Very clean atmosphere. The staff was very nice and welcoming. My only gripe was that the nail technician did gel nails on my daughter, when all we wanted was regular acrylic tips. It cost us an additional 10 bucks. That was our first time there, but in the future I will be sure to specify acrylic ONLY. I think they should check with the customer prior to to doing any "upgraded" services. If I hadn't had the extra cash on me, that could have been an issue. Read Less

My friends nails turned out great but mine did not. I got acrylics and I will have to go for a fill in in 3 days because they are so far from my cuticles. I had to keep telling the lady how to shape them over and over again. She told me I was picky because I was young and when I'm older I will understand how to let things go. I'm 25 years old. I work hard for my money and if I'm going to spend it on a service, I want it to be good. The place is decent but that older lady working in there should NOT be allowed to do acrylics. I'm very pregnant and this place treated me like royalty. I got a pedicure and full set and I was more than pleased with the end result. Both of the ladies that worked on me were very polite and very mindful that I was comfortable the whole time I was there. I live in St. Petersburg but I'll definitely be back as many times as I can. Cut my cuticle with the drill to the point of bleeding. I feel he only knows how to use the drill. He is rough as hell and applies gel nail polish like a 5 yr old. I pray I don't get an infection unsanitary heading to health food store for tea tree oil.. this ass hole is  joke. So I saw the reviews on yelp decided to give them a chance because sometimes you get lucky, I went in for a fill and a couple of broken nails, I let them know that I didn't have time for my typical gel and she seemed very hurried which would be fine if my nails looks good, but they don't.  I been getting my nails done for over 20 years and always get them a little bit square shaped, when I noticed that she had three or four of them more triangle and not matching at all, I told her about it,   ALSO, they have indents and are rough from not buffing correctly...SEE PICTURE...Her comment to me was... I fix next time ,I fix next time... she said that the different shapes were because I did not want them cut down, what???  Nooooo... add more acrylic and make sure that the nails all are the same shape. I was so angry that she could care less that they were different shapes I literally walked out before even get polish completed , now I know why they have you pay first. Other customers over heard it and nodded their heads and were surprised because she didn't want to fix... what is that is that I've had the same guy for years and years, if this would've been done correctly she would've had a customer for life Read Less

I wouldn't give a star if I could . I was a regular customer of Kim's . She sucked with acrylic but I still went to her because she would talk to me while she did my nails and feet . I sent a friend to her and she over charged my friend . She charged her 45.00 for gel on her toe nails without pedicure or acrylic. I called there to see how much it regularly is and the woman on the phone said 25.00 so I went up there with my friend and showed her the receipt of 45.00 and told her she over charged my friend . Having been to this location before and not being overly impressed, I should have learned my lesson. My friend and I were short on time however, so we gave them another shot...never again.First, we were told it would be a 20minute wait. No biggie, we put our names in and went next door, telling them we would be back. After a little more than 20 minutes we come back and ended up waiting another 10-15 minutes. Finally we are seated, in what seems to be questionably hygienic seats. The water is luke warm, and suddenly, as they attempt to turn on the jets, water erupts into my friend's lap. They end up moving her to another seat.At this point I was in the chair over 20 minutes, and no one had started with me. My water was now quite cool, and my friend was about done with her pedicure.Finally someone comes to do my pedicure, and she was nice enough. But no options of pedicures, and the pedicure itself was subpar. My nails weren't trimmed evenly, barely any massage, and who knows how clean everything was.After all of that, we were charged full price and just left with a "sorry about the wait".I should have known better, considering I hadn't had a great experience in the past, but oh well. Lesson learned, never again.  There are better places to go...although this is convenient, I recommend passing this one up. Read Less

Had a pedicure with a friend using gift certificate from Brandon Hyundai. The tech did a nice job but my friend and I are worried we did not see them take sterilized tools out, I saw her use a used buffer on my nails and my friend asked me if I looked at the callous remover before she used it on me as she saw it and it had dead skin and didn't know if it was mine! Yuck! The chairs old dirty and uncomfortable the floor dirty and no one spoke English. Not at all comfortable and relaxing. Price was good only because of discounted gift certificate. Will not return because we don't want to worry about nail fungus or staph infections because of contaminated dirty tools. They don't sterilize the foot bath either Read Less

This place doesn't even deserve the one star review but that was my only option. I travel a lot for my business and when I'm in different cities I have to fine new places to go to to get different services done. I had been to this nail salon a few times and always have a decent experience. This time was the worst experience I have ever had a nail salon. The man giving me a manicure was incredibly rude when he didn't want to do my French tip in a different polish than its usually done in. Even though I told him I've had this done here and many other places. He was very aggressive and no one else was apologetic either. They saw I was very upset with the customer service I was getting and did nothing to rectify the situation. I would not advise going here if you want good customer or even ok customer service they were the rudest unprofessional people I have ever come In contact with. I run my own business and if I spoke to my customers spending $200 I would not have any customers left. Read Less

If you don't mind having tools used on you that were used on others, being in an environment that smells like urine then this is the place for you. I had to ask the nail technician to use a new buffer on my nails and I think that pissed her off. My nails did turn out ok but I'll be praying that I don't get nail fungus for the next week. Went to get pedis here with a friend yesterday.  The pedicure was very bare bones and was over with quickly.  This is great if you're in a hurry but we wanted to relax. But the worst part was the pushy sales pitches to get you to spend more money. Four different women asked me about getting a manicure and one other about waxing. Very unpleasant experience. There are way too many nail salons to go back to this mediocre one. Read Less

I had a manicure and pedicure today and my nails look great.  The guy that did mine was very thorough.  He did the pedicure first then let my fingernails soak while he was painting my toes, and did the manicure while I was still in the chair; it was very efficient and I didn't have to move all my stuff to the manicure table.My only concern is that I didn't see where the tools came from; I am used to spas where they open the tools or take them out of the sterilizer in front of you so you know they are sterile.  The spa could definitely use a good cleaning and a renovation.  The media center was really dusty and the floor could use a good sweeping/mopping. The ambience is not very spa-like or relaxing; the random decorations look like they went next door to TJ Maxx and bought the first things they saw, and then they haphazardly placed them on the walls, and didn't bother to fill in the nail holes where items were misplaced.There are 2 big screen tv's which is cool for when your hand are being worked on and you can't read a magazine, but it was difficult to see from my spot so I could only listen.The prices are very fair.Overall I am very pleased with how my nails look (the most important thing, after all) and I will go again if I am in the area.
