I LOVE THIS PLACE. I was told not to go here because of their pricing, but let me tell you, you get what you pay for. Honestly, they aren't much more expensive compared to other places and the detail and quality are through the roof. I started here in October for my wedding nails and have been coming regularly since. I've seen two guys in the front and Liz who sits in the back, all three are great. I have very small nail beds and my sets easily last a month - one set I had on for 5 weeks. They grow out but they don't lift which is nice! Well let’s just say I don’t recommend them at all. The lady I dealt with when I walked in was very polite and nice. She had a guy do my nails. Sorry I didn’t get his name. He did a good job but not worth what I paid. I liked them so I didn’t complain but then this morning I noticed fungus growing underneath one of my nails. Just had them done 10 days ago. I was furious. I picked at the acrylic to get it off and filed it to get air to the spot so it can breathe and heal. Now I’m putting green tea oil on it. Basically just threw 60.00 out the window. This place is my favorite. It's always clean, the staff is real friendly and they always do a stellar job on my nails. I usually go with Judy (she's got such an eye for detail) but any time I have gone to another tech they still do a great job. Bottom line it was okay, color selection was okay, massage chairs were okay, polish job was okay, massage with pedicure just okay. The most important thing is always that a place is clean, and this place was.  But the place was average and clean so there's that. Read Less

I love Nail Art! You are first greeted by the Receptionist  Emily who is wonderful and greets you by name. She has an incredible memory! I have been coming here for a long time and they are simply the best. Everyone is very good. I see Cathy for shellac pedicures and waxing perfect every time .She is amazing. Talk about feeling pampered. I just love her!The place is always very clean, state of the art equipment really nice relaxing decor. Great massaging chairs as well! They do offer you a beverage or soda or water. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to be treated right. Sometimes you may gave to wait a few minutes but it is worth It! First time I called to get a fill before I could even ask about my lashes they hung up on me. When I was there I asked the lady wasn't in. No problem I went in 3 weeks later cause 3 nails lifted and to get a pedicure. He told me we would have to do a whole new set again ok no problem wrote down how much my pedicure was and my nails my pedicure went up to 50$ oO for French and acrylic on the big toes. I was all together at 77$ on check out I was at 97$ no one could really explain me why they said shellac is 15$ well 77+15 isn't 97$ but ok ... I told them I don't want shellac cause it chops off they still ended up doing it well here we are 100$ later one week later i had to redo all my toes two nails just broke in half one lifted and surprise my shellac chipped. Oh as well as I called a couple times no answer so I texted them on Facebook they said I would get a call back the next day I never received that call. Read Less

My visit was part of a quest to find a Nail Salon that is closer to where we now live.  A large number of Yelpers gave favorable reviews, so I decided to try their service.Nail Art & Company is conveniently located in the between Target and Publix in the shopping plaza at Santa Barbara and Veterans Memorial.  It looks rather non-descript from the parking lot but I was favorably impressed when I walked through the doors.  The space is tastefully decorated and looks clean.As I was unfamiliar with their services, I approached the reception area to make inquiries.  I was immediately asked which service I wanted.  I explained I wanted a basic pedicure, as I had never before visited.  I barely had time to pick up a brochure before I was told to choose a color and follow a technician.  I felt a little rushed and didn't have time to ask all the questions I like to ask before getting a service in a new place but went with their flow.  That's on me.  I like to be agreeable.Once I was seated, I found the listing for their "Regular Spa Pedicure" which is $32.  That price point is 28% more than most places I've used in the area for a basic pedicure.  Having already committed, I decided to just relax and enjoy myself.The area for pedicures is a long row of massage chairs that are comfortable. The technician doing my service was pleasant but not terribly welcoming or warm.  I got the impression everyone was very busy and needed to keep their minds on task.  I found no fault with the service.  I discovered that the "Regular Spa Pedicure" comes with a salt scrub, gel mask and hot towel removal.  This explains the price difference but isn't something I would choose to pay for if given the choice.  Not that I don't like extras.  I adore them.  It's just that salt scrubs tend to scratch and irritate the skin on the top of my feet and at my ankles.Unfortunately, this is what happened here too.  By evening the top of my feet, ankles and a portion of my lower leg was splotchy from being scratched and irritated by the products.  If I'd been faster, I would have stopped her but didn't expect this with a basic service.  And, quite frankly, once she was started, I didn't want to interrupt her and cause problems.  Again, on me.  The healing process was about 36 hours for most of the irritation with a few very small spots that took about ten days.  Not a huge deal and I'm NOT saying the technician did anything wrong at all.  She performed the service, as it's designed.The rest of the pedicure was top notch and my feet have looked great for a month.  No chipping or peeling and the only reason to get another pedicure is nail growth.  With that in mind, I went back to ask about getting the pedicure without the salt scrub and mask.  And this encounter is why I won't be returning.  The girl at reception wasn't friendly or kind at all.  I asked if they offered a pedicure without the salt scrub and mask and she said I could leave it off but I would pay the same price.  She said it with an aggressive unkind attitude.  And THAT totally put me off.  Sometimes it's not WHAT you say but HOW you say it. This one star review is because of management. I had my nails filled on 8/2/16. Within a week they already  needed another fill because the nail tech didn't fill to my cuticles. I called them on 8/9/16 and sent them a picture showing how they needed filled in just a week. They set an appointment for 8/17/16 as I was out of town for business and promised to fix it. Just left their shop. They wanted to charge me full price for their error.Mike who did the fill this time did an excellent job, but I won't be coming back to this business.  As a business owner, if I make a mistake I fix it, and if I promise to fix it I do so at my expense not the expense of my customer. I read great reviews, so I thought this place would be excellent. This was probably the worst manicure/pedicure I have ever gotten. First the technician looked unhappy and overall just upset that she had to do my nails. I am a friendly person, so I figured she was having a bad day (we all do from time to time) and I smiled and was overlly friendly to this lady. She never cracked a smile and looked discusted. Then when I was getting a pedicure not only did it hurt, but she cut too deep in the cuticle and the bleedign wouldn't stop. I didn't say anything becuase I figure that happens (not that I have even had anyone cut me that deep) and let her go on with her job. She never said anything about it by the way. Then she did my nails. I got a gel manicure. Well I like to relax when I am getting my nails done, but when I looked up she had filed the nails down way past to where the cuticle is. They have constantly hurt now, you know that feeling when a nail is cut too short. Well she did all of them that way! On top of that, I could have painted my nails better than she did and I can't keep a steady hand. My toe hurts, my nails hurt and are crazy short, and they aren't even painted well. I've been getting regular pedicures and gel fills at this salon for months and I'm always extremely happy with the results. The fills look "real" and I constantly receive complements on them. They also wear well until the time for a refill. The pedicures are performed in a very clean environment with extra touches, like hot towels wrapped around the legs and brought to you on a platter along with an orchid. The nail artists are creative and will come up with exiting new designs if you ask. The laquer stays on my toes for three to four weeks without chipping.
