I’ve been going there for at least 3 years and I love it. I’ve tried two other salons in town and they just don’t compare. This salon is modern and clean and you can actually breathe, you’re not stifled by the chemical smells. I typically get shellac and it has lasted me between 3-6 weeks. I only take it off because my nails grow out so long, but it doesn’t chip or crack. My favorite tech is Sammi. She is so sweet, funny and friendly. She remembers you even if she has not see...n you in months and she will remember your last conversation. It makes you feel like family. I saw some of the other complaints were about wait times and this is true! Without an appointment (which I never have) you WILL wait. Sometimes 10 minutes sometimes 2 hours. That is because they are incredibly busy because they’re so good! Their appointments book fast. I never think to make an appointment, I usually just go on a day that I want to relax so waiting doesn’t bother me. I walking to get my nails done they told me the price of $25 then they try to sell me on getting my nails redone starting over charge me for that and Then they try to charge me for gel polish Which I didn’t want the first place so Ii ended up paying $50 for $25 job. After they finished I look at my nails and there was a gap between my nails that the nail put on and my cuticle & my original nail, When I told them that they shouldn’t look like that they said oh well that’s how it always works refused to fix Save yourself the Trumatic problems at this place gives you and go to someplace else Read Less

If I could give zero stars I would. I had an elderly lady for a pedi and no chip mani. She had no idea what she was doing. Used cheese grater on my feet despite asking her to stop. I was coming here for the last 3 years and I always saw one tech in particular, Mimi. I loved her work!! However, this Sept she left for vacation and was gone way too long. I just figured she wasn't coming back. I kept calling for her return but I gave up. I did figure they would call me if she did come back. That would be a sign of excellent customer service. In the mean time, the nail tech they gave me could not compare to Mimi. Mimi was awesome! Mimi may be back by now but now they have lost a customer. I have found a more spectacular salon!!! Customer service is what it's all about if you want your clients to stay....this salon DOES NEED to improve customer service especially when you have someone checking you in while she is constantly on her phone. Terrible manicure, terrible polish job on my hands -- huge gaps between the edges of the polish and my cuticles. My fingernails look like they're on their third week of growing out. During my pedicure, the nail tech tried to dig an "ingrown toenail" out of my left foot (I didn't have an ingrown toenail) and I had to stop her because it was very painful. I should have walked out then. The customer next to me was complaining to her nail tech because it was the third time this c...ustomer had shown up for a scheduled appointment and it either hadn't been put in the appointment book, or it had been erased. Her nail tech then proceeded to malign his coworkers out loud as being incompetent, with essentially a "sucks to be you" attitude toward the customer. Employees out in front of the shop smoking, employees inside shop texting on their phones. Don't expect much in the way of customer service, either.Once they park you at the drying station, you're on your own, even when the timers go off on the driers. Just got a full set of acrylics done and they are gorgeous and elegant. Everyone on staff is really friendly. Best nail place in town. They may be a little more expensive than others in town, but you have to pay for quality. The other places I have been to may have been cheaper, but my nails came out crooked and the designs were not as articulate, the results are no where near as professional and beautiful as Bella Nails and Spa. Went to this salon as a walk in.  The salon was very clean.  I had a manicure and pedicure by David.  It was by far the worst I have ever had.  I informed the mgmt very discreetly that I was not pleased.  The owner thanked me for bringing it to her attention.  He completed my pedicure in 15 min. and my manicure in 5 min.  I could have done better myself.  I was charged $35.  I did not leave him a tip. I went here three days ago to have my nails done and sadly after paying $63 for the set , $12 tip, and another $5 for the having another woman put stones on because the first couldn't I have to say I'm very disappointed. $43 of the charge was the nails and the gel polish and $20 of it was for the stones which is crazy to me but oh well. In three short days the polish has turned this nasty dirty color and I've never had this happen and the stones have fallen off or some of them have turned black. I came here yesterday for a full set. I made a reservation, they were busy so I waited about 15 minutes. The staff were friendly. The nail polish selection could use some improvement. I go here whenever I'm in town visiting my mother, and usually its great.  But today was a big turn off.  It was crowded, and it felt like there were shortcuts all around.  They sat me in a chair, and stuck my feet in cold water, and then no one came to work on me for half an hour.  Unpleasant.   I asked for a spa mani-pedi, and they forgot that I wanted the spa and the mani!  I realized this, but decided to just continue with a plain pedi, as I had already been waiting so long.  When I come here, I'm treating myself after a long day at a nursing home.  I'll choose a different place next time, because this is not the experience I desire. My mom and I both had a mani/pedi. The quality of the mani/pedi was decent for the price. My manicurist, Tony had an attitude problem. He told me to "sit down" "come" "sit down" in a rude tone. Instead of verbally communicating that he needed my other leg or hand, he would hit it and shake his head. It wasn't a language barrier as he would speak to others just not me. I absolutely love this place. They're always busy, so I'd recommend an appointment if you're on a tight schedule. I always do walk-in appointments and i've never had to wait more than 20 minutes. This place is a joke, as far as lashes go! I called and made an appointment two days prior, and I explained specifically what I suspected I needed to have done. When I showed up, after  getting a sitter for my baby and driving 45 min, the two women who do lashes essentially said they couldnt work with the lashes I had (which I suspected), and that I had to do a full new set, pay for removal of the old, but that all of this had to be rescheduled for another day, as they had only put me down for an hour (even if I had explained I probably needed more time b/c so many had come off). Their delivery was so rude & their mannerism horrible, I have never experienced anything like it! If they have a problem speaking or understanding English to the point they cannot schedule or discuss an appointment, I suggest they get someone else at the front desk to take care of that. Best ever, love this place, completely sanitized and very particular about keeping their tools CLEAN... top notch all the way and they really pay attention to the DETAIL. My Mom and I got pedicures and gel manicures here. We made an appointment to make sure we could get in, but I think they take walk ins. I've been to this place a few times when I visit the area, and I'm always impressed. It's very clean, everybody is nice, they do a thorough job, prices are reasonable, nails look beautiful! I just left Bella's Nails without any services. Earlier today, I made an appointment earlier for 4:00. I arrived 5 minutes before my appointment and the receptionist told me to pick out my colors. I quickly picked my colors amd sat down. Five people walked in without an appointment and began their services promply. I was told it will be awhile. There are some nail stylists, just like hairstylists, or any other artisan--- that you will follow to the edge of the earth.  My one such person is named Ia, and I have followed her over to Bella Nails.Sometimes extremely talented individuals and creative geniuses are hidden away in small towns for various reasons; whether it is family obligations, modesty, or just simply avoiding stress and looking for a more simple life.  I do not know, and it is really none of my business, why Ia chooses to stay in Bradenton when she could easily bask in the lights of New York City.  However, I am extremely and genuinely grateful that she is conveniently located in Bradenton, available for an appointment, and willing to be creative at a decent price at Bella Nails.  Also, this is the first time that I have seen a nail salon run like a well-oiled machine by the head manager, Rose.  She is like a manicuring cyborg genius, wearing a headset and directing the entire team while doing nails at the same time.  She is the master of social media, and keeps the business going strong with excellent customer service.  No wonder Bella has been voted best nail salon two years in a row.  The interesting thing is; even with such a great staff, clean salon, and service--- the prices are very low and you are not rushed through your appointment.  This is also the first nail salon that I have ever been to that has a receptionist!  Now don't crowd the place, ok? It seems rather hard to find a place in Bradenton that does threading instead of waxing, but Bella Nails does. I looked at their deals online, and was hoping to get their One & Only Bella Signature Package -- European Facial, Signature Pedicure, Shellac manicure, and eyebrow wax or threading -- but unfortunately they were booked up for facials and wouldn't be able to do it that day. I appreciated the honesty and set an appointment for 4pm for a mani/pedi.The atmosphere was cheerful and bright, with many women seated getting pedicures and chatting, and regulars were clearly recognized as they came in, which is always a plus -- there was a mother and daughter who had clearly been there often and were greeted happily.I wound up getting my nails done by Rose, the owner/manager, I believe. She was very good, very happy to chat about anything, and teased her employees like good friends would. The manicure was well-done, the hand and arm massage very relaxing and my skin felt really good after it. I'm always wary of doing bright red polish, but this has stayed as vivid as the day it was painted on, and hasn't cracked or chipped at all. Given how much I abuse my hands by baking, fishing, and other such things, this is a miracle. The manicure deserves four stars, as the only thing that bothered me a little was the divergences into Vietnamese conversation.The pedicure was really comfortable: the water was hot but not painfully so, the chair comfy, and the lady who did the pedicure (not Rose) gave a lovely leg and foot massage that left me relaxed and with my feet smelling pretty. There were a few things that weren't great here, though: it was hard to communicate with the lady (which, not really either of our faults there), and she didn't clean up around the edges of the paint all that well. That said, the service was really good: for example, the girl next to me found the polish she'd selected turned more brown than she'd wanted when it dried, and the lady doing her pedicure didn't mind changing it halfway through. There was no sense of being rushed anywhere, either.This held true for the threading. The lady doing the threading wasn't as good at it as I'm used to (or maybe I'm just spoiled?), as there were a lot of broken threads and the occasional finger-in-eyeball, but she wasn't rushed, and  she was thorough. Just the discomfort of the occasional bit of skin getting caught in the thread as well as the hair, and the eyeball-pressure (she didn't have me stretching the skin or holding it still for her) was awkward and a little more painful than I'd have liked.Still, it was an overall-positive experience, just with a few bumps in the road. To sum it up:Depending on who you get, the customer service ranges from 5-star to 2-star. The manicure was great, the pedicure a little less so, and the threading not so hot but at least thorough. The place is very busy, but doesn't rush you. The employees are mostly Vietnamese, so occasional side-conversations in Vietnamese can be annoying, but it's overall a pretty good place. Read Less
