Checked Yelp for this salon back in November 2017 since I wanted a good salon that would do great work and be ACCOUNTABLE their mistakes. Now being blonde for the past 5 years, I know mistakes happen....
Checked Yelp for this salon back in November 2017 since I wanted a good salon that would do great work and be ACCOUNTABLE their mistakes. Now being blonde for the past 5 years, I know mistakes happen. This is why I initially decided to go to one of what I thought was the best. My first master colorist was Solange, I asked the receptionist to reccomend me to the best at the time I needed. I thought Solange was great until I saw my hair came out looking like spaghetti. Thought this was normal but when another stylist at the same salon commented on the fact that she had put highlights on top of highlights and then reccomend that I see a new "master colorist" Andrea. I would have never changed stylist if I didnt get the correct advice that my hair was being over processed. Ok so I had a consultation with andrea showed her pictures of where I wanted to be which was more on the platnum blonde end since I was already beach blonde. I had extensions so I needed my hair to be color corrected and the roots to be retouched with a color break. Which is a technique hair colorist use so when your hair grows out there isn't a line on your root. However Andrea decided to put low lights when the time came...even up to the point when I asked her why is she putting this color in my hair she said it's like black and white...white looks brighter next to black. So since she is the professional I decided to leave her to it. All said and done this hair dresser put me back 2 years. I went 5 shades darker in my hair which I never once told her I wanted anyone that's blonde knows the pain. I went in I showed the owner where my hair was at before I had andrea do my hair. After my meeting with the owners and my new colorist and with my consultation my impression was that they were going to get my hair back to where it was before I even sat down with Andrea. Which would have been the right thing to do. Apparently they only wanted to comp one of my service, didnt even go back to my color that I was before and told me they no longer want to do my hair. Now for a salon that has a good reputation to do that to someone is outstanding. If you do go in don't let the stylist rush you, question everything, and make sure there is no confusion on what you want. Also be careful since certain stylist likes to overlap on your high lights and that can cause breakage. Good luck! This is my experience here hope it helps and I hope no one else would have to experience such a horrible act to their hair. BTW my hair is damaged and I have decided that I need to stop trying to go back to my original color that they ruined and regrettably I will be growing out my hair until it gets healthy again.

I have been going to Philip since he had his own salon and I followed him to Salon Sora. I can only speak about him. I like what he does. He listens and accommodates what you want. That is what I look for in a stylist!! I've experienced too many who do what they think is good, but I don't like. His color is spot on and my hair always looks amazing after seeing him. Highly recommend him. It is very pricey, but you get what you pay for.

The salon is well kept and staff is generally very friendly. Appointment times are honored and schedules are maintained. It's run like a higher end place, so the prices are reflective of that. I live the lavender scented towels they provide at the was station, you can get a glass of wine or cup of coffee while you're being serviced, and on weekends they have snacks. I see one person regularly, and I adore her.
What I don't like about the salon is the soliciting that the owners allow, particularly on the weekends. With a head full of chemicals, I've been asked and pushed to sample and buy muffins from an otherwise sweet woman, who I'm sure means well. It's not really the best way to relax and enjoy a Saturday at the salon.

Top notch service! Visited Salon Sora for the first time this past week and have been smiling ever since. Jessica worked some serious MAGIC on my buttery-gold blonde hair and gave me the perfect platinum color that I was looking for. She is one of the most talented artists that i've had work on my hair (and i've had a TON). After my color, Kerry STAYED LATE! to cut and style me. My hair seriously hasn't looked this pretty in such a long time! I will be recommending Jessica, Kerry and Salon Sora to to every single person that I know in the area.

Tyler was absolutely incredible. I have been hesitating a haircut since early last year since I have found that a lot of hair stylists just cut what they want rather than what you want. Tyler did an excellent job of fitting my wants even though it went against what I technically "needed". Very happy. Beautiful salon and everyone is so friendly. I will be back very soon!!

This is seriously the best salon I've ever been to. I've lived in NY and DC and paid big bucks for my hair, and NEVER have I had an artist like Tyler work on my hair. He is AMAZING, and (like another reviewer said), I just go in and let him do whatever he wants. He is so sweet, without being that kind of saccharin fake that so many stylists seem to think is the way to be, and SO talented, and professional. I've never had a better salon experience in my life. Everyone here is a pro, and they all seem to cheer each other on, are excited about each other's work, and go above and beyond. The best.

I regularly get a perfect gel mani & pedi with Tammy (I have seen Elizabeth as well, and she is very good), & I just got the most amazing, beautiful blond color correction & "Julianne Hough" cut from Natalia who is SO super knowledgeable & talented. My neighbor comes here as well & sees Frank & Louis & her cut & color is fabulous, healthy & shiny! Yesterday I experienced my first time at Salon Sora. As soon as I entered the beautiful salon that showcases sky high views of beautiful Boca Raton, I was warmly greeted by the attentive front desk staff. Moments later my stylists, Kaelyn. She made sure to take some time to get to know my hair and what I wanted. When I said I wanted a side bang and lots of layers she made sure I knew how to style it with my naturally wavy and extremely fine hair before I committed to this sty...le. She did a wonderful job angling the front of my hair giving the appearance of heavily layered hair without making my already fine hair seem even thinner. Once it was time to get a wash I was created by the energetic Puma. Just thinking of his bright personality as I write this puts a smile on my face. After making sure I enjoyed the smell of lavender he laid a warm lavender scented towel across my chest as he gave me the best shampoo I have ever received. As he stated he gives an "invigorating wash", and he wasn't kidding. My scalp experienced heightened blood flow and a deep clean as soon as his magic fingers got to working. I wish I had Puma to wash my hair and give me that amazing scalp massage everyday! He also let me know of a silicone based treatment, called Antidote, that will make my damaged hair come back to life. Once back in Kaelyn's chair she worked magic. It had been a while since I last had my hair cut because I have endured some pretty awful cuts in the past and was very hesitant to try someone new after moving down to the Delray area. I am so thankful I finally got over my fear and am happy to say this will not be my last visit to Salon Sora! I plan on returning soon for the Antidote treatment by Puma and regular haircuts with Kaelyn to get my hair healthy in time for my upcoming wedding next November! See More

All I can say is AWESOME!!!! I have to say that I have NEVER reviewed a salon before in my life, in fact I have never reviewed anything online before, but after going to SKY Salon I couldn't help myself! Sky Salon is not only beautiful but warm amd friendly too! I've never seen a salon this beautiful AND clean! I went to Sky on the recommendation of my best friend. I can't wait to thank her! I went for a color and a brazillian relaxer. I was greeted at the front desk by Ashley who is sooo sweet and helpful. After asking if I wanted coffee or a glass of wine she introduced me to Amy who was going to do my color. Amy did the most amazing color. I asked her to make my boring brown hair into blonde and BLONDE she did! I LOVE my color, thank you AMY!! I will be back when I need a touch up! My next stop was to Natalia who did my brazillian relaxer. All I can say is that if you have frizzy hair and want it to shine like glass go see Natalia and see how she can transform your hair in under two hours! I FINALLY found a salon to call home!! THANK YOU TEAM SKY!!! P.S.- I was referred to Chari for a haircut which I am really looking forward to on my next visit! I can't wait for all the girls at the club to see the new me!!

I don't know who they think the'yre fooling. The place is absolutely gorgeous. Very lofty upscale New York Style. What a surprise that noone seems to know what they're doing. I should have left when I saw someone crying in the chair when I first walked in, but I thought I'm here and maybe someone is just having a bad day. My hair was destroyed by the color, not only was it orange, but breaking off. I guess the owner, a rude New Yorker made me feel like it was my fault and that she knew what she was doing since she was from New York. Well, I've been having my hair done for 25 years and pay a good amount of money, but this was the worst and cost me almost $300 to have my hair broken and a horrible haircut. I think I'm paying for the decor. They should have saved money on the look and invested in some decent hairdressers, not people just out of hair school.

I just spent the most amazing day at Sky Salon! They make you feel as if you are in your own private salon with your best friends, who really know their craft. I have traveled extensively and Meg gave me one of the best facials I have ever had, Liz is an expert Manicurist and beyond heaven is Katrina! She is from the Devachan Salon in NYC and an expert curly hair specialist. She gave me the best hair style and color I have ever had, I can now stop fighting my unruly curly/wavy/frizzy hair. If you have curly or wavy hair, book an appointment NOW! Bring cash for tips, they deserve large tips for such fantastic results.

I have been going to Philip since he had his own salon and I followed him to Salon Sora. I can only speak about him. I like what he does. He listens and accommodates what you want. That is what I look for in a stylist!! I've experienced too many who do what they think is good, but I don't like. His color is spot on and my hair always looks amazing after seeing him. Highly recommend him. It is very pricey, but you get what you pay for.

I live the lavender scented towels they provide at the was station, you can get a glass of wine or cup of coffee while you're being serviced, and on weekends they have snacks. I see one person regularly, and I adore her.

He is AMAZING, and (like another reviewer said), I just go in and let him do whatever he wants. Love this salon! Tyler is amazing and is a highly talented color specialist. I go in and let him decide what is best. I love the trust I have in him and I look forward to going every time!

Wow, best staff ever! I was in the chair for almost 4 hours and they fed me, offered me a drink, and the entire experience was amazing! I will definitely be returning a normal basis. My hair turned out perfect too, and you could tell the entire staff worked together to make the entire place run like a gem! 10/10

I regularly get a perfect gel mani & pedi with Tammy (I have seen Elizabeth as well, and she is very good), & I just got the most amazing, beautiful blond color correction & "Julianne Hough" cut from Natalia who is SO super knowledgeable & talented. My neighbor comes here as well & sees Frank & Louis & her cut & color is fabulous, healthy & shiny! Everyone I see getting a service leaves looking like a million; I think the entire staff is exceptionally talented.

Yesterday I experienced my first time at Salon Sora. As soon as I entered the beautiful salon that showcases sky high views of beautiful Boca Raton, I was warmly greeted by the attentive front desk staff. Moments later my stylists, Kaelyn. She made sure to take some time to get to know my hair and what I wanted. When I said I wanted a side bang and lots of layers she made sure I knew how to style it with my naturally wavy and extremely fine hair before I committed to this sty...le. She did a wonderful job angling the front of my hair giving the appearance of heavily layered hair without making my already fine hair seem even thinner. Once it was time to get a wash I was created by the energetic Puma. Just thinking of his bright personality as I write this puts a smile on my face. After making sure I enjoyed the smell of lavender he laid a warm lavender scented towel across my chest as he gave me the best shampoo I have ever received. As he stated he gives an "invigorating wash", and he wasn't kidding. My scalp experienced heightened blood flow and a deep clean as soon as his magic fingers got to working. I wish I had Puma to wash my hair and give me that amazing scalp massage everyday! He also let me know of a silicone based treatment, called Antidote, that will make my damaged hair come back to life. Once back in Kaelyn's chair she worked magic. It had been a while since I last had my hair cut because I have endured some pretty awful cuts in the past and was very hesitant to try someone new after moving down to the Delray area. I am so thankful I finally got over my fear and am happy to say this will not be my last visit to Salon Sora! I plan on returning soon for the Antidote treatment by Puma and regular haircuts with Kaelyn to get my hair healthy in time for my upcoming wedding next November! See More

All I can say is AWESOME!!!! I have to say that I have NEVER reviewed a salon before in my life, in fact I have never reviewed anything online before, but after going to SKY Salon I couldn't help myself! Sky Salon is not only beautiful but warm amd friendly too! I've never seen a salon this beautiful AND clean! I went to Sky on the recommendation of my best friend. I can't wait to thank her! I went for a color and a brazillian relaxer. I was greeted at the front desk by Ashley who is sooo sweet and helpful. After asking if I wanted coffee or a glass of wine she introduced me to Amy who was going to do my color. Amy did the most amazing color. I asked her to make my boring brown hair into blonde and BLONDE she did! I LOVE my color, thank you AMY!! I will be back when I need a touch up! My next stop was to Natalia who did my brazillian relaxer. All I can say is that if you have frizzy hair and want it to shine like glass go see Natalia and see how she can transform your hair in under two hours! I FINALLY found a salon to call home!! THANK YOU TEAM SKY!!! P.S.- I was referred to Chari for a haircut which I am really looking forward to on my next visit! I can't wait for all the girls at the club to see the new me!!

I don't know who they think the'yre fooling. The place is absolutely gorgeous. Very lofty upscale New York Style. What a surprise that noone seems to know what they're doing. I should have left when I saw someone crying in the chair when I first walked in, but I thought I'm here and maybe someone is just having a bad day. My hair was destroyed by the color, not only was it orange, but breaking off. I guess the owner, a rude New Yorker made me feel like it was my fault and that she knew what she was doing since she was from New York. Well, I've been having my hair done for 25 years and pay a good amount of money, but this was the worst and cost me almost $300 to have my hair broken and a horrible haircut. I think I'm paying for the decor. They should have saved money on the look and invested in some decent hairdressers, not people just out of hair school.

I just spent the most amazing day at Sky Salon! They make you feel as if you are in your own private salon with your best friends, who really know their craft. I have traveled extensively and Meg gave me one of the best facials I have ever had, Liz is an expert Manicurist and beyond heaven is Katrina! She is from the Devachan Salon in NYC and an expert curly hair specialist. She gave me the best hair style and color I have ever had, I can now stop fighting my unruly curly/wavy/frizzy hair. If you have curly or wavy hair, book an appointment NOW! Bring cash for tips, they deserve large tips for such fantastic results.
