I went and spent $110.00 on NexGen and a fancy pedicure and in less than 24 hours my nail cracked. I went back the next day with my two sons ages 3 & 4 and was told I have to wait an hour and 40 minutes, for them to repair on nail. I LOVE this nail Salon! Been coming here for over 3 years. I get acrylic nails and any time I go to another salon ( if Im on holiday) one nail will always break, but not from here. They are always friendly. They do my nails as quickly as possible. I'll sometimes ring ahead to see if they are busy and then I work around them. Nicole is super lovely and does an incredible job. Terrible experience. First girl tried to remove shellac by filing the skin off my toes and then wrapping my toes in alfoil, no remover!!! I asked if she knew what she was doing...3 people later, she was advised by me that you need to actually put cotton wool soaked in remover inside the alfoil. It gets much worse. She was replaced with another person who took a huge slice out of the side of my big toe with the razor dead skin remover. Blood everywhere. She put terribly painful astringent product right on the wound. To add insult to injury, they offered, wait for it, a 9 dollar discount off the $59 bill. You’ve got to be kidding. The most terrible experience ever! I went this morning 9 am (12/30/2017) to just change my nail polish color because I got manicure done 5 days ago! I don't know her name, but she is young and sits close to door! Please RUN from her. I mention to her that she needs to remove my old nail polish completely to put new one and she had the audacity to say thats not included on the price. If you look my photo, you will see my old nail polish (red) on the side. I just came here because my lady is on vacation. I learned my lesson! However if you come here, ask for Stephanie! I did twice with her, but the front desk makes impossible to make apt with her saying that she is booked for next 2 weeks every time I call! She is awesome! Pretty disappointed. My wedding is on Saturday and went to get my nails done today. Got SNS on my real nails. When I got home to really observe my nails it was obvious she filed to much on the index fingers and there is a large “bump” at start of nail. The colour does not go right down to bottom also. They knew about the occasion so should have had someone well experienced to do it. She seemed confused over the SNS process also which became a worry! She was also friendly at the beginning but then became abrupt. As I am from Melbourne I chose this salon based on reviews and also friendliness over the phone. Went for a pedicure and very disappointed. Water was lukewarm at best, massaging chair was very poor quality and old compared to all the others I have been to. I went for first time, Kim the manager was very nice, HANDSOME SONNY gave me a gel manicure and pedicure.  It was the best I ever had!   It was packed with clients, they are extremely clean, at time of closing, we were almost done, two men came and cleaned every single chair. Please please please save your money! I cannot express how disappointed I am with my nails and experience. I had made an appointment for nexgen. I've been getting nexgen for years on my natural nails and never and I mean never have I ever "needed to have the old polish need to stay on because they need it as a base" so I need to have my old white polish as a base for my now dark nails?!? Yes! I guess I did. I was truly confused. But okay maybe this nail tech had a new method to her madness. Nope that was just the start! Then she starts telling me I have "none feminine hands and dry hands and cuticles" so her idea was to cut my cuticles to the point where they were bleeding. The color wasn't even the same color I wanted. I honestly felt like I was in the twilight zone for 45 minutes. The nail tech was by far the nastiest and worst nail tech I've ever come across. Not to mention scrolling through Facebook and Instagram throughout my whole appointment was far more important than making sure I was happy. Maybe that's why she didn't notice I was bleeding! Inconsistent. First visit I was won over Trish is great. Second visit the other day different tech was meh (she was friendly though). Got chemical burns on my fingers from dipping in acetone bowl. They should be foil wrapping to avoid skin contact. They’ve ignored my message so I’m posting in here. I thought I found the place for my nails and to recommend. The first time I came here was about 2 years ago and it was a great experience..every time after that has been worse and worse. Now I will no longer be going back. The only reason I even went this time was because I had received a gift certificate. The lady who did my pedicure was so rough. I like my nails short but she went overboard. She cut my nails so short especially one of my big toes that she actually cut the skin on it as well. It hurt! It was definitely uncomfortable for a couple days after. You can see in the pictures where she cut my skin in multiple places. She also was pulling at my cuticles so hard they were bleeding.  This past couple times I have gone have not been great either. Terrible. If i could give zero stars I would. I usually pay 35-40$ for coffin nails at oxygenix. They made me pay 45 when my friend paid 40 for the exact nails. I dont care about the $5 but they were very rude. I asked why mine was 45 and they said because it's coffin shaped. I came in with coffin nails and left with square nails. Not returning. Being new to south florida, I read all the negative reviews on this place and figured they were just bratty, entitled women being over-dramatic. Unfortunately within seconds of walking in the door my experience was similar to many others I read about. There was a young girl who had apparently called to request someone experienced to do her acrylics. While I'm not sure how rude she may or may not have been, the man at the front desk was being pretty rude to her and seemed to think she wouldn't pay for her services she hadn't even received yet. I didn't hear her say anything unreasonable and I am very aware of how nasty south florida women can be. I've never seen anyone in customer service assume the worst or accuse someone of something before any services had ever even been given. She even told him he was being unprofessional but kept a calm demeanor and did stay to get her service done. Her nail tech seemed to be fine servicing her, she didn't seem to be causing any problems, just wanted an experienced tech because her friend had a poor experience here previously. Im sure she regrets giving them another shot.My nail tech, B, was a sweet heart and did a great job, though my cuticle was cut (she apologized profusely) Also the gel polish I chose for my fingers did not have an exact match for the toes and I only noticed after she did my feet, right before starting my hands. I just visiting the Venetian in Boynton for the first time yesterday. The salon is open later than most which is great, so I can go after I get off work. I showed the technician a picture I found on yelp and she made a few recommendations. They do charge an additional $15 for "special effects", but it's absolutely worth it. In the past I typically got a standard NexGen manicure (one polish color). The picture I showed her had a glitter ombré effect. I told the tech I wasn't sure about spending the extra $15 (regular NexGen mani is $35) and she didn't pressure me. I justified the splurge since I'm trying to figure out how I want my nails to look for my wedding. I made the decision and I absolutely love it. This is by far the best manicure I've ever received. It's beautiful, fun, and totally me!! Thank you and I'll absolutely come back and try out a few more styles for my wedding. (Oh, I almost forgot, they are great at shaping/filing the nail). Been going to Venetian Boynton Beach since they opened their doors years ago. The only reason I continued going was for a few specific nail techs I've been with for years. Today I walked in for a 10:30 appointment I made during my last visit. Kim the manager must not have put it in the computer and my appointment was given to someone else so I waited for my tech to finish. When the manager Kim walked in at 11am I asked her what happened with my appointment and didn't she remember making it just two weeks ago? Mind you I'm a standing appointment every other week for years. She proceeded to tell me no one forces me to go there. I was shocked and appalled and when I said calm down, I'm a good client who you've known for years and said the normal thing would be to apologize to a customer and offer a solution and not to attack them. Well she just acted all affronted so I walked out never to go back again. I've also had a few rude encounters with her husband Don throughout the years but continued going back due to my techs who I love but no more. So I googled best nail salon in Boynton and was welcomed like a queen at Luminous Nails on Boynton Beach Blvd and received the best service ever...its true one door closes and another opens. Spare yourself the rude treatment by these managers and don't bother going there. They don't appreciate their customers at all. Read Less

Got nails done one afternoon, not crazy busy just normal traffic flow it looked like. Wait time wasn't bad, but upon leaving i noticed bubbles on my nails and was told it was normal so i ignored it. Upon paying i was tricked paying a higher price but it was too late to do anything so i let it be and left. Not even 48 hours after my nails were done they chipped and look as though i had been wearing the polish on my hands for 2 weeks. Ive had pink and white done many times before and never have i had the polish chip so quickly. Not only that but my cuticles were not cut properly and i had to go behind and redo them. My sister and I were walk-in's on a busy Sunday afternoon. We waited 30 minutes which is what the lady at the front desk promised. I was offered a bottle of water which is a nice touch. Lucy did a quick and thorough gel manicure. T did my pedicure and she was a doll- so gentle and gave a fabulous foot massage. I paid about $8 more for he combo than I am used to, but I did notice that they opened up a new sterilized package for each client. I really do not like writing bad reviews, however here it goes...My sister insisted that I give this place a try and we went in on Saturday around 250pm and was quoted a 30 minute wait. I was getting a gel mani and pedi and my sister a fill and pedicure. No problem, being that we didn't have an appointment and it's SATURDAY. After waiting for almost 45 minutes, my gel mani finally started. It was an older lady(not discriminating, just stating facts) that was doing my nails and everything was going good until we got to the painting of the nails. OMGGG it was horrible! If you have had a gel mani you know the process, which isn't short by any means. So, I had to sit there and wait to have the gel removed because the job was done so bad. The manager offered to have someone else do my nails and I had to decline and refused to have a pedi done. At this point, my sister's nails and pedi were completely done and we had already been there for 2 hours?! Needless to say, I am not impressed. My sister nails came out great, hence the extra star. The environment is nice and it was pretty busy but I had made an appointment about 45 minutes before I came in. I got a nexgen set and it was my first time and I was pleasantly surprised. It was a cool new process and the technician did a good job. I got my nails filed almond shape and it was $5 extra but he told me before he shaped them which was nice because I've gone to other places and they don't tell you until the end that the shape was extra. So I will keep this story short. I used to go there for services for some time, until I saw somebody with terrible terrible fungus on the toes receiving pedicure in next chair. It was dreadful fungus mixed with blood... You envisioned that??? right? So after the service was completed for that person, the tech just splashed waster over that customer's (with fungus) feet sink and vualla ! She  left the station. I could not take it. I asked my tech why they did not sterilize the sink . She was apologetic and said she did not notice that her colleague left it that way. I said:" I was watching!". My tech cleaned the sink with something to specialize and in 2 min they accommodated another new customer in that chair. Love this place! Been going there for 6 years and Don and Kim- the managers of this establishment- and the rest of the staff are extremely friendly and completely welcoming. They are very clean and sanitize everything- down to using new foot sponges and files for each customer. I recently changed to this nail salon after a bad experience at a different salon. Overall I would give it 4 out of 5 stars. I always call ahead for an appointment and have never waited to be seated with a tech. The reason it is not getting 5 stars is because sometimes I feel as if the techs rush and that leads to them hitting my skin with their machines and it making my fingers bleed. I love all Venetian Nail Spa's, but this one is my least favorite. With no appointment, there is usually a wait. Pedicure time, is my time to relax. The pedicures I have received there have been pretty unsatisfactory. They are usually rushed, and the paint job chips within a couple of days. I usually never get offered anything to drink. I keep giving this place a try & they always fail. Got a pedicure this past Saturday the lady had done the whole pedi in 10 minutes excluding the polish. When I look down my nails were all uneven. Next she did my gels she cut my cuticle & I started bleeding instead of apologizing she blamed me of having thin skin. Gels started chipping the next day!
