This is my new favorite spa! The staff is incredibly friendly and the ambiance of the spa itself makes you feel like you're walking into a fairy tale. They have a variety of hot teas, coffees, and infused waters with these delicious lemonade ice cubes for your enjoyment while you fill out paperwork (if you're new) or are waiting in the lounge for your appointment to start. I was paired with Charmaine Sharp for a custom spa facial based on first impression recommendations and she was a delight to talk to! She made sure to listen to my needs and goals for that appointment and customized an experience that was well worth the price and far exceeded my initial expectations. She is very knowledgeable about skincare and you can tell that she genuinely cares about making the improvements you want to see. I recently came to know Skin Apeel Day Spa as my dentist is located in the same building. Upon entering, it is immediately apparent that this is indeed a wonderful and natural sanctuary that offers the best treatments from massage to facials, to nails. They stock all of my favorite natural creams, make-up, soaps, aromatherapy, satin pillows, and the list goes on. The staff is impeccably polite and they take such good care of you. I decided to start with the Rain Drop Therapy massage and the masseuse, Kerry, is an angel incarnate into a human being. She dropped Young Living essential oils and rubbed them into my sore back, and used heat to help align my spine. It was such a caring experience that I felt enveloped in all of their good energy. The owner, Kim, goes above and beyond to ensure that everyone who steps into her domain of holistic sanctuary are completely taken care of. In the back there is an area where people can wait to receive their treatments. It feels like you're sitting in Europe admiring the murals/frescoes of natural greenery and classical architecture. I LOVE the teas that they offer... I mixed rose buds, mate, and lavender sage tea and let it steep in hot water then sipped on it and felt rejuvenated from the inside out. Other clients that were waiting told me of their other services such as the Balinese massage that incorporates steam and is truly a stress relieving treat. Next time, I would like to try the Thai massage that incorporates stretching. This center's massage therapists are the true healers and I would rather come here than anywhere else, because of the love and holistic healing techniques they infuse. They also sell power jewelry and crystals. It is a new-agey atmosphere where science and holistic treatments are implemented for a thorough healing and replenishing experience.
