails. She is extremely professional and sweet and I consider her to be a friend that I can share my personal life with.  :) I will be her customer as long as she is in the business! I drive from South Fort Myers to the Cape bypassing at least 20 nail salons to see her. Tracy, one of the owners, is awesome and is there everyday overseeing her business and booking appointments. This salon is hands down the best! There are SO many options to choose from. All the nail techs are super friendly and have awesome personalities. They care about you and listen to you. Though the customer service was good, the facility was disgusting. There were noticeable nail shavings every where. They clearly do not clean up their station after finishing with the customer. I really have nothing good to say about ProFiles. I have been to the location on Del Prado as well, and it isn't any better. I was kept waiting almost 20 minutes past my appointment time. I understand running a few minutes behind, but what's the point of making an appointment if you can't keep somewhat on time?I had my gel manicure removed and the nail tech said "Alright you're all finished", and I looked at my hands to see a mess. The lengths weren't similar and she didn't bother trying to file away the residue or make them look vaguely presentable. When I went to pay, the receptionist didn't know the price of my service. My nail tech said "It's $30", when their website clearly says $15 for gel polish removal. I told her as much, to which she replied with a dirty look and a sigh and said "Fine charge her $15." The receptionist then asked me if I wanted to leave a tip on my card while my nail tech was standing right there. I felt very uncomfortable, as I didn't want to tip after the poor service and attempt at overcharging me, but I felt put on the spot. I will not be returning to any ProFiles location, ever.
