Tried this place two separate times months apart. My boss and I spent $100 plus tip. Rush job. I had to go back next day BC one hand did not have gel coat applied. Which I originally DID NOT want anyway. Two days later had to go back...acrylic lifting. recommended a FULL SET, (these are my real nails),& told I would have to PAY!! My bosses nail have all chipped and broken with in two days. Hers also never had clear top coat applied on her manicure. Both times I went here was a horrible experience. I have ever visited. Very convenient and accommodating when making appointments. The technicians are very helpful, and are very proficient at the art of nails! I was really optimistic because this place had great reviews but unfortunately this place reeked havoc on my hair and scalp! I was happy they could fit me in before the holiday but wow I wish I just hadn’t! I asked for a trim (less than an inch) and the woman gave me layers and layers that are so short and choppy. They are not blended and while she was blow drying it my scalp burned and I could smell my hair burning. I’m not sure what to do but my hair is damaged and I certainly have to find someone to blend these awful layers. Read Less

3rd time visiting KT.  This last time, was an "as needed" basis.  Had Jenny again  She's a nail bully!   No lie.  She'll twist the sh** out of your arm/hand and blame you if there's a spoil.   No thanks!               :( I just don't find this spot friendly.  I highly dislike the conversation between employees as it's just freaking RUDE.  I don't care who you are or what language you speak...we (especially in the USA) are ALL inclusive.  A sentence here & there?  No issue.  A conversation 'in your face' does not appeal to me.  I think most of us would agree.  Too close for comfort.   That coupled w/ the salon being, just not friendly.  Check, please! 3 stars; I might go back, but will definitely be trying other nail places before that happens. The gentleman who did my nails was super rushed, I barely even had my cuticles checked/maintained. My hangnails were still there when I left and I felt like I should have cut them before I went so I could get the look I wanted. The whole manicure lasted about 25 minutes and the nail polish didn't even look that great. It was a dark color and the bottoms of my nails were lighter, like the polish didn't stick.There has to be better places around here. Read Less

Always very clean which is no 1 with me! nail techs are a hit or miss, never know which one will do the best job, I've had bad and good work done but overall, I'm writing a review so it's not bad, pedis are always great tho!! Read Less

This place was a blessing, my hair was in need of some love and I was scared going into a new salon. I took a chance and walked in with no appointment and was pleased to be greeted with politeness and attention to what I was in need of. I'm in LOVE with this salon! I don't know why I've never heard of it before my visit today! I booked a nail appointment because I got a Groupon! I came in ... my Nails are AMAZING! Best manicure and pedicure I've had in a long time! Ingrid did a fantastic job! I'll most definitely be booking with her again! - I happen to notice they do touch up relaxers. I haven't had a salon do my hair in years! So I went for it spontaneously! I'm very picky w who touches my head! I'm not even finished yet and Rosa has done an amazing job! I have been here once before their renovation to have my eyebrows threaded. Just this past weekend I went for a wash and blow dry, and I really really enjoyed my experience. I don't do salons often if at all because alot of stylist don't know how to work with my natural hair. It was perfect and just the way I needed my hair done. Safe to say I have found my salon!!! Somewhat obsessed with this salon, and especially with the owner Jessica and her nail technician Sylvana! Came in off a terrible Groupon experience with another nail salon, and this was a breath of (heavenly) fresh air. Sylvana did a great job on my pedi and gel mani, listened to exactly what I was looking for, and delivered an A+ customer experience and beautiful work. I highly recommend KT Nails. I've gone there a few times and have left with perfect nails every time. But honestly, today I gained a whole new respect for them. I got my nails done and they didn't turn out as good as they normally do. I left and sat in my car, staring at two nails in particular and decided it was going to bother me if I left it. I went back into the store and asked them to fix two nails, and they insisted on redoing all of them if I had the time. I did, so they redid them all, kept apologizing, offered me a free nail design, and I left with perfect nails again. We all make mistakes, so a bad nail job can happen anywhere, the great thing was how they responded to it so nicely and generously, and fixed them happily. On the very off chance that you're not happy with your nails, don't be afraid to tell the manager. KT Nails is definitely a one-stop place for me... thankfully. It is good to make an appointment ahead of time, but walk ins are fine too, if it is not a busy time of day.Before, I used to get my nails done on one side of town and then my pedicure elsewhere.  Since KT Nails opened in the new Publix plaza, I just go there right after work and do everything at once.  Quick and easy.Jenny is my favorite technitian for nails, because I have acrylics.  Her fills are accurate and super fast.  I also left the country travelling for almost a month and told her ahead of time, so she made sure that my nails were extra sturdy to last the entire trip, and they did.I have had pedicures done by numerous people at KT, all have been very professional and relaxing.  The facilities and chairs are new and clean, so I have never heard of anyone having trouble.  Bella is excellent for pedicures, but like I said everyone has been great.They are located in the Publix shopping center called Lockwood Commons on the corner of Lockwood Ridge and State Road 70 (53rd Ave).
