I used to love it here. They do a good job. My complaint is that instead of being a relaxing environment for the customer its conversations between the nail techs in Vietnamese. Alot of times the music isn't even on. I feel its rude to speak around the customer in a language that is spoken only between them. My nail tech gave me the best spa pedicure with hot stone massage and a beautiful manicure.  I wasn't pressured for upgrades, although I was asked, she accepted my decline to the suggestion.  I like that the techs aren't overly talkative lol but they were friendly and that's what matters.  Place could use an upgrade and a bigger variety of reg. colors, but other than that the price is really great and the service is good and quick. One of the worst experiences I can remember  in my 26 years of getting my nails done. I don't want to be unkind and post a bad review. I simply want others to use extreme caution if you do go. They are in violation of several codes in this nail salon. The star is for the massage in the pedi chair. It is great. Other than that, Diva nails is unprofessional, semi-friendly, unclean (filthy), and the technical skills of the staff are at a very beginner level. Be careful! I used to love to go there and get my nails and toes done. They made me feel important, wanted, and truly appreciated, but as time goes on their work and the way they treat me when i come in is just crap. I had my nails done over a month ago just as usual got my fill in and one started to separate from my own nail bed and lifting and eventually broke.... so i did was i always do and went in. I showed the gentleman where my nail was lifted and broke. I asked him to fill in m...y other nails and to fix the one that had broke. He started to take one of his tools used to remove the entire nail, 5 seconds into it he stoped and instead of removing my nail he just used their bonding agent to fix my broken nail, he's the professional so i just sat and let him do his thing... when he was finished my nail was supposed to to be fixed, but you could still see where my nail had separated. I did not have time to have him re-do my blemished nail, so i left and went to work. I am a waitress on Anna Maria Island at Omas Pizza. Because of my profession my hands need to look clean and well kept. Once a week for the last month the same nail has broken in the same spot on the same finger. I have repeatedly asked to jave the nail removed and been repeatedly been assured that this time it will be correctly fixed, which has not happened even up to today. This afternoon i went in again and insisted that they remove the broken nail and put a new one on... I was told they were to busy to fix my nail, even woth not one person in there waiting. I was told to come back at 6, when i told them i could not they kept telling me to come a hr earlier all the way up until i accepted the 2 pm appt. It was completely obvious that they were speaking about me in a way that was hostile. This business is going down the drain, since the owner is not visibly present... after today i will not be taking any of business there, and wouldnt be going there today if it was the most convenient since i need to work.... Walked in with no appointment. Friendly staff. Had a gentleman for my gel manicure and an older woman for pedicure. Fast, good color selections, and English was descent! Would have liked a little more time on the manicure for the price but otherwise would come back again. Read Less

Not the most impressive nail salon I've ever been to, but the service was straight for the price.  I tend to frequent the high end salons back home for most of my mani/pedis, but I am not familiar with Bradenton and didn't know where a good salon was located.  My husband and I like to share a pedicure for an afternoon date and I was pleased when we were greeted and seated together.  There aren't many pedicure stations so I was worried they would break us apart from each other.  The tech was friendly and didn't pressure me for upgrades or extras.  He engaged in conversation through most of the procedure.  It was a little warm inside the salon, however they did have an oscillating fan nearby to circulate the air.  I would've preferred a little air conditioning, especially since I'm 8 months pregnant, but I suffered through alright.  The establishment would benefit from a little makeover. My second visit was a serious disappointment.  The technician arrived a few minutes after my arrival and clearlywas in a very bad mood.  Her pedicure was poorly done:  she barely clipped the nails, seemed annoyed whenI wanted to explore several colors, she didn't file my nails and didn't push back the cuticle.   She managedto do a brief massage and a few hot rocks.  It was all so superficial and with the slightest effort.  If I decide to return, I will avoid Victoria and ask for another technician.  I'm not interested in listening to her sarcastic remarksand mumblings again! I wish I had the experience ofarris had. It was the worst pedicure experience ever for me. The only one who appeared to speak english was the young man in the front. I was unable to communicate with the woman who was doing my pedicure. She sat me next to the only other client and the two technicians spoke and laughed in their foreign tongue the whole time. She looked very tired. I didn't like the way she cut my nails and she hurt me as she dug into the skin under my nail.....the third time I pulled away and told her that was skin under there!!
