I've been going to this salon to get my nails done for a year now. And I made an appointment to 2days prior to get a full set. Arriving to my appointment time the nail techs were late & also didn't have the supplies needed to do my nails. I had a class to get to & my nails were half done. Due to the fact that this was the first time there was a problem, I told them I would come back after my class. I reached out to the nail tech before going back to the salon & she informed me she hadn't gone to get what she needed. Appointments are made for a reason. I could not be happier with the service I received today at Studio Red Salon. I phoned them yesterday after looking for hair salons near the hotel I was going to be staying at for my sisters wedding. They were already booked, but agreed to take me first thing in the morning anyway. I arrived right at 9 AM and was greeted by Sarah, who was very pleasant to work with & helped me pick out my new color. The whole atmosphere of this salon is fun and inviting and the ladies made me feel right at home. I especially enjoyed their playlist too. Having great tunes to listen to while you get your hair done is always nice. I wish I lived closer to this awesome little place. Terrible experience. Nice hairstylist but definitely needs more experience. I would guess she is straight out of school. Charges prices of a professional hair designer but really should only charge prices of one of those haircut chain locations. One of the other staff repeatedly coughed and coughed again and made you feel like you would catch a virus being that you were in tiny quarters. Disgusting. On top of that staff were wearing shorts and tank tops, very unprofessional. I would not recommend. Read Less

New to the area is a scary proposition by itself but needing my hair taken care off and not knowing where to go is scarier. Thank God for goupons (never use the app but opened it by "mistake")  that help me find this gem. If not for anything else for the friendliness and willingness to help and not upsell in a pushy way. I do sales and that's important but the way it was done makes me want to do it without feeling pressured. My hair came out great after a shampoo and a cut. It's a small studio and I think the hair stylists run their own hours so they are a little more flexible with the studio hours. I called Saturday morning and they fit me in at 3:oo that day. When I walked in my stylist was finishing up another client's hair but was friendly and told me she'd be right with me. Even though the studio was supposed to close at 3, since she booked me she never rushed through the hair washing or cut. She took her time to talk to me about what would be best for my hair and agreed with the picture I brought in for a reference. My hair looks great and I'm so happy with it.
