I am visiting from canada and needed a hair cut badly. my hair is very fine and thinning with many cowlics so very hard to cut. clara did an amazing job. i walked out of there with a huge smile where often I,m in tears. I waited almost an hour past my scheduled appointment and when I asked to be rescheduled/what was going on, was finally told she was almost ready for me. The one thing I hate is being placed under the heat while my color develops because it fries my hair...well she did just that. I'm now dealing with fried/frizzy hair and among all the blow drying I could see bits of my hair flying away forever making me look like a porcupine on top. Although the finished product looked kind of pretty that day I'll likely not return because where the hair is fried keeps breaking off no matter how gentle I treat it. Charisse worked magic with my hair!! I have only been to this salon twice. I had Charisse cut my hair both times and she was spot on with the "stacked-angled-bob". I've been traveling around the country for work and unfortunately getting my hair cut by a different stylist every 3-4 months. Charisse is the best stylist I've come across in all of NY, NJ, CA, FL, and TX. Not many stylists can do this cut well but check out the pictures...they speak for themselves! I've been to see Coco (Cortney) a few times now, and not only does she do an amazing job on my hair, she is also super sweet and makes me feel great the whole time I'm in her chair! I wanted to go from dark red to a strawberry blonde, and she's helping me achieve that without compromising my hair and that says a lot about a stylist. Upon my arrival as a first time client at Loft, I didn't know what to expect. The salon was contemporary (but cozy), clean and a rather large space. Coco ...aka Cortney was very sweet and took her time with my cut and was very detailed. One thing was very clear: Cortney LOVES what she does! That's something I think everyone looks for in their hair stylist. She's someone I would def recommend to anyone! Everyone at the salon is very nice from the start! My hair dresser Liz Childress was amazing. I booked my appointment online with her after seeing her pictures on Facebook. She then reached out to me and asked for pictures of what my hair looked like now and what my inspiration was. This showed me that she wanted to start thinking about how she was going to get my hair to where I wanted it. Through out the entire experience she showed confidence and enthusiasm which made me even more excited to get my hair done. Cortney was awesome and i highly recommend her. I have such a hard time trusting hair dressers and always feel pushed to buy products or cut more hair off and hate the way it looks but not with her!! Coco was my stylist ! She did a great job and was very warming upon arrrival ! She explained everything and took into consideration what I was trying to achieve now and in the future . I have had my hair cut and styled many times but not by the same person because I never found any one who can cut my hair the way I like it until I found Nair and Nails Lounge and got Clara Dougherty for my hairstyles.
