My mom had a gift card here that she wasn’t going to use and regifted it to me. I made an appointment this morning for a full body massage and it was the worst experience I’ve ever had. I’m still trying to get over it. Not only was the therapist late, she didn’t even introduce herself or ask me for my name. She just pointed to the room I would be in and told me to undress and lie facedown on the table. She proceeded to lather me in massage cream for an hour. Yvonne is highly skilled, knowledgeable and caring. She can loosen painful adhesions  in tissue caused by old injuries  and improve range of motion or deliver a relaxing massage. Do yourself a favor and skip making an appointment at this salon if you want to save your nails.... I came in to get my Nexgen done again and my nail technician began to RIP OFF the dried powder on my nails WITH A PLASTIC NAIL TIP resulting in my perfectly long healthy nails underneath to be completely ruined. not to mention I already had tips on and she took those off too. I received a certificate for the 60 min massage. I called and was booked with Adam. I've never had a full body massage ever, so it was awkward in that sense, but I got a great massage. Adam kept checking with me if the pressure was ok (I like a little bit of pain so I said it was ok every time he asked). He really worked with all the kinks in my shoulder area and they were satisfyingly sore afterwards, but the massage was still relaxing and I almost fell asleep. My mother & I came here Saturday morning for a 55 minute reflexology massage. Pros: very clean and affordable. Cons: my mother's masseuse smelled like cigarettes, and we both agreed that they were too rough, too fast, and the movements were very jerky. I told my masseuse that he was hurting me, but it didn't seem to matter. It was NOT relaxing at all and my shoulder is sore now. Another thing we didn't care for: during the shoulder/neck part of the massage, they have you lay down on your stomach (as opposed to other places where you simply sit up during this part). This made it hard to breathe (especially considering how hard he was pressing down on my back) and was quite uncomfortable. Afterwards when you go to the counter to pay, the masseuses do come out and stand around for a tip (as another yelper said). I was very disappointed in my massage this morning. I received a gift card for Christmas and was looking forward toward a great deep tissue massage. The place is very nice and clean however once I was taken back to the room, the therapist never did any consultation at all. He did not ask if I had any injuries or areas of concern, just told me to lie face down. I had to ask for the bolster under my feet because he didn't even position me correctly. The therapist then proceeded to massage me at warp speed. Nothing about it was deep, just fast over and over. When I asked him to slow down he went from 90mph to 80.  It was not relaxing at all. My two daughters and I went for massages here. It was my first time here but one daughters 2nd time. She didn't enjoy the first time but thought she would give them a second chance. We go to Tao often. My one daughter had a baby a month ago so she could not lay flat on her stomach so all they did was massage her feet for an hr and still charged $35. Right there we should of known. I wish I had the name of who was SUPPOSE to massage me rather than just dig his dam knees into me and burping the whole time. He was extremely rough, pulling the towel under my feet. I thought I would be bruised all over and he ruptured my kidneys. But when he kept yawning very loudly and burping that took the cake. Further more to stand there and wait for their tip is quite rude. I did mention this to the receptionist and was told the manager would call me. Never got a call. Just went here for my fist time. Had a fantastic massage by Adam. 55 minute massage is a great value for $35 and they often send out emails for days when they're another $5 off! The decor is  beautiful and relaxing. I might've even liked this place better than their other foot massage place (Tao on Palmetto) because they did the back massage last instead of first. My app was at 530, they got in 15 min late, my massage started at 10 to. Ended 50 min after, not 55, after their "best" therapist left the room FIVE times , each time leaving the door open. Room was very cold, no music, thenafter my request, they put music wayyy too loud. With the same warm towel she wiped my back, now cold and dirty, she wanted to wipe the rest of my body, I had to stop her. I couldn't relax, I was waiting for the old waivy noise table to break and fall any... minute, just sheets no blanket, too much light in the room, asked her something for my eyes, and she LITERALY threw a small towel in my face, not even in my eyes!, Spend half the time with the same stroke in my back and then just a rush oiling in the rest of the body. Went in to book an appointment for my mother and I. The woman at the front desk said she had availability the following day for a double room and for full body massages. We asked if 4:00 would be good and she said yes. Arrived to our appointment the following day and was immediately reprimanded that our appointment was at 3:00 and she said she called me. I never got a call. Instead of rectifying the problem she called her manager to try and have him listen to our conversation the previous day to prove she was right. We would have never accepted the 3:00 appointment and would have loved to see her face when she realized she was wrong, but as we thought, the manager couldn't listen to the conversation because the camera doesn't have voice audio.
